This place is great!. I have been hearing about it for several years and I finally went last week. The location is great. It's over in the Marina Village area. And there is so much parking. We parked on the gravel as we saw right in front there was a parking area but look like I've been paid parking. No need to pay to park there. My friends were having their ladies motorcycle night here on Wednesday 7/30/25. Although the event started at 6pm, I arrived at 3pm. I know, I know- such a long time to wait it out. But, I had two doctors appointments before arriving here, I was fasting for almost 20 hours, I didn't wanna deal with traffic, I was HUNGRY, and why not? I noticed on Google Maps, there's a parking lot next door- and I think it's a paid parking lot, by the looks of the swing arm. But, plenty of street parking all the way down to the jetty on Quivira or across the street on a gravel lot. As hungry as I was- I ordered taco salad with steak with the bartender. My plate arrived and I just kept staring at it. Why does the lettuce (all of it) look bruised?! Just like the avocado slices- they appeared to have been sitting out in the open. Then realized it's the gunk from the black beans. Look, I understand if you use canned beans. I get it. It saves time. But, at least rinse them off! And the "steak ". I was staring at the clumps of it. I was under the impression it was asada/steak strip type of meat. These clumps were bigger than just ground beef. And just staring at it- the "steak " looked so gray. So, bland. I poked my fork into a piece of this steak to give it a try because I was so dang hungry. It was chewy... and, bland. So, I think this is cubed steak? Like, what's used for country fried steak? Different. :/ I drizzled the ranch dressing onto the taco salad- another thing I noticed when the plate was delivered- no tortilla bowl. Tortilla rounds were crushed and placed at the very bottom of everything else on top. That's when I mixed everything up to get some of the ranch dressing onto everything. I took bites of these chips- and I kid you not- they were stale! Here's the kicker- for this meh version of a taco salad and one unsweetened iced tea- $34. I didn't wanna make a fuss. I just know- I'd NEVER order it again. After eating and still quite some time til my friends arrived- I enjoyed their spacious outdoor patio. Tons of community tables, limited cushioned/ wicker seats, and stools lining up the edges of the patio area. Natty Prophets were getting ready to set up during this time. And I like hearing live music. Always an added bonus. When the gals started trickling in- I figured, let me try something else. That's when I really started to look at the menu. Over and over. Nothing seemed to grab my attention. I asked the bartender if they served fries. Nope. Then I asked, if they served ANYTHING fried. Nope. Dang it! So, I see there are hot dogs. I asked how big the Hebrew National All Beef hot dog is- just a regular size. Okayyyy. $6. And she wasn't lying. Just like when you go to 7/11. Their small hot dog (for reference). I asked for cheese. And when my hot dog came- it was nice and toasty. Sliced cheese melted along the dog. Then, my last order was another hot dog with cheese and one burger patty. Nothing else. This is what I don't understand. For those two items $24.24! WTH!! I didn't want the actual burger and all the fixings that came with it. That was whack! I think the reason Aquarius doesn't offer any fried foods is the possibility of grease fires and the extreme damage they can cause? Understandable. Other than that- while Natty Prophets performed, our group decided to hang inside. We initially had tables at the patio- but, we couldn't hear our conversations! I'm old and I gotta pee more and I said it's a bit of an emergency. I promise I won't stay/buy a drink/listen to the music etc. Then he got obstinate and rude. There's no call for that. Probably a good place for casual drinks and if you happen to be hungry they have food too. It wasn't really a relaxing lunch spot. Service (at least in the afternoon) is very low-- one bartender that takes your order. The Mahi burrito was good but nothing to rave about. Beans and rice lacked flavor. The outdoor seating (which is mostly what they have) is pretty dirty and worn. Just a strange place, hard to tell what they're going for, but not bad. read more

2 weekends ago, came to see the band/meet friends. Gave the guy at the door a $20 for a $5 cover charge. He tried to give me change for a $10 instead. I said, no I gave you a twenty! She said she would mention it to the owner. Later that night the door guy came over to me & said, "I may have made a mistake." And I said YES YOU DID. But he NEVER actually apologized. He prob only came over bc I said I was going to complain about him. Also this place is KNOWN for OVERCHARGING or DOUBLE CHARGING for cocktails that are LOUSY and not even made correctly!
