Great stuff! I'd heard so many good things about the tomato bagel, but when I finally took a bite, it still surprised me. The tomato was bursting with rich olive oil flavor, and the cream added even more layers to the experience. It was just as satisfying as one filled with meat. I came here at 2:30 p.m., so there wasn't much of a line, and every staff member was so friendly and nice. The space is small but clean.

Finally tried what everyone is raving about! Apollo Bagels absolutely nailed the classic lox bagel experience. The smoked salmon sandwich was loaded with silky, fresh lox layered generously over a perfectly toasted everything bagel with a thick spread of rich cream cheese. The capers added the perfect salty bite, while the fresh dill and thinly sliced red onions gave every bite a bright, refreshing flavor that balanced everything beautifully. The bagel itself was incredible and crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and packed with flavor from the sesame and seasoning crust. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality, and the balance of textures was honestly perfect. Paired it with their fresh orange juice and it made the whole meal feel even more refreshing. The juice was freshly-squeezed, naturally sweet, and was the perfect complement to the savory richness of the lox sandwich. Simple ingredients done exceptionally well. Apollo Bagels easily serves one of the best smoked salmon bagels I've had that's fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and absolutely worth the hype.

There's a reason this place gets so much hype. I came on a Sunday during lunch and only waited in line for about 15 minutes, which was honestly not bad at all. The lady helping us at the cashier was incredibly friendly and had the most infectious energy. I ordered the Smoked Salmon and Tomato on an everything bagel, and oh my goodness, both were absolutely delicious. The amount of cream cheese was perfect. The toppings on the smoked salmon were paired so well that every bite just came together perfectly. The bagel itself was crispy and not overly thick like your average bagel. The tomato bagel was super refreshing. For the price, it is totally worth it. This spot is now a must visit every time I'm in New York.

This was an interesting experience as a visitor from LA--instead of grabbing a famous New York bagel, I wound up here for some LA-style bagels?! Is LA-style a thing? I'm calling it that since I've been to so many bagel shops back home serving bagels almost identical to this. $15 for the lox was a good price, although none of the bagels are heavily topped. Also got a white fish which had a very conservative amount of fish, and a very meh tomato bagel. Our favorite was definitely the lox. The toppings were fresh and the bagel toasted crispy with a nice chew. My friends (not from LA) all loved it, it was just fine for me, although I can see why there's hype since this is way different than the traditional NY bagel. Got here shortly after opening and there was no line. Waited less than 10 min from time of order to receiving our food. The freshly squeezed OJ was kinda expensive but good. At least it's better than Courage and I'll die on that hill.

Omg Apollo was amazing, we were also incredibly hungry before coming but I don't even think that's biasing my opinion cuz these bagels were delicious! The tomato is so fresh and such a cool style I haven't tried before but I really like it. There's also a good amount of seating inside and we found a spot to enjoy. Service is pretty fast! Def check it out!

Loveee Apollo Bagels!! I love fresh tomatoes so I love that they have tomato bagels with minimal ingredients which makes it so refreshing and tasty!! We came on a weekday late morning where there were no lines and super fast service. Love the interiors of the location as well and will definitely be back here!!

Fresh OJ with really good bagels and can't complain! Was pleasantly surprised with the tomato's (not a huge tomato fan) and I loved the crunch of the everything bagel. Was light and refreshing so I would come here again. I would definitely come here again the service was quick the vibes in there were nice. I would definitely get the orange juice it was so refreshing during the hot NYC days

I can confidently say this is my favorite bagel in the city. I love the flavor of their sourdough bagels. It really elevates the experience! I've tried everything, and they're all great. My favorite is the tomato bagel with scallion cream cheese. The tomato offers a nice refreshing bite, and when paired with the scallion cream cheese and everything bagel, you get three great flavors culminating together for the perfect bite. Now, the line can be really long, but it moves extremely fast. They have their systems down, which is so nice, and while there is no seating inside, I love just walking right over to Tompkins Square Park and enjoying my delicious bagel there. If you're looking for a great New York bagel experience, I highly recommend Apollo Bagels!

