My landlord paid for this move on 07/22/2024 and I know it is over a month but we realized we are missing boxes of kitchen supplies (valuable cooking pots , insta pot) and more. It took us a while to unpack due to currently being in my third trimester. I used this company to move , I bought a new dining room table from Costco a few months prior . Two of the chairs came broken but the table was new . The movers put the table in some way that the wood lifted and buckled and they put boxes over it to hide the damage and the company has been brushing me off . Saying it was damaged . Then that I should of bought separate insurance that was never offered to me . Then they said I'll get a offer for the damage with in a week this was months ago and I have simply been ignored .they are not trustworthy and they charged me double than they quoted .and the fact that they could of done this shows they are not someone you should try . Extremely upset with this company. I moved my business to a new location, about 500 yards away. I had a stackable washer/dryer that worked without any issues on Friday. The move took place on Saturday morning. The move went well. We attempted to use the washer for the first time after the move and it was broker and it flooded my new place. I immediately had a service company come out to fix it. I was informed the repairs would cost 300 for the part and 350 for the repair service. I researched the cost of a new machine and it was about 600, so I obviously opted for a new machine rather than spending more on repairs. I then contacted AOC to file a claim to recover some of the cost of the new machine. I was informed that they would do nothing for me. They were extremely rude and lacked any compassion or understanding for my business and the associated costs. It was very simple to know that something occurred during the move that caused my machine to go from working to not working and they found every excuse to avoid taking any responsibility. I would avoid them for the very reason that you are unable to watch everything they do during your move and there is no way to know that they did something to your equipment/property. They will definitely deny any responsibility and do nothing for you to recover your losses. On top of that, they are rude and condescending about it. read more

Excellent movers. Domingo and Michael helped us (apologies if I've misspelled their names). They were efficient and professional, easy-going and funny (not requirements, but def bonuses). They took a look at our apartment and gave us a spot-on estimate about how long they thought it would take. There was a very narrow stairwell we were worried about carrying furniture through. They did one walk-through and said it'd be fine -- and it was. They wrapped our tv, couch, and cheap Ikea drawer diligently to protect them. All in all, it took about 3.5 hours to move a 1-bedroom apartment (they double the drive time by law, I believe, which brought it to 5 hrs). The move was smooth and about as quick as it could have been. We hope to stay put in the near-term, but if we have to move, we'd happily hire them again. read more

There were plastic cups, rocks, sponges and trash packed into large boxes, all which they charged me for; while refusing to use the packing materials I had supplied them. Damage was caused to my floors and appliances as well, plus tv cables, screws to reassemble beds all missing! What an epic disappointment!!! Don't use this company!! read more

I'm only giving them one star only because after 9hrs!!!! I'm moved into my one!!! Bedroom. It started with them being late, telling me they didn't have closet boxes!! My bad feeling was on point. They were slow! There was no consistent flow/ my displeasured came out when I saw my couch laying by the dumpster!! Needless to say I need to get that cleaned! And when the clock was ticking, losing my elevator slot they seemed to move even slower. I called for reinforcements!!! 9hrs for 1 bedroom!!!!!! And btw they charge for everything!!!!! I called the company for a move this month. The lady on the phone was very nice and friendly, but somehow there was a disconnection between her and the movers 1. They did not arrive on time, turned out they didn't even know about the move 2. Once they got here, they said tapes needed to be charged additionally. $3/roll. 3. They took a long time going back and forth and were very inefficient in terms of moving things. 4. AFTER they moved most of the stuff, THEN they stated they couldn't move the piano and needed to call in 2 additional movers. ( which i made VERY clearly on the phone before the move with the lady that I had an upright piano to move and was promised it wasn't a problem ) I'm a college graduation and had only one bedroom worth of things. The destination location was only 15 minutes away. It took them more than 4 hours to finish the job. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend this company due to their inefficiency ( intentional or not ). Of course unless you are not paying out of your own pocket, any company would be more ideal than moving by yourself. p.s. my piano was not wrapped properly and was scratched on the bottom. oh and to my recent discovery, one of the keys doesn't work anymore. read more

