My husband and I have been to this Applebee's a few times over the years. First, the help has always been friendly, helpful, and attentive. The prices are reasonable, for today's restaurant offerings. It seems clean. Now, for my meal experience I try to get something that has to be cooked or prepared when I order it, meaning not with a sauce warmed up to be served. I never get a salad as it doesn't have to be cooked. I have had food poisoning there a couple of times as I think either the food has been prepared too far in advance, not stored properly temperature wise, or cooked until hot. I am too old now to be put through the "24 hour" bug I get sometimes after eating there. I think all in all it's a good place but be careful and think before you order. read more

Horrible food. Good service. The server we had was great, polite, funny, attentive to our table. At first everything started off well; 20 minutes into ordering and we hadn't even received our appetizers yet we started to worry. Then 30 minutes went by finally the boneless Asian chili wings come, some hot, some cold, extremely breaded and crunchy; was there any chicken in these things? We were told the chef was busy but there was barely 1/5 of the restaurant filled. 1 hour goes by and we finally receive our food, mediocre to say the least. Poorly prepared, 1 dish at a time was delivered person by person until 7 minutes later we finally all had our meals (4 of us). We spoke to a manager who was unapologetic and was going to "take a look at our bill". We didn't ask for that, we asked for an explanation of what took so long and why it was so ill prepared... I wish I could give this place a ZERO. They discriminate! Plain and simple! You can't access the restaurant if you are a wheelchair user or if you push a baby carriage because they blocked off the ramp with barriers for outdoor dining. They won't let you sit outdoors if you use a wheelchair or push a baby carriage because they claim it's not allowed and there's not enough room for everyone else. They won't let you in to the restaurant if you use a wheel chair or push a baby carriage because 'the wheels carry bacteria'. (but probably not the bottom of your shoes). Won't ever be visiting the Nashua restaurant or any other Applebees again. Best to visit Bertucci's across the street. They did not have a problem at all! read more

I wanted two for 20 had looked @ menu on my Mobile and knew exactly what I wanted taco burger & chicken fiesta will when I got there hostess told me they don't have two for 20 but not what it said online. I had told hostess what i wanted and I couldn't get fiesta burger it says I can online. Waiter came up to us and said he would ask mgr on dirty if I could get what I wanted and it was a No! Ordered a car side to go today for myself and a co worker. When I got back to work and opened the bag, I realized everything was in it sideways so all the pasta sauce leaked out, and the buffalo chicken sauce was also leaked out. There were no utensils for either pasta dish. Wanted to give car side to go a shot. Huge mistake. Chicken tasted super processed. The service started off good up to the point of the delivery of our food. We ordered an appetizer and it was never delivered. We asked the waitress about it and she said it would be here shortly. Well, our main course came but the appetizer never did. The food was good but the service we got was very unappreciated. We were in town for a commencement event and did not feel welcome at this location. Everyone one else was receiving good service. I don't like to use this but maybe it was because we were a mixed couple. Who knows, I just know the service was not good toward us. The service from our waiter was not the problem. Overhearing the bartender complain about the newest $1 margarita promotion was very uncomfortable. His constant complaints and remarks were the reason we stopped ordering them. We weren't even at the bar and could hear him tell the customers that he wanted to walk out because of how "stupid" this promotion was. I can't imagine being at the bar and wanting a margarita and knowing you can't order it. I'm sure it is a lot of work to make the margaritas but that's no reason for his unprofessional behavior. Lunch on !2-03-18, Honey Chicken Tenders with French Onion Soup. The tenders comes with plenty of fries. it was all served in a timely manner. The Tenders were sweet & cooked just right , fries hot & crispy , well seasoned but not to much. The French Onion Soup is one of my favorites with the lunch menu, though not the best I've had, it's ok for a quick bite. The server was OK, nothing special. The price is fair. read more

Lately when I place an order on a Saturday night for takeout, it's been really bad. I place my order through their website at around 9:15pm, 9:30pm for a 10:00pm pickup. Nothing too complicated, just a couple orders of pretzels. When I arrive, I go directly to the bar for pickup, where I am ignored for 10 minutes, and every wait staff avoids eye contact and me saying "excuse me." The nail in the takeout coffin happened yesterday. I placed my usual pretzel order at 9:00pm for a 9:45 pickup. I arrived at 9:50pm. This time only ignored for 5 minutes, to be told "sorry, we are out of the pretzels and 90% of our appetizers, we tried calling you." I look down at my phone, they did indeed try calling me, at 9:55pm as I am standing there! They had 50 minutes to let me know they were out of something and they waited until I arrived to let me know. I just left with no apology from anyone. Waste of time. read more

