I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove from Appliance Factory in Oct. 2014. I have had to have my refrigerator ice maker repaired 5 times in the past 4 years. On the 6th visit to fix the again broken icemaker, the tech from Brand Source said he had to order parts to repair it. When he came back, he then said it can't be fixed. He said he called the manufacturer, Frigidaire, to report that it could not be fixed. This rude rep said to me at one point nastily "are you going to stand there all afternoon to ask me questions, or can I get this done". I called Frigidaire to ask when my refrig will be repaired or replaced. They said it is out of their hands because I had an extended warranty thru Appliance Factory with Product Protection Plus and I wasn't covered because my warranty with them expired. I got Product Protection plus phone number but all you get is their voicemail. I called 4 times, and they never called me back. I called Appliance Factory Outlet and they said to call Brand Source and get proof that my refrig was a lemon and then Appliance Factory will replace my refrig. I called Brand Source and they said there is nothing they can do at that point. I called Appliance Factory back and spoke to their rep informing them what Brand Source told me. They then said I would have to wait for a Frigidaire rep to approve the replacement of my refrig which might take a couple of days. WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THIS AT THE BEGINNING OF MY FRANTIC CALLING???? I also called the Corporate Leadership President's hotline at Frigidaire, and all you get is voicemail and they don't return your phone call anyway! Not one person stepped out of the box to try and help me. I asked them to make the phone calls I needed to make and maybe they would get further then I did. Of course, that didn't happen. Update - we're now wondering if this place sold us used appliances. Since we purchased all new Samsung appliances from AF a year and half ago, I have had the microwave break down (thankfully under warranty), we have spent an additional $250 on the dishwasher for a piece that broke. With our piece of crap oven, I just spent an additional $300 cause the motor and fan went out, and BEST OF ALL our refrigerator. I bought the extended warranty which saved us because since buying it, I have run out of ice five times, had Brand Source who service their products out half a dozen times for the refrig alone. I am now in process of working with BS and the warranty company to actually get a replacement refrigerator since this appears to be a defective product. We will NEVER buy Samsung appliances ever again, and more then likely never step foot back in AF. read more

Stay away! The manager was friendly until everything about our install went wrong. The dishwasher was delivered without parts delaying install for over another month. We then found a leak that caused thousands in damages to our floors and basement. The manager, installers and their insurance co would not call us back - the manager was deceptive about their relationship with the installers, and refused to give me his boss' number. His only response to our request to fix the issues was "That's water under the bridge" and "you can't return it now that you have taken possession." Our insurance is still fighting for their money for property damages (3 months later) I don't think they've gotten a response. read more

I purchased a GE refrigerator, induction cooktop, wall oven, and dishwasher from Appliance Factory & Mattress Kingdom on University Avenue in the summer of 2013. At the time I purchased a 10 year major components extended warranty for all four appliances. For reasons only the sales person knows I was written up on two separate invoices and I received two separate receipts; both receipts have a line item on them for the 10 year major components extended warranty. The receipt said nothing about only one component being under warranty and I was told all components were covered. Fast forward 4 1/2 years and the left two burners on the GE induction cooktop stopped working. I called BrandSource, the company Appliance Factory makes me use for repairs, to service the cooktop and told them I had a 10 year major component warranty for the cooktop. They sent a service technician out to repair the cooktop and said nothing about the warranty. When the service technician arrived he looked at the cooktop and said we didn't have a warranty and he charged us $65 and didn't even touch the cooktop. He also said even if we had a warranty that we wouldn't be covered because the main generator module that needs to be replaced isn't considered a major component. What? If the main generator module isn't a major component then what is? Fast forward a week and I went to the Appliance Factory & Mattress store that sold me the kitchen appliances and explained the situation. The store manager told me it looked like we should have a warranty, he didn't know why BrandSource wouldn't do the warranty work, and he was there to make sure I was taken care of properly. He gave me a phone number and told me to call their warranty department on Monday when they were open. On Monday I called the phone number and got a recording; six times. I then called Tuesday and got a recording twice so I finally left a message explaining the situation asking for them to call me back. Over a week later and they still haven't called me back. I then called the President's direct number listed on the Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet web site and got a recording stating the mailbox was full. I called back the next day and again got a recording. This time the mail box wasn't full and I was able to leave a message. Three days later I received a call from BrandSource and the person said I was under warranty for the refrigerator but not the cooktop. He also said that BrandSource the company had no affiliation with Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet and that I'd have to talk to Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet to get the warranty resolved. So, in summary, I purchased four appliances and was told I had a warranty on all four appliances. When one of them went out I was told the appliance that was faulty was not under warranty and the repairman charged me $65 for that information and he didn't even touch the cooktop. I was then told by the store manager to call a number that nobody answers. I was then told by BrandSource that it's not their problem and I should go back and talk to the store manager. Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet is not running an honest business. They say one thing but do another and then send you on a wild goose chase trying to get answers from phone numbers that nobody answers. Shame on you Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet. My money for future kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, and mattresses will be spent elsewhere. read more

