We bought an open box dryer from Appliance Factory in Thornton. They delivered it (4/16), hooked it up and it kept tripping our breakers. They set up an appointment for an electrician and took our old (still working) dryer. On 4/17, the electrician found all our electrical was fine (new house) but there is a short somewhere in the dryer. They wanted us to set up a repair appointment with their 3rd party repair company. It would be 3 weeks before they could repair it. I called the store twice on 4/16 to talk to the manager -Patty (left 2 messages) and she never returned a call. I also called their "president's line" on 4/16 for customers wanting help with issues. Again, called twice, 2 messages, no return call. Horrible customer service. We are guessing that this open box wasn't because of scratches (which we could not see) but more to the fact that it doesn't work. We called our original salesperson first thing this morning (4/17) stating we wanted another actual working dryer or our old dryer back. We are still waiting for a call back. Should have been a quick answer- "we are sorry we sold you a defective dryer and we will correct our error with an actual working dryer". My husband finally called Parker (salesperson on afternoon of 4/17) and he said they are going to call us Monday to refund our money and schedule a time to pick up the broken dryer. They didn't say anything about bringing back our dryer that they took. What we have done to try and remedy the situation: Contacted two local tv station consumer reporters to see if they can help. Submitted a review with the Thornton Chamber of Commerce. Disputed our credit card charge. Filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Emailed all of the information above to the store and CEO via Linkedin. Filed a complaint with the BBB. Today is 4/20. I received text messages from the repair company trying to come repair the dryer which is not an option and I have no idea who is trying to set this up. I called the store to let them know we are still waiting for someone to schedule a pickup of their dryer. I also sent an email. We still have not received any communication. Called Parker(salesperson) at 5:20 asking for a return call. Did not call. Called the President's Line at 6:07 - left a message that the defective dryer will be out in our driveway for them to pick up on 4/23/26 and we accept no responsibility for it. 4/21/26 Filed complaint with Business Consumer Alliance. 4/22 Received call from Kaden regarding my BBB complaint. 4/22 Received call from Jordan that dryer will be picked up between 3 and 5 on 4/23. 4/23 5:05 Called Jordan to see where they were. He stated the truck broke down, they weren't coming and that he had left a message (which he hadn't). 4/23 Left message for Kaden that pickup didn't happen. No communication from them at all. 4/28 - Notified the "President's Line" that I am giving them 48 hours notice to pick up the dryer or I will be donating it. Absolutely the worst service ever! No sales people had any gender knowledge of any product nor did they show any sense of urgency when I told them I was on a time crunch. Sold me a product with missing parts when I asked 5 times if it had all the parts they assured me. Then when it came to install they forgot to put me on the schedule and when I called and inquired they lied to me and said the truck broke down. The place that does the install said this never happened! PATTY is a scumbag who is the liar I was dealing with. No care for the customer or their issues. It is a real screw you attitude. Bought a GE refrigerator from the Indiana store. Two years old and stops working tech shows up looks at says it will have to be taken to Cincinnati OH for repair. After several attempts to get them to take care of it with no resolve. My patience gone because of losing two grandchildren in the last week I'm spent. I will be buying a new one and using this one to strap to my car trailer for advertisement of who not to do business with. Can you give zero stars?! Because that's what they deserve. Our three year old dishwasher started popping the gfci and had an electrical burning smell when running in a non gfci plug to test it. The first young man to come check for warranty was wonderful. Respective, thorough and found the problem. The second man who came to FIX it said, "I'm not getting down there and putting this new part in if I don't have to." So you know what he did? He had me get an extension cord, plugged it into a non gfi plug, said it was running fine and WE needed to change our plug to non gfci, WHICH IS NOT TO CODE. He went on about his arrest history and his nasty divorce with his wife, literally saying "people would kill over what she is doing to me" causing me to feel very uncomfortable. He refused to fix the dishwasher. Appliance Factory is no longer answering my husband's calls and is not returning any calls to remedy the situation. It's been at least 6 weeks since we started this warranty process. read more

