I thoroughly enjoy going to Apt 503! I don't feel like it's ever too crowded and the music is great. They're always playing hip hop/r&b, and the best part, THROWBACKS! Talk about nostalgia. I think I frequent Apt 503 at least once every two weeks or so. The bartender, DAVID, is so sweet. LOVE HIM! I wouldn't mind going just to say hello. You know what, I think I'm going to pay a visit this Saturday! PROTIP: The line to use the restroom is kind of a pain BUT they have restrooms on the 1st floor of the building, which makes it so much easier when you REALLY have to go. You're welcome. read more

Let me tell y'all that this place is really really good!! Probably one of my favorite spots! With the music to the ambiance of the setting to the bomb ass mini sliders & fries (trust me it taste even 100x better when you're drunk too lol). So I'll tell you all about my first time experience here on my birthday in April on the 21st, Friday! I celebrated my 21st bday and it also was my first time ever going to a club/lounge. It blew beyond my expectations. Apt. 503 was quick to respond and to answer all of my questions about the venue, pricing and having a table with bottle service. They were very professional I must say! When I arrived there I was about 20 mins late, but they didn't give me any trouble and they let me right in to lead me to my table! It was so cute, I had balloons and glasses with my champagne bottle waiting for me! Let me mention my table was by the Dj too! and the music was bumpin' with R&B/Hip-Hop radiance against my body (its really hard to find a place that plays strictly that, because that is what I listen to mostly). They allowed my guest (which ages ranged from 21-40yrs old) as well as myself to feel comfortable and we all had a good time! I didn't want to leave! They were checking in on me too, to make sure I was good with everything. It was definitely a wonderful night I won't ever forget, thats why I will be going back soon to celebrate my boyfriends birthday too. Apt 503 is a quasi club. It's a bar but they make it seem like a club. There are designated tables which you can reserve in advance. It comes with some snacks like chicken tenders, french fries, and was that a taco bell taco??? They serve drinks in coffee mugs as well. It's inconvenient in the fact that there is a long line and I don't think you can actually get in unless you have a table reserved. Since it's a quasi club you have people dressed very casually and other dressed like they are going to a club in Vegas. I think girls particularly like this place because there are a lot of photo ops to be had with the decor of the establishment. However this place is for 20 somethings. So if you are looking to hang out with your friends and have good conversation with some drinks, do not come here. read more

Apt is not a bad bar to come to hangout with your friends during a normal weekend. There's no cover and the cheaper tables are around $300-400 near the dj table. There's a decent sized outside area if the inside gets too crowded for you. We came for the New Years event, there wasn't anything special at all. This lounge is one of my favorite places in ktown. No cover before 10:30pm, dress code is pretty laid back, and the dj is always on point! They also have a bunch of speciality drinks that look & taste amazing but I usually stick to what I know (jack & coke or pineapple & patron). There is room for dancing but also a separate area with sitting so you can talk without having to scream so the other person can hear. I highly recommend this spot!! read more

So I was struggling to find a place to celebrate my birthday last month when a friend mentioned they had heard of this place. Of course I went straight to Yelp to do a little research and with all the cute pictures I decided to give it a try. GUESTLIST Ok first you need to know that yes you need to contact them ahead of time! It's pretty simple really, you email them at info@apt503.com with the number of people in your party and all of their names. I would suggest getting there relatively early(before 11) to make sure everything goes smoothly. LOCATION It is located in the same building as office buildings which can be a little confusing but also pretty cute idea,park in the parking structure (which they validate for you for only $2) then just go up the elevator to the fifth floor and you're there! DECOR OMG I absolutely LOVED all the decorations! Such a cute idea and perfect for taking the cutest ig posts with your girls :) the design of the room is in a way which makes it seem like there are two separate rooms. One part has a bar and is close to the dj and then the other part has a mini bar as well and is right next to the patio area. I was so grateful for the outside area because yes the area close to the dj can get a little warm but the open patio area makes it so easy to get a nice breeze before going back in. BOTTLE SERVICE One of my friends actually decided to get bottle service as well and it starts at $300. And it comes with a little food platter! Sliders and tacos I believe, so adorable! Definitely worth it if you have a big group and want a place to chill with them. Overall loved my birthday and can't wait to go back! I came here with a fairly large group for NYE last week. We did Uber here, but from the my past experience, there is a parking garage on the first floor. Just remember to get your parking validated so it's only $2! The entrance is on the 5th floor (take the elevator, make a right). I'm not really into the whole "artsy fartsy" stuff, but everything is decorated very uniquely. It gave off a vibe I'm not accustomed to, and I liked that. It's not your typical Korean lounge/bar, and since this place is fairly new, that's a good thing...there are enough of those. The inside is fairly intimate, so don't expect a huge layout. But this made it easier to not get lose and be able to meet people(+ for me). There is an outside area, which was pretty cold at night, but manageable...and I can see huge potential for spring/summer coming up! With the outside included in the mix, the place is actually pretty spacious. For my recent visit, we had a table for the NYE party they threw. This was really nice being able to put our stuff down(purses for the ladies and jackets for everyone else), and as we were off to the side in a corner, made it feel more secure as well. They do have only two restrooms(one male and one female), but I didn't seem to have to wait for the restroom long. And for the size of the venue and the crowd, there isn't a need for a huge restroom IMO. For drinks, an Old Fashioned will always be a good choice here. There are two bars, and I'd say they work at a fairly decent pace. Just don't order 5 different drinks with 5 different ingredients in each and you'll be fine. They also have a decent selection of good beer! I think one of my gripes about many bars/lounges is the scarce offering of beers...especially with the boom of so many great breweries! Side note: My female friends were actually happy to find that the amount of creepers was very limited, not something (as a guy) I'd ever think about. read more