Buyer BEWARE. If you do not purchase the extended warranty on your BRAND NEW appliance(s) - buyer beware. Appliance Factory and Mattress Kingdom will be more than happy to offer NO ASSISTANCE WHATSOEVER if you have an issue with your BRAND NEW appliance. I guess this is their way of saying "I told you so". Our brand new Maytag, out of the box, dryer had an issue. Rather than help me out the response was - "Did you purchase the extended warranty?", "No, we did not." "I'm sorry then, you'll have to call the manufacturer." Better customer service would have been to at the very least - apologize and then offer to schedule a service visit - since you know, it was out of the box and all. Something to note if you are considering shopping here and are reading those 5-star reviews. . . Notice that at the bottom of the reviews there is a disclaimer (interesting). Also, I posted this review on Yelp because I was not able to find anyplace to post on their website. Call me paranoid but it was almost (almost) like they don't want a negative review to slip into their 5-star ratings. After reading other reviews, I can see that Appliance Factory has a track record for this kind of customer support. My advice is that you choose a different place to purchase your appliances because the second you walk out that door - you're on your own. read more

This was the 2nd bad experience Ive had at the store in Englewood on So. Santa Fe Drive. Today, I picked out the refrigerator we wanted at the store. I told our salesman Ryan that I needed to go back to the house to take one more measurement before making the final purchase. About 20 minutes later I called Ryan and told him that's it's a go and let's finalize the paperwork over the phone. He said he would fill out everything and call me back for the credit card. I agreed. He never called back. After 45 minutes I called him back. I was on hold for 15 minutes waiting while he "was finishing up with another customer". When he came back on the phone he told me it had been sold. How was that possible I asked. He gave some lame excuse that someone from another store bought it. The first experience buying a washer/dryer happened to us at the same store about 3 months earlier. I went to Best Buy and found far better service and a better price. I recommend not dealing with this store. read more

Last year I purchased a washer and dryer from this store and had a great experience. We recently went back and purchased all new kitchen appliances and had an equally exceptional experience. Matt, our salesperson, bent over backwards to find us the best prices on the appliances that would meet our needs. This included a couple of "out of box" appliances that look perfect (slight defects that are not visible) and new ones. My wife and I went in looking for a dishwasher and ended up leaving with all new kitchen appliances. Don't let my first sentence scare you off. We found a great deal during the president's day sale and can't wait to get our brand new kitchen aid appliances in. They price match but I looked at several other places including Costco and home depot, and Appliance Outlet was less expensive. We had a very good experience with Tony and would highly recommend him. He was very friendly, knowledgeable (I had MANY questions for him), and didn't pressure us. Even after the sale, he has checked in on us to see how we are doing and if the delivery company called to schedule the delivery. Purchase a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher from Scott at the University and County Line location. He was much more helpful than the representatives at Sears and Home Depot. Scheduled installation the following week. Scott called shortly after purchase and said that they were out of the microwave. We agreed to have the other items installed as scheduled and the microwave installed when it came in. When they came to deliver, they only had the refrigerator and stove. The stove didn't fit correctly, still not sure if that was my fault or theirs ( I gave them the dimensions and spaces that I had available). They called 2 weeks later to schedule the dishwasher and microwave installation and I took that day off work. When they called the night before, to schedule the time of the installation, they said the microwave still was not in. I said we would wait until the microwave was in. That way I would not have to take another day off work. A few weeks later they called to say that the microwave was in. We scheduled installation and I took the day off from work. The installer called about 11:00 and said he was going to be running late and asked about rescheduling. I told him that I had taken my 3rd day off work to get these applicances installed and he said ok he would be there. He never showed. He never called. I called the store the next day. They scheduled installation for the following Saturday so that I would not have to take off work again. They called the night before to schedule installation between 12-2. My daughter called me at 10:30 the day of installation to say that they were there. They finally installed the microwave, but damaged the surrounding wall in the process. The installer acknowledged his mistake, but was rather rude about it. We documented the damage and he said they would come out to repair it. Several months of calls, visits and email brought no results to getting the repair done. When I disputed the charge on my credit card, they called and sent someone out within the week. Repair was done well and in under an hour. I have no idea how a business could be so good on the sales side, but so poor on the service side. Purchase process was great, but highly recommend never to consider having them install or deliver any item. read more

