I have never had bad service at a restaurant like Applebees, our server named yessica only checked on us twice the whole entire time, drinks came out normal time and appetizer. But when it came time for our actual meal we weren't checked on to be ready to order at all so we had to use the little tablet to order which still didn't even get our food because our server didn't even check on us, the table of four next to us that got sat 20 minutes after we did even got every single meal drink and appetizer they ordered, but we still didn't get anything. The food was alright. The music was wayyyy too loud. It was actually very annoying and ruined the food for me.

We had steak dinners there yesterday. I highly recommend going and asking for Mycal as your server. He was working in the bar area when we were there. He did a fantastic job helping us. He was genuine, kind, funny and respectful. Our order was taken immediately and he checked on us several times. When the steaks came out he stayed table side and asked that we make sure they were cooked to perfection.... They were. You just don't see customer service like this anymore, he was exceptional. I made sure to let the manager know. Mycal has a bright future, he is a real people person. Thanks Applebees for hiring great staff like him, he made our meal one to remember. read more

Since the pandemic started a few years ago I have only been doing takeout here. Still love the ribs and hamburger that they serve here. The service on takeout is great. I don't remember the service for eating in as being that great. Everything is wrapped well and you don't go home with a soggy bag of... Tried something new tonight... the bourbon grilled chicken and shrimp. Great concept... its cool that it comes out smoking on a hot plate. But then you start smelling a burned smell, your table is cloudy with smoke, the neighboring tables give you that half turn to indicate you are disturbing them... then by the time you can safely go into the hot plate for a bite, your potatoes are straight up burned and the onions are getting there too. It tasted great... but let's lose the flair of the hot plate and serve good food over sizzling charred potatoes. My server was super friendly.... ok and before I even said anything or posted this she just came and told me she was bringing new potatoes since these look burned. My husband and I have enjoyed going to Applebee's in Moreno Valley for several years and have been satisfied with the food and service there. However, last night I placed an order to have picked up. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I ordered the full rack of ribs for my husband with coleslaw and the Riblets basket for myself. He received maybe one tablespoon of slaw. I received one small strip of the Riblets! I would've thought 2 strips would be the correct portion. Whenever we've eaten inside the restaurant the portions have been much larger. I'm sorry but for a meal that was almost $40 I feel it just should have been better! Plus I paid extra to get an order of onion rings instead of fries and received 5 onion rings! I'm so disappointed with Applebee's that we will no longer be ordering from there nor will we eat there again! Such a big disappointment because the bbq is good. read more

Came to Applebee's for their endless chicken tenders and riblets. They were both surprisingly good. We also got a blue moon. The chicken tenders were very crispy and they tasted fresh. They came with a lot of different sauces including: BBQ, honey mustard and ranch. The honey mustard was my favorite of the 3. The riblets were not as good as the chicken tenders but still pretty flavorful. The fries added a good balance of carbs. Good service and friendly environment read more

You could never go wrong at Applebee's. There are happy hour, Wong tong, tacos, fries, and Senator drinks like their margaritas and Long Island, It never fails. I also love their hours and that they do not close until after midnight. read more

I have been two this Applebee's twice to get drinks and I havn't had an issue with this location at all! We went in for Halloween, too and the service was great, food was great and the drinks were cheap and amazing! I absolutely love their drink specials and I cannot get over how good they make them at this location. All of the servers here are super attentive and every time I have been here they always try to make my experience the best that they can. I haven't had dinner here so I can't say much for the other dinner foods, but the appetizers and the drinks are a must have for a student on a budget not looking to go pay $15 for a drink at a bar. For $15 here you can get 4 $6 drinks or even 15 $1 specials! What a deal! read more

On Mother's Day my children decided to buy me dinner and have it delivered through Applebees website directly. First off they tried to add on a 20% tip (I gave tip to driver in cash) secondly when our food arrived it was cold (we're maybe 4 miles from the restaurant) however after unpacking our food, things were missing, a Caesar salad and fries. When my hubby called Applebees to notify them, they said they couldn't redeliver missing items and they would email a $15.00 credit, which I told my hubby he'd never get. I've dealt with 3rd party delivery companies and have had trouble with missing items but didn't think going directly through the restaurant would be a problem. How do you not check the orders before they're sent out for delivery? Are customers just chumps and we don't deserve to get ALL the items we pay for. I guess that's what they expect is to accept what we receive in the delivery and not get everything we've ordered. The Caesar salad and fries were all my child wanted for dinner so we had to scramble and share our food with him so he could eat. If I could give a zero star I would but since a one star is the lowest I could go, this is my rating. read more

Staff doesn't know how to treat customers when they're short-staffed. 3/4th of tables were empty at 4 pm, but we were told that it's a 15-minute wait. (We only had an hour before an appt). First we were told that tall tables in bar were okay to use, but then they said they weren't available, although empty. Not at all apologetic for their customers' inconvenience - it was a take it or leave attitude. We walked out. After several years patronizing this location, we won't return. This was not an isolated incident; rather a recurrent problem at this particular (nearest) location. I will keep this review simple & short the point . I stopped by last night with my friends from work . The restaurant was fairly busy for a Friday night ... and it being Mother's Day weekend . I've posted photos of the bathrooms looking a tad disgusting. I'm uncertain to see a corporate franchise restaurant.. looking this disgusting. Most plumbing companies have 24/7 assistance. To walk into the bathroom poorly kept up with little to no toilet paper , no toilet seat covers and minimal soap in their dispenser is more than gross. I did in infirm the front host but they were too busy nose deep on their phones & gossip conversations with their other employees. By the looks of the bathrooms it looks like no one hasn't checked every hour like it should . I will never come back here to dine in or order take out especially if the bathrooms look like this I wonder what other protocol they Don't Follow.This was on Friday night on 5/10/19 7-10pm . For those that want to leave a comment in response to my review .. to retaliate.. don't make me contact your General Manager to your specific location in Moreno Valley . I'm not utterly in shock tbh .. I couldn't expect much from the hostess if they have failed to check the bathroom hourly versus being nose deep in your conversation than making sure all the patrons had a clean bathroom. They're always so patient and understanding, I love it here! 2 for 20 can't be beat. I've visited here when it was indoor and outdoor dining and both are just as fine. Only thing I'd be sure to bring a coat if it's a cold night as there aren't any heaters. They have music playing outside to warm up the atmosphere, which is great. They are very accurate on wait times in terms of food and seating, so you won't be waiting in vain. Food is always hot and I've never had a problem with my orders. My go to Applebee's! read more

Where do you start when everything goes wrong from the beginning? There was a group of 4 of us and we hungry for we had just come back from snowboarding. The place was not busy at all, very manageable yet the waitress took forever to bring us our appetizers. I ordered their special, appetizer, entree, and desert for one price deal. The sizes were small, I guess thats the catch when you're ordering their specials. Anywho, my baby back ribs were dry and tough to eat. Not expecting great ribs, but at least something thats my knife won't even cut =\ then our desert was in a shooter cup. The waitress mixed up my order and came out without my sides, then came out with two extras of my sides after I had finished my meal and was not hungry for it anymore. They never refilled our drinks and their service was horrible. Not going to dine here again. Well unless you want super slow service and bad food ... then be my guest. This still has to be one of my favorite Applebee's around. They are a very high volume location. The staff is great and their house IPA is hard to find. As a tip for you beer drinkers, get the smaller glass vs the bigger one. A full small glass is the same as a big glass with the amount of head they pour. You will thank me. :-) read more
