Lox Omelette. Yogurt Parfait. The home fries were okay. I prefer mine to be more seasoned and crispy. I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and the multigrain toast. The yogurt parfait was good. But it was pricey. My guest did not enjoy the Lox omelette, it was not appetizing and the taste seems off. Overall, I'm willing to maybe give them another chance if the small changes were made. Few options for gluten free folks like myself. Okay, if you're in a pinch! If they offered more GF I'd probably go here again. Everything was fresh and you could tell. Juice is made to order as is the food. It's obvious in the taste and presentation. The place is cute and easy to get to! Service was great and we were seated immediately on a Saturday (thank goodness it is locals only season again). My husband got a bagel sandwich with scrapple + a side of fresh berries. This was some of the thickest most delicious looking scrapple. He said the looks match the taste! Coffee was lacking heavily for him, verbatim "It's basically dirty water...". I got a fresh pressed orange juice + steak and eggs w/ asparagus and was not disappointed by any means! All around just good healthy food. Again, if they had more to offer I'd go back but I don't really spend money for breakfast meals I can make easily at home unless I'm in a pinch. read more

Okay decided to hit this place up, because can't be going to the same place for brunch everyday. This place was quick to seat, but slow on service. Like seriously slow, only saw our waitress when she came to take our order and our bill. Got the following things: Hot chocolate - don't order this, took a sip and basically chocolate water. Got the Crab benedicts and from what I remember, I said to myself, wow, I should have came here previously and I need to come back here again! It was really good. The crab was lump, so I love that and totally slapped! Summer Berry French Toast - first time seen it paired with granola and this was a win too Fluffy pancakes - I forget if I tasted this or not, but I am not a big pancake person unless it's from Clinton's. I know you all missed it, Luigi he dissed it, but can't admit it, I'm better than he is, a clown in those shoes, it's him turn to choose and back off of this game, i'm ready to play. Eggcellent was excellent, that's punny. Now I'm gonna stop trying to be funny - the decor in this place was amazing, the lemon perch had me gazing, the coffee was blazing hot, the fresh brewed taste it hit the spot, the warmth it hit the spot, the classy glass yeah that hit the spot, I gave it a sip then put it down just like a shot. That steak sizzled so well, the taste answered the bell, the bell from hunger, my tummy did swell, it was happy for me that I chose such a meal. The wait to be seated was almost immediate for a Friday. The coffee was amazing. I ordered the cream of crab soup , which comes with toasted baguette slices. Tasty with soup. Ms. Kathy was very accommodating and kind to recommend the soup. The ambiance was a nice neighborhood restaurant. read more

I called ahead of time and asked if it was pet friendly and if we needed reservations and if there was a parking lot we were pulling a camper and have a puppy w us. just trying to eat on the way home from the beach we get here and are turned away they are NOT PET FRIENDLY. Lunch for 12 certainly didn't disappoint, great menu, food and service at this relaxing new spot on Coastal Highway. The atmosphere was also really nice, bright and upbeat. We had many different options, ultimate blt very very good, southwest salad ahead rave reviews, a version of a monte Cristo was well received, eggs Benedict and a chicken wrap. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and the great option of breakfast and lunch at 12:30. Really excellent service, everything delivered hot and fresh. Great job, you surely earned our business ! What an awesome find while in Lewes for the Sea Glass Festival. We ordered the California Grilled Cheese and the Crispy Chicken Wrap. Both came with fries that were amazing. Not your typical fry. These had a crispy outside. Both sandwiches were very good. Although not one to use hot sauce, we did try the Peach Vidalia Onion Hot Sauce. It was so good that we purchased a bottle to take home. This place has wonderful outside seating under a big tree that offered a ton of shade. The food was delicious! Their sourdough bread was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Hubby got the sriracha candied bacon. Our waitress and waiter were very attentive and accommodating. We'll definitely be back. read more

We went to Eggcellent a few weeks ago after 10:30 mass. Despite the rain and cold the place was very busy. A very nice hostess asked if we minded sitting at the bar and we agreed. I had a delicious mimosa and my husband and I both had very good coffee. I ordered their signature French toast. It comes with powdered sugar, cinnamon and granola on it. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had a brunch special that had eggs, pancakes and bacon. He said they were some of the best scrambled eggs he ever had. The food took a long time to come out, but you knew it was super fresh. The server refilled our coffee several times without us asking. When she saw how much I looked the homemade granola she brought me a little bowl of it- on the house. We will definitely come back! read more

I have never experienced this before, but we were so excited to try this new place for my daughter's birthday breakfast. Ambiance is cute-similar to the restaurant that was there before. Walked in, only had to wait about 5 minutes to be sat. And then we just SAT. 20 minutes and no one came to the table and greeted us. A server finally walked into the room and went to a table that had just sat. We waited a few more minutes and then just left. These people couldn't have cared less. We tried this restaurant two days in a row during our stay in Dewey Beach. The food was really good both times, and so was the service. They give you generous portions and everything is seasoned pretty well. I had the Lox Omelet the first day and it was great and it had plenty of salmon throughout. The next day I had the steak and eggs which was good also. My husband loved the French toast. He also tried the Cape Omelette and loved it, and he doesn't usually eat omelettes. My son tried the burger which was a very nice size and had great flavor. We will definitely be back whenever we are in the area. read more