Fast talking salesman/manager sold me a dishwasher "out of the box" but FANTASTIC DEAL!! Didn't have one to show me, but it was a top of the line GE. Not. Feel like a fool for falling for that but I was going out of town in a couple days & wanted to have a working dishwasher for my house sitter. It was MUCH smaller than other dishwashers. The installer TAPED it in! Tried to get it returned, was told all they could do was install it properly. Set up appointment. Nobody showed. Called & they said there was no record of appointment. Emailed the "presidents line", got a call from the same salesman/manager that had scammed us to begin with!! The installers from Sears were trying not to laugh too hard today when they installed my new Kitchenaid dishwasher. I had been happy with the microwave I bought a week earlier at the store on Evans,(the salesman/manager at University store did tell me that they were the BETTER store, yeah, right) Will never shop there AGAIN!! read more

My husband and I hate shopping, let alone to replace broken appliances. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience at Appliance Factory in Centennial. Scott was very friendly and helpful, quick and not pushy at all. We found the fridge we wanted and they exceeded a competitor's price by 10%, saving us $300. They also gave a discount for active military service. This experience exceeded my expectations for our purchase and we will be returning for future appliances and even a future mattress because of it. read more

If I could give zero I would. Never in my life have I been treated the way I was by this store today. I am a 26 year old and sometimes people say I look 18. I went into this store to specifically buy a freezer. I was there to purchase something not just look and wander. Not once during the 20 minutes my boyfriend and I were standing around like a couple of fools did any store Member approach us and see what we needed. They all avoided us. In fact one such employee looked straight at me and the bee-lined it for a older couple to help them even though we had been in the store longer. The best part is one employees watched as my boyfriend and I moved seats in my car so that we could put items in the car and yet still was not given any help once inside. Unless you are over 45 or older or look like you are rich do not shop at this store. They may not be racist but they sure are ageist and definitely lost my business. read more

DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICED BY BRAND SOURCE. I give them 1 star because i feel like the warranty they sell through brand source is horrible. I have had to call twice to get my appliances serviced in the first 8 months and it has been nothing short of a joke. Brand source will give you the run around and it takes multiple calls and weeks to get things fixed. They have a single point of failure, by this the lady told me they have one tech per area or region so if that person calls in you're going to get bumped. It happened to me on Saturday and today (Monday). I agree with an earlier post on here I sometimes wonder if these are truly new or possibly their lightly blemished that I paid new prices for. I will never shop at appliance factory again and it's a shame that this happens after spending almost $7k on 4 appliances. I have had issues with three of the four so far and it's only been 8 months. read more

Do not walk away from this company RUN. We bought the Kitchen Aid 36" induction stovetop and 36" downdraft. We were replacing our 30" JenAir center downdraft with a rear downdraft and doing a kitchen remodel in the process. We could get very little information from the install people before it was delivered about what was needed for the install in terms of ductwork and connection. Needless to say when they came to deliver and install, they wanted to tear up my new floor and island AND charge me an additional $650, install fee on top of the $60 delivery. We opted to get a second opinion from our contractor and when we did was told nothing had to be torn up just different attachments to the ductwork. I called back to tell the manager they almost messed up my new floor and island for nothing that I could have picked up the cooktop myself if I had know their installation people were incompetent. The manager referred me to the installation manager, who I cannot get to call me back. Poor customer service and followe thru. Will never buy from these people again. read more