We got it and and slipped it into place and hooked it all up. with in a month it stopped work. I would call and call no one would help me. I had to call GE to get someone to come look at it. So it was out of service for 2 weeks to get it fix there. Another month goes and it stops working again, again lots of call to appliance no cal backs and no help from them again. I can't express how disappointed I have been with the purchase and customer service I have received from this company. I bought a new refrigerator in December, and it was delivered Dec. 20. The refrigerator has not worked since the day it was put inside my home. I called to report this refrigerator did not work and they put in a service ticket. The following day, I called Frigidaire, their representative told me to call back the company where I purchased and ask for a return. (I was still in time frame to be able to return.) I called to do this but the salesman I spoke with told me I had a repair ticket and brushed me off for the return. (lesson learned) I stuck with my refrigerator and had brand source out in Early January. At that time, the refrigerator was not fixed. Electronic parts need to be ordered. (main board and another in the door) January 22, over a month since I purchased this refrigerator, the repair tech was out with the parts. After putting in two new electronic components, the refrigerator still did not work. The tech told me this was not repairable and would turn in his notes that evening with information about the lack of repair, and Factory Warehouse would call me Friday Jan. 23 to work on a replacement. I had to call and was told they did not have the notes yet from the technician. I called back on Saturday and was given the same information. Monday, Brand source called and told me to say they had to send another technician out to so they could call Frigidaire. That appointment was scheduled for Tuesday Jan. 27. That appointment was canceled by brand source. The phone calls have continued back to factory warehouse with no solution. Tuesday, Jan. 27, spoke to another sales person and was told he would work on a credit to get this moving and it would take at least 48 hrs. to go through corporate. I called again today, Jan. 29, and spoke to the same salesman as Tuesday and he was clueless to what he said to me then. I had to remind him about "lets get this going and get a credit," was what he told me. I felt as if we were moving in the right direction on Tuesday. I was wrong. I have stated more than once, "get me on the schedule for a new refrigerator, that's all I want!" Now, I just want my money back to go elsewhere. Brand source called today, Jan. 29 to tell me I'm now scheduled to have a technician out Feb. 5 to work with Frigidaire. This is the 8th week a product I paid for that STILL DOES NOT WORK! After every phone call, they tell me, "we will call you back." They have not once called back. I have been the only one to initiate a call. I get, "we have been so busy." Not my problem but I guess once you walk out the door and have given them your money there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Here is a response from THE CEO OF THE COMPANY from another review I saw that had poor customer service. Guess, the training has not been done to get a replacement out. We are appalled at your customer service. We have trained, coached, and counseled the sales team to make sure that anytime a customer has a problem like yours that the product is immediately replaced. We spent thousands with Appliance Factory--four appliances, delivery, installation, parts, and over $1,000 in warranties--and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions we could have made. Instead of peace of mind, we got damage to our brand-new home and a washing machine that sat useless for weeks. The repair wasn't complicated, but every appointment meant rearranging our lives and taking time off work--only for Appliance Factory to no-show, cancel last minute, and casually suggest "maybe tomorrow" like our time didn't matter. And as if that wasn't enough, less than a month after purchase, the dryer failed too. Very poor customer service. Washing machine was scheduled to arrive local store on Wednesday for delivery on Friday. It didn't arrive on Wednesday. Was rescheduled for later in the week. It didn't arrive later in the week. Received automated message saying delivery was scheduled between 2-4pm on Friday. Received call 10 minutes into the 2 hour delivery window, informing me that it had not arrived locally. Would have been very helpful to have been contacted when it was first known there was a potential delay. Would have been even more helpful to have known Friday when they knew it could not be delivered during the 2 hour delivery window. I was very disappointed they waited until we were in the 2 hour delivery window to be notified it had not yet arrived locally. Very poor customer service. read more

Bought a washer from here after ours was acting up, it took FOREVER to get delivered and when they did finally deliver it, they broke a part off the bottom and put it in the bin of the washer to hide it and never said a word about it. we tried to run our new washer and gallons upon gallons of water flooded the floor instantly as apparently the part they broke was essential in keeping the water in the tub. they made us wait another week with no pick up or replacement or refund before we finally begged them to let us go and pick up a washer from the warehouse so we could have some clean clothes. terrible customer service, delivery, and a horrible process overall. read more

within a half of each other, I bought three appliances from Appliance Factory on W. 84th Ave. I bought a refrigerator, I bought a slide in induction stove, and I bought a Maytag large capacity washing machine which immediately had error codes and wouldn't work. So they had to install a new control panel. That was six months ago and now I have a new error code and they're trying to charge me $159! This is the Maytag people of the original warranty. The biggest problem I had was my induction stove top went completely out. It took them three months to finally replace every control board for the stove to get everything to work. This was so unacceptable with warranty program. They encourage you to buy their warranty plan, and the company that comes out is called "better source". I could not believe they had one technician for basically a 100 mile area and would be in my area once a week. This guy was always sick or excuses so he couldn't make it and I had to reschedule. I am just absolutely furious with this company! They blow you off so do not buy. I'm now almost positive they take rejects from other companies and then fix them all up and sell them as new. read more

