They contracted with LG to repair my refrigerator that was still under warranty. Both Raphael and Eli showed up on 2 different dates saying they needed to order parts. This was before Thanksgiving on the 23rd. Parts were never ordered and they reported to LG that the repair was complete. It is December 9th. I think they scammed LG for work not performed. Eli was amazing - Fast, efficient, friendly and knowledgable, he quickly diagnosed our LG 'fridge compressor fail and left to go get the replacement - just outside in his van already! We very much appreciate that Eli was prepared in a way that expedited our LG back online, in service & cooling down sooner than expected. This place is CROOKED AS HELL. Whatever you do, do not use this company for any type of repair, especially Fridgedaire Dishwasher. They fixed ours and it lasted about a month and a half. Our LG fridge went out yesterday. I called LG and found out it was within the 5 year warranty. That was a pleasant surprise, and the customer service was professional and quick. the rep sent us to an authorized service provider named Appliance Healer Service and the owner Eli. He contacted us via text within 2 hours, set up an appointment for the next day and showed up on time the next morning. He diagnosed a bad compressor, had one on the truck, did the repair and was done in about an hour. Very friendly, professional and competent in his work. Our almost 10 year old LG refrigerator stopped cooling. After troubleshooting on the phone with LG to make sure it wasn't just stuck in Defrost mode, we determined a repair tech would be needed. LG had already sent us a list of 5 authorized repair companies in the area, and I had started checking reviews. So, when LG asked which company we wanted them to send the ticket to, Appliance Healer was the easy choice. Eli was great - personable, polite, and very knowledgeable. He quickly determined the compressor had gone out. He explained that the compressor is the number one failure on any refrigerator, so he routinely has a spare in his van. There was very little mess, but Eli cleaned up and even used my vacuum and duster to deep clean the coils for me! In about an hour, Eli had the compressor replaced, answered all our questions, and was on his way. We agree with the other reviewers, Eli and Appliance Healer deserve all those great reviews. Eli fixed an issue with our new LG Washtower. The washer made a loud squeaking noise during spin cycles. We were worried it was a product design issue. The installers had left a large piece of styrofoam under the washer and the drum was hitting it. Eli quickly found the issue and checked everything else out carefully. I have an LG French Door Refrigerator that we bought at Lowes in May of 2018. Yesterday the compressor started to make some weird noises and it stopped cooling in the freezer and then the upper unit. I had read reviews on Next Door and other places that LG has issues with their compressors but there was a 5-year warranty on them. My timing was perfect for a change on warranty replacements! I called about 10 different firms and the only one that would come out today was Appliance Healer. They are also one of two LG-authorized repair centers in this area. Eli came out as scheduled and immediately told me it was the compressor and he had one in his truck. I called LG and talked to a very nice CS rep, Micca, and told her my story and that Eli was here from Appliance Healer and would they give me the authorization over the phone? After a 4-minute wait, she came back online, gave me the authorization and Eli installed the new compressor, added a new software update to the motherboard, and vacuumed the coils and the area underneath the fridge. $95 for the service call which is a bargain I believe. Kudos to Appliance healer for having the parts and to LG for quickly getting my unit up and running. I would highly recommend Appliance Healer Repair for LG products and I may look at a Home Warranty now too. Eli told me that all appliance brands have issues now. read more

ZERO - The vendor did NOT honor their promises! A new $400 washer door had to be replaced and paid for, but same issue with the hinge occurred within a year and the vendor would not provide replacement door paperwork, nor pursue warranty with LG, nor even return calls to discuss the options to resolve the matter. I am inclined to believe the installation was shoddy, as not all the screws used on the hinge were the same and the threading to the door had been stripped. POOR INSTALL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Our LG washer would sometimes drip water into the wash tub after the cycle completed. LG recommended Appliance Healer. Called them in the afternoon and they scheduled a visit the next morning. Service tech quickly diagnosed the issue, but had to order a part. A valve was sticking. He advised us to shut off the water when not in use to eliminate the chance that the valve would stick completely open and flood the house. When the part came in, he arranged to install it. He was careful in his work. Very quick and clean job. Could not be happier with the service. read more