My husband and I purchased a GE Cafe dual fuel stove from Appliance Factory through the manager, Nate, at this location. Nate worked with us and gave us a good deal on this stove. We weren't quite ready for install and Nate agreed to store the stove till we were ready for delivery three weeks later. We've had a few issues with the product, mostly little issues that GE has resolved. Nate has maintained contact to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We were very happy with the initial sale and delivery. The delivery personnel were polite and efficient. We would definitely consider Appliance Factory and Nate for our next appliance purchase. read more

Easily the worst experience my wife and I have had yet. I had a salesman Ali at Appliance Factory. We came in asking about Tempur Mattresses. Having done my homework online I knew a little about different models and came in with the intent to buy. He continuously lied telling me what he thought I wanted to hear. After about 10 minutes I asked for a little time to talk with my wife. Despite his lack of knowledge I was ready to purchase. I turn around to grab Ali and find him greeting a new customer at the door. I was very offended by his prejudgement and lack of interest. The prices seem good on appliances, but I wouldn't even consider shopping there with Ali as my salesman. I found out from a friend that I could have saved $300 on the purchase something that was never mentioned to me. Horrible Customer Service skills. read more

The WORST buying experience. Anthony is your typical commission sales person, get your commission and forget the service after sale. All you get is 'we can't, we don't and we WON'T !" Totally inflexible and of no help with "delivery window" you PAY for delivery and you get NO say. If it were free I could understand flexibility on the buyers part. Nate the Store Manager is just as uncooperative and unwilling to help. My unit came with more scratches then when I purchased it and they would do nothing about it. They would not give any method to contact the District Manager and calling the "President's Hot Line" I got NO reply (5 days later and STILL NO REPLY) Customer Service is NOT part of their vocabulary. Took the day off for 4 kitchen appliances to be delivered. When the tuck didn't show on time I called to inquire why. the truck couldn't make it up the driveway because of ice. Rather then walk up the driveway to notify me the crew left without talking to me. they delivered to the store where I had to pick up the items. myself and the wife did what the so called driver couldn't do. Had them deliver the fridge on an different day DONT BUY ANYTHING UNLESS ITS NEW AND IN A BOX. Bought a fridge that was out of a box that was supposed in like new condition with zero dents. when the delivery truck came to the house the fridge had two dents in the side and one in the front. Also bought a microwave that was supposed to be delivered with the fridge. It got lost prob, sold was offered a different one that had dents, ARE YOU KIDDING ME. ......Nate (store manager) if your reading this your store has let me down .....I'm waiting for the replacement fridge that was supposed to be delivered today however the driver HAS NOT CALLED to set it up the time... another work day lost staying home on unprofessional drivers. Spent over $6000 at your store and looking back the savings doesn't equal the frustration. read more

We worked with Mary S., who was more than happy to sell my husband and me an entire suite of appliances (refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, and microwave). The day after the refrigerator was delivered, we noticed a defect--a warping in the frame on two of the lower drawers such that the glass inserts did not fit snugly into them. Mary's response (after two attempts to reach her) was, "Oh, well, it's just a minor cosmetic issue." She recommended calling the manufacturer after cautioning us that they'd likely charge a service fee to inspect the appliance--and then might not cover the problem, "since it is not mechanical." What about replacing the removable frames? "Oh, no, we can't do that. Your 'contract' is with the manufacturer." So, BUYER BEWARE. Once you complete a purchase with Appliance Factory, you are on your own. As an aside, we had the option of making our purchase elsewhere--and Sears even offered price-matching--but decided simply to complete the process we'd already begun with the Appliance Factory. Never again! Lowe's, Home Depot, and Sears all stand behind the products they sell. It was a huge disappointment to find that the Appliance Factory does not do so. Our advice is to go elsewhere. read more