Do not purchase from this shady place!!! We ordered a microwave from the "new appliance area" but they delivered a used scratched one. I asked the installer to plug it in before install and it made a loud buzzing sound from an electrical problem so denied install. Then they installed a brand new dishwasher and managed to crush the entire back of the unit during installation. We didn't know until 2 days later when we got an error on the dishwasher. We called Appliance Factory who told us to call the manufacturer. We called the manufacturer who came out to inspect and they said "this unit is crushed in the back and this is why it's not working , it's leaking, who installed this? When I said Appliance Factory, he immediately gasped and was like ohhhhh - so clearly I knew he knew they were shady. He went on to explain he used to work there and all he did "all day long" was take appliances apart to put parts in other appliances. What a shame. :/ We had to reach out to the District Manager to get our money back. We had to uninstall the dishwasher ourselves and load it into our truck to return it. The salesman was rude and unprofessional once he found out we were returning the dishwasher. Overall pure crap experience. I even tipped the installer on Venmo. It is not about the brand. and You can not blame shipper for the oven which burns from the bottom and does not cook the top of the dish. This is a brand new oven and you can not offer a fix. I would rate this establishment ZERO if it were possible. This business uses the standard BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM method. They'll advertise these rock-bottom prices/ amazing deals on their website. Then when you order and get excited, they call you to tell you that they no longer have this unit in stock. I've tried it 3x with them with 3 different products and the same online department keeps calling stating they're OUT. You're dealing with a scam used car salesman operation at this place who sells JUNK. Better yet! We bought a washer and dryer from here and because we had no issues with the appliances went back when we needed a dishwasher. The dishwasher the sales associate recommended doesn't even properly wash the dishes. After waiting 3 weeks to have it delivered due to having to have the custom team come out (which we paid extra for) tonight I called their store and they don't do returns or exchanges so we are SOL with a dishwasher that doesn't even wash the dishes properly. They not only lost a good customer who would have returned time and time again, they've lost our recommendation. Don't waste your time, go somewhere. Update: I talked to our original sales person who was supposed to try to get an approval for us to return or exchange the dishwasher. After weeks of not hearing back I called the store and talked to another associate who said they've been "very busy" which apparently precludes people from following up or doing their job. She promised original sales associate would follow up within 30 minutes. Shocker, no one got back to us and tonight we left more messages and talked with yes another sales associate who said he would leave a message for the manager to call us but we aren't holding our breath. Was told that everything needed for the install would be delivered with the washer and dryer. There was no stacking kit. Been asking and asking for the kit and got nothing but the run around. The kit was lost, the kit has missing parts, the kit is broken and finally oh we need to order one. As of today February 22, 2018 Still no stacking kit. Not at all a happy camper. read more

Finally on Friday 2/15 I received a vm from a manager Todd. I called back and he wasn't there. On 2/20 at 10:18am I called again for manager Todd. He was out of the office so I spoke with other manager who said he would get back to me later that day. Surprise that didn't happen. Instead, now I have received a letter from their legal department threatening to sue me for 3x the price of the product. I strongly encourage you to stay far, far away from this business. I was ignored for over 30 minutes, I then waited in line for 15 more minutes and was ignored again. Nobody said a word. Be very careful while purchasing from this place. My parents bought appliances (dishwasher & Stove) only to find out they had missing parts once installers were set to install. Company & sales department refused to make it right after they wanted to make the return and request a Re-fund for appliances. Parents purchased the items with a sales rep in house on their website. So there is no way to verify your order is complete unless you take it apart and verify while picking up from the warehouse when it is ready for pick up.Everything is tightly sealed and wrapped so I suggest making them remove it and check all items in person with your sales rep. They were missing all of the burners for the stove. Dish washer had connector missing and standing water in the appliance still. Sticker price was maybe $100.00 difference from new at Home Depot. They were left with no option but to keep them. Unfortunately my parents will now have to make sure we are present for future purchases to avoid business such as these taking advantage of customers. read more

I would not recommend purchasing from this company. We purchased an extended warranty on our 2yo $4k LG refrigerator. It broke and it took the repair dept a WEEK to come out and look at it, and now our part is on back order and they are saying it won't be here for another 2-MONTHS. Absolutely unacceptable. We've lost hundreds of dollars in groceries and spent hundreds more eating out because a loss of refrigerator. Their repair dept customer service is not helpful or friendly. I purchased full kitchen set through this company. I had ordered installation for the items as well. When the items came, the installation had not been added to the ticket, so they scheduled installers to come out at a later date, which was not a problem. HOWEVER, weeks later, when the installers came, they came in a massive box truck to an urban downtown area, and told me that they couldn't do the installation because they couldn't find parking. They flooded 3 floors of our home when hooking up the new washer. It's been 4 months and they still haven't fixed the damage from the flood. The delivery manager Mike Vacca in Thornton has been awful and won't return our calls or emails. They are trying to cut corners and cheap out in any way that they can. We've gone up to the Parker store countless times and no one wants to help. And on top of all that, they delivered a stained mattress when it was supposed to be a brand new Sterns & Foster. Appliance prices here are good. But the price is not worth it in my opinion. I had a date scheduled to have a fridge, washer, and dryer to be delivered months in advance and still they screwed up the delivery date. I had to rent a U-Haul to pick up my purchases, otherwise I would have to wait another week passed the delivery date to put food in my fridge and wash my clothes because I just purchased a new build without those appliances. Then, to make things even better, when I finally brought the fridge home and got it all set up the water dispenser didn't work. So then I had to schedule a date for the repair man to come out and fix it. My opinion, don't buy from Appliance Factory. Wait for the holiday sales at Home Depot or Lowe's. read more