They came out the same day (we were late, but they promptly rescheduled for today). Our service person was super quick and efficient. Our refrigerator was up and running in under an hour. Appliance Healer appears to be a LG Authorized appliance repair service but does not have a regular bricks and mortar shop. I called LG wanting to have my brand new fridge looked at because the water tastes bad coming out of the cooled water in front. The guy who came said that it was the water line causing the bad taste which is ridiculous because if I clear the cooled water out, the water tastes fine. Then I had him provide water directly from the line and it tastes fine too. Obviously the problem is the cooled water. The tech refused to admit this obvious fact - I'm sure LG incentives them to only fix issues. In this case, the new fridge has an unusable water dispenser. LG is VERY HARD to deal with generally and if it weren't for the fact that it is the only fridge that will fit in our space, we would choose something else. So, anyway, this company Appliance Healer Repair is very dishonest. If you call LG for repair, you should ask to specifically AVOID this company since they will not fix your problem!!! read more

I have an LG fridge that we bought in 2021. In the two years we've had it, it's already gone out twice. The first two times, LG sent out their own repair people and considering it recently stopped freezing and cooling for a THIRD time, they obviously didn't fix it. So I called Appliance Healer, as I saw they are a licensed LG repair dealer, and we couldn't be more pleased. First off, they were able to send someone out within 24 hours of calling (LG usually had to schedule us 5 to 7 days out). The next day, when Eli arrived, he was extremely courteous and professional. He was able to find the problem quickly and fixed it on the spot (vs. LG's people had to order a part and it took 3 to 5 business days to come, which meant another appointment to come back a second time). The best part is that he informed me that the warranty still covered this type of repair, minus the service charge, even though we're past the 1 year warranty cut-off. So I was able to have my fridge back within 24 hours of it going out vs. waiting 10 or more days like the two times LG sent someone directly. I will definitely never buy an LG fridge again, but as long as we have this current one, I will be calling Appliance Healer for any future issues! read more

So we got no showed on Thursday of the last week for a scheduled appliance repair. My wife went in to work an hour early so she could be home for the repair. That means she got up at 2:30 am to be at her job at 3am instead of the 4am she was scheduled. No show! Fast forward to Monday, they send us a message that someone will be out between 8am and 12 noon. I told them at the time that we would need to leave work to make that happen. The guy gets there at 11:30ish. He calls me and I tell him that my wife will be there in 10-15 minutes. He said that would be fine. When she gets there he had left already. This is a total mess between Home Depot who I bought the 5 yr warranty on my $3400 LG Fridge and LG and this local repair shop. Total cluster you know what! read more

Nine years ago we bought our LG fridge and discovered quickly that VERY FEW people work on these. Searching LG's website for local support services yielded three service providers here in Austin and Yelp reviews led me to call Appliance Healer (AH). Like many here, Eli came out to address my problem, namely a leak from the water dispenser and he was very calm, friendly, conscientious and helpful. Eli checked all of the water lines to the unit and found it was a piece of ice jammed into the top portion of the ice maker tray. No leaking hoses, just melted ice from an overfilled ice bin. With more periodic use and maintenance of the ice dispenser, should be fine from this point forward. It must be said the $95 charge is what is paid, if you ask AH to come to your home, but choose not to have them dive in and address the problem. In this case, Eli disassembled, diagnosed and checked things and the total was $215. On the whole, WELL WORTH IT to find such a great LG fridge repair resource! Thanks Eli and AH! This company came out to repair my stove as part of a service call through American Home Shield. The technician said the ignitor was "dirty". The problem persists. Regardless of them saying they would come back out and repair it if the problem persisted. I contacted American Home Shield and the vendor refused to come out to repair the problem. I would never use this company ever. read more
