Apollo installed the Screen door and we loved it. Unfortunately, our dog didn't see the screen and ran into it a month later tearing the screen. Called Apollo and Jose was out to repair the screen within 24 hours as good as new. Repair was less than an hour. Apollo not only has a great product but great service too. Purchased a retractable screen for our french doors. This one star is not for the quality of the screen but the fact that we specifically told the salesman we needed the screen to keep the cat in. He told us no problem and we paid over $785 for the screen and installation. The installer hadn't even backed out of the driveway when the cat popped open the screen. I called and they told me I would need a lock for it called a "french door kit". So 2 days later they came back out and installed the lock (additional $75). Again, the installer wasn't gone for more than 5 minutes when the cat just shoved his head under the screen and walked out. Extremely disappointed that they lied to me and I spent so much money on a useless screen. So beware anyone with pets, these screens do not in any way keep your pets in or anything out for that matter, any vermin or bug can just crawl under the screen. There is a track they screw to your threshold and the screen material loosely fits in the track and almost always it not inside the track at all unless I physically place it there but any strong wind or even hosing the patio causes it to come out. I can't remove it either because they have screwed nails into the threshold and frame so I would have to replace all of it. read more

I've been wanting these retractable screens for over a year now, and have been shopping around. Other companies I contacted all had some issue, cheap screen builds, or way to expensive. I did not contact Apollo right away because they were so far from me, but after three other companies disappointed, I gave them a call. I was in there service area! Their prices were in the median (not to high, not too cheap), and they build their own screens. I made an at-home appointment and we got started. They came out, measured, and we talked about what I wanted. We were on the same page! After a couple of weeks they came out again for the installation and I could not be more pleased. We moved into this house with the most beautiful French doors, but we couldn't keep them open, because of the obvious bugs coming into the house, and also the fact that our dogs would run outside and mow the lawn . At one point we were going to just remove the glass French doors and replace it with a traditional slider, until we heard about these retractable French door style screens. What a complete miracle. Best decision ever! Now we can swing our French doors open utilize the Screen doors and Wala. Great breeze comes into our house. First of all they answered the phone when I called their company and then immediately scheduled an estimate at our home at no charge Unlike the competition. Memo did a great job on the estimate he was on time, he was clear explained all the details and there was no pressure to make a decision on the spot. We were so impressed with him. We canceled our other estimate and agreed to have them do the replacement. One of the unique and great things about Apollo is that they are the manufacturer and the installer so there's no pass the buck if something happens later. We have a very large California room that we wanted to screen so that we can keep our stacking doors open without having to worry about bugs and mosquitos. We contacted many companies only to be told that the maximum size they can go is 25" and that we would have to install a post in the middle to make it work. HIS Clearview said that they have done 30" and getting a 33" opening like ours was possible by installing a support bracket in the middle to keep it from bowing. We got the screen installed and it perfectly fits what we were looking for. They did a great job on the install and the customer service has been first rate. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of the 8-shades HIS Clear View has installed for us. It has created a much more usable space out of our California room / lanai area. The shades keep the dust down to a minimum, they help retain heat when we're heating the outdoor space in the winter, and they prevent the west facing room from getting beat down by the sun in the summer. Installation was smooth as silk largely due to the crew working so well together. They were very mindful of the house, had good spatial awareness, and the area they worked in keeping the impact to a minimum and cleaning up nicely after they were completed. Memo, Angel, Pablo, Jose, and German, are all great guys, and did a fantastic job. The electrician they sub to, knew the crew, and they coordinated and worked very well together. They did a great job hiding the wires, as there are no visible wires showing or unsightly conduit to look at. We could not be more pleased with both Jose and Apollo Retractable Screen & Shade. We Have French doors leading out to our backyard. We have wanted to install a retractable screen for some time now. We sought out 3-4 different companies to request a quote and check out their products. All said, "we do not have anything to accommodate this type of door. If you want to install a retractable screen you will have to replace the French doors." We really love our French doors so decided to just wait and make do with what we have. Fast forward to the Anaheim Home and Garden Show 2024. We went to just look around. We saw a the Apollo Retractable Screen & Shade booth. Jose was representing at the booth. We shared our story and he said that he would be happy to come out and see what he could do. We scheduled an appointment with Jose. He came out, took a look, took another look, did some measurements, took out some samples and said that he could do it. Today was our delivery and install day. Jose was here maybe an hour and a half. He was professional, personable, explained how to use it and maintain it, went over the warranty and cleaned up after himself. We had dual screen door for our double front door from another manufacturer. It was a bit of a pain to use and it slammed open whenever someone tried to open it. We decided to give Clear View a try. Our double doors were within the single screen limit for width. So far the single screen is working well. Clear View is not the least exepensive but so far, we really are enjoying it. read more
