Wow wow wow these bagels were amazing!!!!!! We went before work on a Friday morning and got lucky there was no line at all! They season the tomato slice with flaky sea salt, black pepper, and an oil drizzle, which really deepens the flavor. I also tried a sesame bagel with butter, which was pure and perfect. Nutty toasted sesame taste really shined through. They have hot coffee, and it's good quality coffee, but they only offer oat milk or whole milk, not half and half, which is a total letdown. The line can get long, but luckily it goes by quickly so it took less than 10 minutes for me to order on a busy Saturday weekend around 11AM. However, they were missing the springy and soft inside so my jaw started getting tired after eating the first half of one of the bagels. The bagels also has less cream cheese than the standard New York bagel. They charge an additional $1 for a flavored or the vegan cream cheese seems a bit excessive since they only have 3 basic options. Also, I wish they had simple syrup on the condiment bar because the granulated sugars don't melt very well in their iced coffee. The process is like a production line and so there isn't really a vibe in the restaurant. There is a limited place to eat with a standing bench inside, and a bench in the front and around a tree outside. These are some solid bagels! This is probably one of the more popular bagel spots recently, and it was on my list to definitely try in my most recent visit to NYC. We've been here a couple of times with at least 20-30 people in mine ahead of us, and typically make our order within 15-30 minutes. Apollo has a limited menu - only offering 3 bagels options (everything, sesame, plain) and a limited selection of toppings.
