A police officer dropped me off here when I was in a car accident and had to wait 3 hours for a friend to drive down and pick me up. Beth, the hostess, was very sweet and concerned. Adam, the server, was also friendly and kept checking on me even though it initially didn't seem as though I was hungry. For Father's Day my Dad's choice was Applebee's this year. It was busy when we arrived as expected. We waited for short period for a booth along the window. Not that their is a view cause their is not, we would be just looking at the McDonalds next door but we like booths. Our party opted for the 2 for $20.00 deal that includes 2 entrees and 1 appetizer to share. We ordered 2 of the 3 cheese Mac and Cheese with the mozzarella sticks for our side and Dad & Mom ordered the Fiesta Chicken and two salads. The food was prompt, but we sent back the two Mac and Cheeses as they came out cold. The Fiesta Chicken was ok except, what is with all the colored tortilla chips all over the plate. THE WORST SERVER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I had just gotten out of the hospital. I had no makeup on, hair was disheveled, and was still not feeling very well. My husband and I were hungry after a long evening in the ER however, so we stopped by on the way home for a bite. Dinner was okay; some Happy Hour and a burger. I got up to use the restroom at the end of our meal and came back to the table to find a server (who was not our original server) obviously irritating my husband. I asked what was going on. My husband just kept saying to the guy, "Seriously dude, just go away". I asked what was happening and the idiot server replies laughing, "I'll just be honest here, I thought you were his mom". WTF?!? My jaw was literally dropped. My husband then says, "Seriously. You need to go now", to the guy, but he sticks around hurling more insults! The server says to my husband, "You must dye your hair then. Right? Do you dye your hair? I'm just being honest here, guys age way better than women, am I right?" As if he was expecting a high-five from my husband! I immediately walked out. I just can't even wrap my brain around how such an idiot can get hired for a place like that, let alone, who the hell his own mother was that raised him. Still in shock and really angry. This place has the worst service of any Applebee's I've ever been too. I was told the wait would be about 45 minutes and they would call me when it was my turn. I waited for over 45 minutes and finally decided to go home. They never actually called me at all. A trash establishment with horrible customer service. I haven't really had a bad experience at an Applebee's but this Applebee's in particular is wonderful. The bartender Jeff was snarky and hilarious, we loved him. To top it off it off the manager, Mary, was magnificent, we didn't have any issues mind you, she came over as we wanted to compliment Jeff and she was lovely and funny. Besides the mediocre food. The servers here are SO awful. My water was never refilled once. An older gentleman sitting by himself behind me was greeted by a supervisor who apologized that no one had came and taken his order or given him any water and that someone would be by right away. Obviously I was not able to dine inside due to the COVID pandemic so I ordered curbside. I ordered a burger with Swiss cheese and boneless Buffalo wings. First things first, the Buffalo wings actually weren't that bad. I liked how they weren't too saucy or messy yet the wings were completely covered in the sauce. I feel like the wings had just the right amount of Buffalo sauce. There was one wing that tasted chewy and felt like chewing on rubber but the rest were okay. Not even near as good as Buffalo Wild Wing's boneless wings but for a place that doesn't even specialize in wings, they weren't bad. I don't think they were worth $11 with the portion they gave me but they were still adequate. Unfortunately, things got worse once I finished my appetizer. The fries were not even very good like at all! They were thin, greasy and soggy. They did have pepper on them which helps but still not enough to make them decent. I wouldn't even say that they were as good as McDonalds or Burger King fries. From an actual restaurant having fries that aren't even as good as McDonald's, that's a damn shame. Then last but certainly least, the burger. I don't know if it's because I just had Red Robin yesterday which is so much better than Applebee's to a point where it's not even comparable, but the burger wasn't that great either. I did ask for no pink in my burger but the patty was way too chewy and had horrible texture. I know that I asked for it to be more well done but I also ordered no pink on my burger at Red Robin just yesterday and theirs wasn't like the one I just had from Applebee's. The bun was grilled but also didn't taste very fresh either. Overall, I've had better burgers and fries from fast food chains which also happen to be way cheaper. I wouldn't recommend Applebee's when there are so many other chain restaurants in the area that are also way better. This was some of the WORST service I've ever had. A few friends and I went to Applebee's to grab a bite to eat. Tiffany, who, I might add, is ALWAYS rude, was extremely rude and unprofessional the entire time of service. This time I could not let it go. When we arrived she asked if she could get us anything, we all got a beverage and some waters. My friend Becky had asked if it was possible to get a straw. Tiffany had placed straws on the table behind some glasses of water. The straws weren't visible to Becky. Tiffany picked up some straws and LITERALLY threw them at Becky. Are you kidding me?! About 10 minutes later, Tiffany came back. She'd asked if we were ready to order. I