Smoked salmon bagel was actually amazing and lived up to the hype, beautiful crunch on the everything bagel, warm and airy with fresh smoked salmon and scallion cream cheese that added a nice cooling effect, extremely well done

I understand the hype. The salmon on an everything bagel was very good. It held its structure well and everything was really well balanced. And for how popular this store is, I was surprised that the prices were not higher. They also have a cold brew on tap which was the best coffee I'd had in a minute.

The first time I had Apollo Bagels last June at their Williamsburg location, it genuinely changed my life. The sesame bagel with cream cheese and tomato was phenomenal. The tomatoes were insanely sweet and juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the bagel itself had that loud, crispy crunch in every bite. My friend and I went to this Apollo Bagels location this past Sunday for lunch. There was a short line, but we ordered and received our bagels within 20 minutes. Fortunately, we found a spot next to the door to enjoy them. BAGEL WITH CREAM CHEESE AND TOMATO - 7 While there was still sparks, there was no fireworks this time. It didn't quite have the same magic as the first time. The bagel was still perfectly crispy, but the tomatoes just weren't as good. They're probably not in season, which made a noticeable difference. BAGEL WITH SMOKED SALMON, CREAM CHEESE, CAPER, RED ONION, DILL - 15 This was was pretty mediocre. The salmon was a bit plain, not really smoky or buttery, and overall it tasted like something I could easily make at home. Still a solid spot with one of the best bagels I've had in NYC. I'll have to buy a half dozen to bring home during my next trip.

Worth the hype! So yummy and filling The bagel was crisped to perfection while maintaining a soft and fluffy interior. I loved the oil and pepper bits that came through with the tomato. (Could've used more pepper but I think that about everything) The whitefish salad was also yummy (there are some bones in there). It was almost giving mashed potato to me. Not very salty, which I appreciated. We got it on the side and added it to the tomato bagel. No complaints There's no seating inside and like one seating area outside so you might have to go to the park nearby to eat.

I always thought bagels were just decent--not something I'd go out of my way for or consider a must-stop while food touring. This place completely changed my mind. I couldn't believe I went back twice. The prices are unbelievably fair, especially compared to other spots that tend to overcharge. The portions are excellent--it really feels like the chef is working magic. I'll be coming back every time I visit New York. Easily one of the best meals I've had in NYC.

FOOD: We ordered a bag of 3 bagels-- everything, poppy seed & salt. The bagels were cute, medium sized and served warm/hot. We chose the scallion cream cheese which came in a lil container. Apparently the bagels are not made in the traditional manner, but they were still delicious with great texture and taste. We also ordered the tea (ok) and strawberry lemonade (yum). We enjoyed our bagels on the little countertop area outside. OVERALL: Definitely recommend! A different bagel experience than some other places (as in, those places where you are served bagels topped with cream cheese and other things) but we enjoyed the simplicity of the bagels and controlling the amount of cream cheese.

Anyways, the girls had bookmarked another bagel establishment but the line was hella long like they were giving away Knicks gear for free. Ironically another "bagel shop" search on Yelp showed PopUp Bagels was like three doors down lol. No line! That in itself was making me question but there is a PopUp in San Diego that my daughter swears by. PopUp advertised itself as "Not Famous, but known." Whether or not this bagel is better than the one store three doors up is something I cannot attest to. However I can say THIS WAS A DANG GOOD BAGEL! And it was freshly made! How do I know? It literally burned my fingers when I ripped it open! The pain was worth it. Outside, a slightly crisp texture generously coated with "Everything". Inside was a dense and chewy dough that was pliable but able to withstand the dipping and shmearing of cream cheese (which was smooth). Best I have ever had for sure but then again my most common bagel experience is the place named after a scientist where tons of bagels are sitting in bins for who knows how long. So why wasn't this a 5-star experience? One, I only ate one thing. Two, sevice and setting are "just there". Considering it wasn't busy I would expect a bit more of a welcome. To eat you're bagel you can full on just leave, sit at the three stools inside where it is super hot (bc hey they actually cook), or three stand outside. There is a little, I'll say "patio", where you can stand, eat, and true story, watch two people argue about who gets to sort through the recyclables from the neighborhood eateries. Snack and a show???? I just stood near the door and enjoyed my bagel.
