I made an appointment to get the battery replaced on my iPhone X, arrived 5 minutes early, then was made to wait for more than half an hour. What's the point of an appointment if the store is going to see walk-ins before you and make you wait more than half an hour? I was only seen when I finally flagged someone down and asked what the delay was. Otherwise who knows how long I'd be sitting there for. On top of that, I was told that it was "too late" to replace my battery that day, and to come back the next day. So, I make another trip to the store the next morning and wait around some more. Not wanting to waste another half an hour, I told an employee that I'm just here to drop off a repair, and I already had my appointment the day before. In an extremely patronizing, condescending tone like he's talking down to a child, the employee pointed at a chair and told me to wait my turn. Finally, after getting the new battery swapped in, there is barely any improvement. I hardly touched my phone all day and it's still at 50% by 4 pm. I still can't go through the day without needing to recharge. I'd say I gained an hour, maybe two at most, of extra use before needing recharging. A colossal waste of time and $70. This experience was worse than going to the DMV, because at least the chairs there have backs while you're waiting. Avoid this store like the plague (which is probably literally is, since there were multiple unmasked customers walking around). read more

We had an Apple product that needed help. We tried to handle it through their phone support but unfortunately needed in store service. We arrived a few minutes early for our appointment and were greeted with a very friendly individual at the door. He checked us in and asked us to patiently wait a few minutes. It was a very short wait before Sydney came over and started to work on our issue. She was great! Very patient and friendly and she made sure she completely understood our situation and how to handle it. She walked us through the entire process and had us on our way within 30 minutes! This is a perfect example of why we are loyal Apple family. They are not only great products but their staff is also incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Each staff member was very nice and helpful but the company's process is very stuffy. You're funneled through a series of steps to get you to the right "department" and asked to sit down.... And not move around. I get systems and processes can make the process more efficient, it just felt a little stiff. read more

I do not like the way that they are running the apple stores during the pandemic. Having to make an appointment and wait for days is annoying and a hassle. That being said, when I was finally able to get in and see them, they resolved my problem and were polite, That alone was the polar opposite of the experience I had at the Town Square Apple store the week before that necessitated my visit to this location. The experience with the Town Square store was so bad that Apple gave me a free set of Airpods to try and mitigate the horrific experience. The Apple store is my primary location that I visit when I need any assistance with help with any of our Apple products (Apple Watch, iPhones, and iPads). I have visited their other Las Vegas locations in Town Center and Fashion Show, when I couldn't squeeze in an appointment right away -- as this store stays busy the majority of the time. That being said, you can troubleshoot any issue remotely with Apple support and if that doesn't solve the issue, you can make an appointment for their 'Genius Bar' to receive hands-on assistance. On all my visits, I've received above average service here. However, like any Apple store, it can get extremely busy during peak hours/seasons with the service slowing down significantly. As for a recent example, we purchased a pair of AirPods this past weekend during the Christmas 2018 rush, and there was a hefty line to wait in (which was expected for the season and a Saturday afternoon). After a bit of confusion on who and where we exactly check out at, a helpful employee ushered us to the proper line and we were assisted with the checkout process within 15 minutes. Now, this is not too terrible of a waiting period, but it would be nice if the checkout process was a bit more smooth during this holiday rush. I've made a few appointments for in-store assistance here with our computers or iPhones. I am happy to report that the in-store employees here have all been very courteous, patience, timely, and helpful. I'm pleased with the service from this store. They've earned my repeat business. 7:35pm writing this review outside the store 5/19/22. So Sunday husband and I go in 30 mins before closing and purchase two cell phones and two Apple watches. Decided to go back and upgrade our son's cell phone on Monday. Literally 3 1/2 hours later had to purchase safekey for my children since I would be able to pick them up on time. They ended up locking the new phone and the original phone blamed it on the phone provider, the phone provider blamed it on Apple. it was a huge mess. Had to walk out with the original phone and wait to come back until the charges come off and the phone line is unlocked. Again came 30 minutes before closing time today 5/19/22. I walked in regarding an issue regarding an issue with a reoccurring issue with iMovie on my phone, the deeper I explained the situation the least confident I felt they would actually be of any assistance. After the frustration i experienced since purchasing my iPhone 15 pro max I was delighted to add on to it as Dylan (dill-in) a support/ iMovie expert supposedly, continuously made faces while i explained to him and another associate (james i believe ) as if what i was saying wasn't true or was a lye. I needed an item from the store stat, I highly recommend the pick up in store if that is an option. I placed the order late at night the previous day and it was ready the next morning for pick up. I got the email saying to come and get the item. Parking can be a little tricky and the area itself can be pretty crowded. If you're lucky you can find some spaces along the stores but otherwise it's the parking garage or lot. The front of the store has two designated lines the Genius Bar and the