First of all, you must be on a guest list to enter. So don't think you can just stroll in on one of your Ktown barhopping adventures. You've been warned. Parking- There's a big ole parking structure attached to the building. You're good. Atmosphere- The interior is a bit cramped, but manageable and has 2 bars, a mini dance floor, and tables. The doodles on the wall are there, but not as obvious when the party starts, so if you want to take your Instagrams, you should get there before the crowds do. There is a pretty sizable outdoor space in case you get claustrophobic. Crowd- Young and Asian. Drinks- I had table service and just had Jameson on the rocks all night, so I can't comment on their mixology. But service seemed on par with any other lounge. Overall, it's a fun place to party on a weekend, provided that you have a way in. The night I went, there was a pretty good guy-to-girl ratio too. Came here to ring in the New Year with a group of close friends, and it was so much fun! We got table service, which included two bottles as well as a food tower. Catering was done by Hungry Bear that night. Food was pretty good, my favorite was the mushroom puff hors-d'oeuvre. The decor on this place is whimsical and provides a lot of great photo backdrops. The concept of this lounge is especially cute and very instagram ready. I went on a thursday night with some friends and it was pretty empty. We originally got a bit lost finding it because we tried to enter from the front. Actually, enter from the back of the building where the doors are open. The bouncer at the door asked if we were on the guest list, which surprised us because I didn't know that we had to call ahead to be put on the list. Nonetheless, he was quite nice and just had us add our names to the clipboard. The space is tiny and its bar even tinier. There is only two bartenders and it took them each a while to make the specialty drinks. I liked how modern and "Asian" it was. A lot of interactive art underneath bad lighting. There was an outside area for the smokers but the lights weren't on, so it was basically smoking in the dark. I liked it best to spend time with friends, just chilling and taking pictures. The dance floor is a lot smaller than other clubs I have been to, but it is a lounge so I don't think people here do too much dancing. read more

I had such a blast celebrating my birthday here last month!! I did a lot of research trying to find somewhere new and chill that my friends and I would enjoy going to, and Apt 503 looked like the best fit. I read all of the reviews and noted the guest list, so I emailed way ahead of time. They were super helpful, answered all of my questions, took down all of the names of my group, and gave me important tips to know (dress code, arrival time, etc.) I was ready to party. My group arrived early, was greeted kindly by the hostess and bouncers, and walked in without a problem. Early arrival was perfect so that we could take pictures with all of the great decor, artwork and backgrounds. Getting drinks was a breeze, and they bartenders knew what they were doing. My favorite part: the music! All of the great R&B classics were so fun to sing and dance along to; my friends and I loved it. All in all: get on that guestlist, be nice to the staff and they'll be nice to you, arrive early, appreciate the art, and have an awesome time at Apt 503! read more

Targeting individuals for their sexual orientation is highly inappropriate and against the law as I am within a protected group under California Law. On August 5th, 2022, I was discriminated against and not let inside due to my sexual orientation. I was called inappropriate slurs such as "faggot" by one of the security guards which is so sad how this is still happening in 2022. Once I started letting the security guards know that what they were doing was wrong they tried to flip the script in saying I, a customer was harassing them just because I stood for what is right. In no circumstance did I say anything that was inappropriate or disrespectful. A lot of individuals saw this happen and they also partook into trying to defend me of this situation. I hope there is serious repercussions taken against the security guards in this lounge, as a business there should not be any type of discrimination for anyone under Title 7. read more