was starving. We'd all just played a soccer game at the indoor arena down the street. I told her I was ready to order and she said "well do you want to wait for your two friends?" I told her no, they were down the street, and everyone was ordering something different, I.e. appetizers, entree, drinks, etc. She said, ok I'll wait for your friends. I had told her again, no, I was ready to order. She walked away and didn't come back for another ten minutes. Seriously?! When she came back she asked if we needed anything, I told her I wanted to place my order, like I had wanted to do so 10 minutes prior. She finally took our orders. My friends dad ordered one of the $1 drinks, when she got to him to take his order he stated he wasn't hungry and was ok with just a drink. She passive-aggressively and condescendingly said "oh you're fine with your $1 drink?!" What. A. Bitch. I spoke with Ashley, another server there who I love, she got the GM for me. He came out and half heartedly listened to our complaints, told us we could get a different server, and a different server never came. My friend graham ordered a drink. His drink was empty for 15 minutes before she asked if he'd like another. 30 minutes after that, a drink finally came out. Later she cleared everyone's dishes except for mine and a couple other peoples. This was the worst service I've ever received. Tiffany is the rudest person I've ever dealt with. I'm not sure how she's in the service industry. Needless to say she was tipped nothing from everyone at our table. Tips are only customary in America. They aren't typically given in other countries. And in Washington servers Aden paid at least minimum wage. If you want a tip, earn it. I don't just give money away. She acts like she's above everyone else. Went to Applebees about 9pm to enjoy some dessert with my mom & Grandma. Our waiter Steven was great, very attentive and warming. Ordered the Blondie for myself because of Stevens recommendation of it. It took a bit longer to be served than I would have expected for just 3 desserts. But the food was delicious, the Blondie was served on a heated plate, and the cream cheese sauce that came with it was on point. This is my third time ordering food online. The process went smoothly. I enjoyed everything I ordered. Their Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp is so tasty, tender and satisfying! We ( three of us in the party) ordered drinks and appatizer to start with which came fairly quickly and the manager even came out and asked how our appatizer was. When my food came out it was lukewarm, chicken was tough and dry and cheese was not melted, I ordered the caprese chicken and mashed potatos. I could not find out waitress so i went up to another one and told her i would like something else, she was very nice and said she would let my waitress know. I did not see my waitress until she brought out my new order, which in my opinion working in customer service before is poor mannerism and found it strange the manager would come to see how my app was but when I had an actual problem he seemed to avoid it even coming by our table and not saying anything. Lastly my boyfriend ordered the mac n cheese with some chicken tenders on top. It was hot and delicious but as he took one of the last bites he found a hair under the pasta... They get 2 stars because their waitress was very nice and accommodating. Drinks came the lemonade was so weak we would have better off getting water with a slice of lemon. We ordered 3 appetizers but with no plates to put them on. I ordered the fish and chips with malt vinegar. The side of coleslaw was completely dry and had no dressing. Just cabbage and carrots. The 3 piece fish and fries were good and the fish was a cod.The malt vinegar came in a packet. There was ample tarter sauce to dip the fries. So a 3 piece cod fish and chips was $13. and change, a good price if everything was satisfactory and there weren't so many other downfalls. Delayed review but during the last great ice snow storm and after mess this past winter the wife and I stopped after I arrived from out of town for dinner when no other restaurants we're really open. Obviously difficult to get a table right away but that was no big deal. They were short-staffed however service was still good but they had forgotten to give me my baked potato with my steak dinner. I wasn't really complaining but the waitress said something to the manager anyways. The manager gave us our dinners for free which was more than extremely generous given the circumstances of that evening. They deserve 5-stars just for that one night and that gesture. Never again will I Abuse delivery! It cost me $30.00 extra to receive a $29. Order! My first order with GrubHub was disastrous was for almost $100 it took an hour for the food to get to us it was Chinese so it was cold the sauce boxes and food had broke open, the driver brings the bags to the front door just dripping sauce is all over my porch. The food got tossed So I get a 50% Discount on next order. Next order comes to 58.72 I was given a discount of 29.36 so order was actually $30 then they charge $4.49 for delivery Tax came to 4.90 but they charge me over six dollars instead and the kicker is it eight dollars for service fee... 50% for me to cover operating cost for GrubHub. Drivers do not get the delivery fee they get the tip that I include what the heck should I pay eight dollars for the operating cost, obviously never doing this again...pizza delivery is free direct. Applebee order was quite good for 2 of the meals although missing mashed potatoes and my ribs had one half excellent but 2nd a bit dry...Potatoes and slaw very good. My daughter ordered a burger, which she took two bites of it and couldn't finish.