item pick up. The pick up line went pretty quick and they'll check you in. I'm not much time you are getting your item brought out and they just have to verify your order and bag it up. I ordered a series 6 watch for pickup on the same day and was told it would be ready between 12:15 - 12:30 pm at the Summerlin store. When I arrived at 12:20 I was told their order system was down and I couldn't pick it up even though I paid for it already unless I purchased it again in the store, and canceled my online order at a later day. Hmmm it's a $500 order mind you. Their solution? buy another one in the store and cancel my order I placed later because they couldn't cancel it because their system was down? So to get my watch I just need to tie up my card and spend a $1,000? Haha great customer service! I asked when I could get my watch and they didn't know, an hour? 2 hour? A day? A month? Next year? I spent 3 hours at the Apple store. Sadly I wasn't shopping. Although I did see robots, drones and all manner of exciting digital toys to explore, alas my work computer was the order of the day. My Mac Mini was slow as molasses. I do graphic design and that means I use the Creative Cloud suite daily. That is a substantial group of programs that take up a bunch of space. After trouble shooting on the phone for an hour an appointment was made for me to visit the store. It was determined there was no software issue as my system was removed and reinstalled. They could not find any hardware issues, but said I could leave it for a 48 hour check. The prognosis seemed to be a requirement for RAM. The store was very clean and appointments were required. You check in with one of the staff who has a tablet and stands in the middle of the store. They wear casual pants or jeans and a blue apple shirt with a small logo on it. At first glance, it was hard to tell workers from customers. From there, if you have a computer issue, you are relegated to the back long wood table with matching wood stools. Since I was there for three hours I was grateful they had a bathroom for me to use. This also was very clean. I think Apple takes cleanliness very seriously. I like that. The girl who helped me told me her name a couple times, but for the life of me, I can't remember. She was petite with dark hair, dark eyes and glasses. She was kind, soft spoken and put me at ease. She stayed by my side for the bulk of the time I was there. It's a stressful time when your tech doesn't work. She was comforting. Currently my computer is undergoing the 48 hour hardware check. 1 Have a IPhone and several IPhone 13's. The software on my IPhone was malfunctioning. It was still under warranty. I went in to explain the problem to the representative, whoo looked at the phone and said he would be right back. He sent a guy over by the name of Joshua, who said he was the manager of the genius bar. I explained what the phone was doing and he said there was noting he could do, even though it was still under warranty. This guy was no genius, and had zero customer service skills. My boyfriend and I were at store from noon to 9pm when store closed. None of the managers or staff were able to help transfer files from my iPhone 7 plus to new 11pro max. At the end of the day they had to return my transaction for the new phone that I purchased. In addition, they up-charged me 2.99 then 9.99 for iCloud, but that wasn't a sufficient solution and ended up not working. Store staff ended up blaming us for not making a backup on iTunes in advance. Apple switched tines services and this wasn't a proper solution at the time and in the past wasn't necessary because they used app to transfer files on new device when you go in the store to upgrade to a new phone. The customer experience was also poor. They talked to me like I was a child. I've been a quality customer who has spent money on personal iWatch, iPhone, iMac, also the new iMac 2017 for the office, and a laptop. From one of very few experiences I had with Apple store, it was horrible, to feel helpless and to be treated unkindly. Ultimately, I bought the new phone yesterday at the apple store in the Fashion Show Mall (a different store). I made a backup myself as a solution, The customer experience was not a pain like the store experience on Saturday. The staff at the Fashion Show Mall were much more professional and capable. Overall, It is not appropriate for staff that are labeled as "Experts" or "Genius" to be clueless and blame customers as an excuse. Was very nice. Then suggested maybe go to the store so don't have to wait on the mail and the return. I went to the store in summerlin who would not honor what I was told. They told me they had a different process. I said customer service said they would email you in preparation. They said they saw the notes. I asked if I could see them and they said I couldn't since it's internal information. So I went home and called back support. They were a little surprised by the story and apologetic. They filed a complaint and didn't understand and confirmed my information as well as the notes in the system. Emily - if you're reading can you follow up and explain why corporate confirmed my information and said the notes were in the system? They said they really don't understand why the store wasn't on the same page. So - after talking with support again I went back up to the store. Emily apologized that support gave me bad information and noted that they must not know how the stores operate. I asked her if she could put that in writing. She said she'd be happy to provide me with Apple policy. I said, no, could you put in writing what you said that Apple support gave me bad information and that they don't know how the stores operate. She looked defensive and said she would not put that in writing. We'll duh. Of course you wouldn't. How dare you tell me they're giving bad information. Located in downtown Summerlin, this is one of Apple's best locations in town. Always busy, so expect to wait an average of 30 minutes from my experience. But the associates are very helpful. I'm from a generation that paid its first cellphones around 100 bucks, so I still can't believe we're paying $800+ for cellphones nowadays, and I find their products pretty pricey generally speaking, but the quality is great.