I received a quote a few days before my move, and I was pleased they were able to accomodate my schedule with a few days of notice. Antonio and Francisco arrived promptly at 9am and got to work. I had a couch that had to be hoisted down over my 2nd fl balcony, and they also had to remove the glass panes from my window to get the couch into the new apt!! Nevertheless, they moved quick and worked hard on a very hot summer day. They protected everything with Saran wrap and broke down/ rebuilt my furniture quickly. I love these guys! Armando is super professional, courteous, and amazingly good at moving big stuff carefully and efficiently. He and two other gentlemen showed up at my house at the expected time, called first, gave me a great deal, and then carefully wrapped all of my belongings before loading them into the truck. I used these guys a couple of times before but after this last move I would not recommend their services I'm afraid. The move took 5 hours for a one bedroom. During the move they repacked alot of the things that I had already packed into their own wardrobe boxes, and taped up boxes that needn't be taped up. All this was done without prior approval and they charged an extra $64 which I paid for because after the 5 hours I just wanted to be done with it. I paid $70 per hour for 3 hours, plus the $64.00 then tipped them. They took a total of 5 hours to move a one bedroom. If you want to save time and money, consider renting a U-Haul and hiring movers that wait outside the U-Haul. They will move everything for you without 'repacking' things. You will save time and money. A friend said that for a one bedroom, the job was done in 3 hours and she only paid $200 and that includes $40 tip for each of the two movers. The reason its so low is because the movers keep 100% of the money they make. They are not hired through a moving company. Unfortunately I learned of this after my move was complete. read more

Apparently, the last weekend in June is the busiest moving day of the year. Who knew?! We had movers lined up, however, our date shifted several times and finally fell on the last day of June. I called many places and was turned down as they were all booked. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I found Always on Call Moving and called Armando who was able to squeeze us into the schedule. He was very polite and reassuring on the phone. Armando's crew, Nelson and Maynor, showed up during their scheduled time for our move. They did a quick assessment of the layout and immediately got to work. While we disassembled furniture, these guys took care of everything else. We told them from the morning that we'd be providing them with lunch, and they were so professional, that they demanded to work through lunch. We refused to let that happen and convinced them to take a lunch break. Great guys. Great overall experience. I will definitely be calling Armando again for my future moving needs. We had hired AOC Moving to help us move out of our 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment into another 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor. My roommate had called and set up an appointment for them to come, and while we agreed on a 2:00 pm arrival, they were cautious enough to let us know ahead of time that it might not be at that exact time and gave us a time frame they would come (between 2:00-4:00, and that's a lot more accommodating then having a company promise you they will be there at a certain time and not showing up until later). 2 men, Alex and Martin, both showed up at 2:00pm with a large moving truck and we discussed the move that might take longer than the 3-hour minimum that they charge due to the large living room we had. We had hoped it wouldn't take more than the 3 hours, but understood that they are only human and it was 2 guys moving an unusually large apartment in 90 degree heat and humidity on a Sunday. They charge $75/hour with cash, or $85/hour with credit card. As soon as the agreement was signed, they got to work. I want to applaud the two for working so quickly and efficiently. Although it is an extra charge to have things specially wrapped to avoid damage, they will completely wrap and secure all your furniture in blankets and plastic wrap to absorb as little damage as possible. There moving truck was large enough that they could fit 2-full bedrooms, a large 75"-TV, 2-piece sectional couch with ottoman, dining room, and patio furniture in one move without going back and forth from the new apartment to the old. They moved all of our stuff and even figured out a way to get our huge sectional couch into our new apartment complex that would not fit in the staircase or elevator without any extra charge. They would put the furniture anywhere you wanted and had a great attitude all day. At the end it took them 5-hours and we were charged $375 (Really $415 because it was a $40 charge for the crate for our TV) a great deal for the work. The two were such a pleasure to work with and would definitely work with again! Thank you so much Alex and Martin for all your hard work. ALSO NEVER FORGET TO HAVE SOME TYPE OF FOOD OR DRINK FOR YOUR MOVERS. THEY WORKED SO HARD FOR ALMOST 6 HOURS IN HIGH HEAT AND DIDN'T STOP FOR A BREAK. read more

Omg these guys are amazing! My fiance and I needed help moving all of our stuff from our apartment in Westchester, LA to our condo in Santa Clarita. Alex and Billy arrived on time, was very kind and courteous. I must add that our condo is on the top floor without an elevator. These guys come highly recommended by another well-reviewed moving company on Yelp when the other company couldn't do my move from LA to SF. They were incredibly careful, everything was wrapped up with several layers of blankets and saran wrap and everything arrived in perfect condition. This was no easy task as I moved from a three story townhouse to a four story walk up! Armando and his crew are friendly, honest, fast, careful and the price is very reasonable. Armando and his crew were a life saver! I made a reservation on very short notice and they crushed it. I was amazed to see how well organized and protected everything was.