My last two visits to an Applebees were horrible. The most recent visit (Nashua location) prompted me to write this review and I'm not surprised to see others who feel the same way I do. I came in one night with a friend and we were placed at a booth right near the entrance. For those of you who don't know what winters are like in New England, it consisted of a freezing draft coming in whenever a customer entered/exited the restaurant. The heating vent was located right above our table so it was like the cold draft coming in mixed with incredible warmth from above. Body was confused and I didn't like it. Our food came and it was cold, like it had been sitting on the shelf for some time. Waitress also forgot to refill my soda, making me have to get up and ask another waitress. All in all a piss-poor experience and given the existence of Uno's, Chilis, Ruby Tuesday, and TGI Friday all on the same street, I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

The worst Applebee's experience in a while. The meal came out wrong. Twice we mentioned things to the server, who went to the manager, who sent back a message that "that's the way it always is". Like many people, we have certain things we always order, this was simply wrong. Wrong seasoning, wrong veg. Wrong cook. If they made a mistake, just fix it. Been sitting here about 20 minutes for the manager who is talking to people at the bar. Note: we paid not trying to get a Free meal! Not sure what the point is of reviewing a chain restaurant like this, but I used to like Applebee's--not this one! Went there on a Sunday afternoon with my Mom--just horrid. I had the salad with chicken, bleu cheese, apples, candied walnuts, etc. The lettuce was limp, the walnuts were stale, the bleu cheese less than plentiful, and they totally forgot the apples all together. When I asked the waiter for them, he brought out a little cup of scarcely chopped apples in soaking in water--yuck. The molten lava cake was good, but the nachoes that came with the spinach artichoke dip were very greasy. I picture the cook as being some burned out alcoholic or 20-year-old with no inspiration at all. Pretty much turned me off the whole chain--too bad! read more

Cosistent franchise chain. I usually get the sirloin which In the past ten years has always been good. Tried a hamburger once and it was dry. Spinach dip appetizer is a good start. The only two positives about today's lunch were that they happened to be open on Easter Sunday and so far no-one has food poisoning yet. I hadn't been back here in a couple of years and they were happy to remind me as to why. Why my daughter selected this place for lunch today remains a mystery, because this Applebees definitely never fails to disappoint. We got what is at best mediocre food, at prices which they certainly do not merit. The server also fails to mention that swapping out standard sides two alternatives will result in an upcharge for each serving. For each of three swopped out "sides" there was an upcharge of $1.59 which will get you approximately an ounce and a half of grilled zucchini and the some grilled peppers which we had asked to have excluded in the first place. In total about 4 ounces of grilled zucchini for an additional $4.77 plus tax on the bill. So if you really are looking for chain restaurant type of fare, give this dive a wide berth and head instead to any of several other much better options in the area (Texas Roadhouse, Bertucci's, or even Uno's) all of which have much better meal selections and quality AND at better prices so you win on both sides of that equation. I submitted a order online. I want to pick up my order. The associate at the door asked my name and went to see about my order. I waited for 10- 15mins for the order to come out. During this time other patrons cane in to retrieve their orders. People came in after me and received their orders. I am a african American woman and had to wait to get my order meanwhile all the other customers got their orders with no questions. When I finally got my order I was asked to show proof that I paid for my order. No other persons were asked to do this. I later found out that it was the shift manager named Eddie who made me feel as if I was stealing a meal when clearly my name was on the order and it have him my name 3 times. I feel that was racist and it made a complaint. I never left the lot. Only to get more degraded by the district manager of that location and corporate manager by the name of Dan Cicchetti. Thet made a bunch of excuses for that behavior. Which neither partners were present or witnessed the actions of said manager Eddie. It its disgusting as a African American woman as well as a customer to be treated in the manner in which I was there was no apology given there was not one alternative to be given. We as African Americans have struggled to be treated equally. So I hope this is a open forum to say if there us no sympathy or even empathy for the way that I felt or the way that I was treated in this restaurant that we continue to post these actions and maybe feel we have a voice and I hope that they feel shamed by the actions of their manager and which this is a representative of their country not only the manager but also the district manager as well as the corporate manager because I have no resolution to this matter so yes I will continue to post these things until I feel as if that they will understand that I will not tolerate racism in the year 2021 and going forward! read more