This place is one of the newer places in Ktown and offers poor souls an alternative to the infamous Line. I like Line because it's easy to run into friends, but I hate Line because of how crowded it is. As of late, I've been running into people I know here, and haven't had to really wait in line. The decor is pretty amazing. Apparently it was all hand-drawn over several months. The decor makes it easy to take some IG quality pictures. TIP: Get on guestlist. I love Apt 503!! Went there with my boyfriend and another couple on a Saturday night and we had a ball! I love the cartoon look. Its unique and different so I appreciate that. (a social media photo addicts heaven lol) The drinks were pretty good too (average price for la) and the bartenders were nice which is important and they have snacks :). Music is R&B and Hip-hop, it was a pretty good set, no complaints. Was able to dance and the crowd was fun too. The place does require that you are on a guest list in order to enter. They do have a simple dresscode I think ...like no sport caps and tennis shoes, I would double check though. So make sure you send them an email or Facebook message before. Not sure if they have a cut off time but they are super responsive and will get back to you pretty quick. (ex: sent a fb message at 6pm got back to me by 7pm.) There was no line when we got there but that was around 9pm. Security guards or bouncers were cool too. Koreatown can suck when it comes to parking but we just parked in the parking structure (connected to the golf place). It's on the 5th floor of one of the ktown buildings. They didn't change the venue name on the elevators yet, but just click 5th floor. Went in around 10pm and was pretty empty but it got packed quick. This is definitely the new "it" place to be. As other reviewers have mentioned, there's a lot of hand-drawn art on the walls to resemble the space as an apartment. Super super cute. Perfect for Instagraming selfies. The furniture and two bars are modern and chic. Their signature drinks are delicious. I don't remember the names (drank too much haha), but the fruity vodka and the tequila with a hint of pepper were my favorites. The bartenders were friendly and fast. There's a large smoking patio outside, DJ mixing hip hop, and overall good vibes. This may just turn into my new weekly hangout spot. read more

Came to this spot on a friday night with a girlfriend and it was really fun! The ambiance is super cute modern chic kinda vibe. They are known to have special cocktails-and they did but in my opinion, everything was just a tad too sour. Their menu isn't very big-just 5 special drinks on it and since I don't drink rum or tequila I stuck with the gin and vodka ones. I liked the white rabbit and black dhalia, try them out if you like lightly sweetened but more sour type of drinks. The crowd is JUST as ASIAN as LINE bar. Door man/"bouncer" on the night of 1/20 @ 0130 was a complete asshole to us. He kept yelling at us to wait in a very specific area and demanding us to move away from the bathrooms when 1. There was no one there, 2. He was clearly power trippin for no reason. We understand you have a job to do, but don't be so rude and yell at our faces for no reason. I was waiting for my fiancé FAR from the women's bathroom AND we bought 3 bottles at a table knowing this place was whack as fuck. Will NEVER come back, this guy was so rude to me and my friends. We brought you business; don't power trip as a door man. At the end of the day, you guys should be worried about providing good customer service to people that buy tables at your venue. There is a parking structure. $12 but you can get validation. You still pay a few bucks though. Go to the 5th floor (golf range) and cross over to the other building. My party got the outside tables so I don't know how much anything costs. The deco was cute in the pictures. Couldn't see any of it because it was too crowded. Didn't want to be in everyone's business just to take selfies. The outside has heat lamps, but only your forehead gets warm as hell. And beware its an outside area for other people too so if they crowd towards your table be aware that they might take your drinks or dessert you brought for your party. Wowa such a cute place to have fun and dance!! I came here on a girls night out on Saturday. One of our friends happened to know the owner, and he took care of the guest list for us when we told him where we were going, or I would have not known that there would be a guest list for a lounge in Ktown! We got in at around 10:30, so it was easy to get in, but the inside was pretty busy already. The interior is so cute and fun to just look around. This is like a bar in a cartoon! They have outside patio too, which is refreshing and chill. I tried a couple of their cocktails, and they were pretty good. Just one cocktail with tequila was very very spicy, so if you were feeling sleepy or tired, maybe that is a cocktail for you. I like that they have some food too, such as sliders and tacos. It is nice to have food available when drinking, isn't it?! Music was a mix of throwback and current hip hop and pop that night, which was really fun to dance on! I took Uber here, but my friend told me that their parking was only $2 with a validation. That is so cheap! Apple lady looked at our group with not much excitement or amusement, sort of like "who are you and why are you here". The staff were consistently rude and arrogant and feel the need to hassle you at every turn. Like I said, the drinks were decent, but as we stood there finally enjoying them, another one of their staff began aggressively telling us to move over a couple feet from where we were standing. There was literally no one around us, but again somebody was hassling us because he was bored I guess. We actually thought he was joking for a moment because it was so absurd. But he wasn't. It's like they put their staff through a rigorous training program on how to have the most unfriendly, shittiest attitude possible. Overall, this club thinks it's way more cool than it could ever be. Lose the attitude guys. You're a mediocre club in Koreatown. Turn the douche dial down a notch. On the way out, the bouncer served up another helping of attitude. He takes the douche cake for the evening. It's not that hard to run a club while maintaining a courteous attitude towards your customers. You want to try to sell exclusivity? That's going to be tough, but whatever you do, at least do it with class and courtesy. Your bouncer is rude, and he starts the experience in a 1-star direction. Came here for a taco Tuesday called Mas Vida and I will say that the atmosphere was very beautiful. The walls was covered in art and there are many couches for people eat, drink, and socialize. The tacos was good too. Quite small but very good. The drinks are pretty reasonable. Henny and coke was $15, but a shot of henny was the same...weird lol. This place has two sides. One side has a patio where people vape and etc on the patio. On the other side is where the di and bathrooms are. Couches and bars are on both sides. Overall I would def come back! read more
