Came here for the USA world cup game so I expected it to be busy, but I did not expect the worst service experience I've ever had. Long story ahead but I really hope management uses it to improve because this just wasn't okay. Short story -- 40ish minutes to get a drink, 2 hours to get the wrong order, server totally ignored us after our 3rd attempt to order the same things. Skip it and go somewhere else. The man at the door was great and had me and my friend seated right away - we shared a table with strangers but that was just the way it was and no problem at all. Server came up and took our orders - couple beers and some burgers and sliders. He was a bit frazzled from how busy it was but that's to be expected, again no big deal. 20 minutes later he checked on everyone at our table. We hadn't received anything, so we reminded him of our orders. Said the kitchen was backed up - fair. Reminded him of the beer orders. 10-15 mins later, a runner came by to drop off beers - got snarky when we said none of them were ours despite us apparently being the right table number. So be it. Wait continued. Another 10-15 later, server comes back to check on us. Told him we still hadn't gotten anything. Reminded him of our orders, he said that he missed the beer order earlier and one of the food orders. We reordered and simplified the order. 3 beers, burger, and sliders. 20 mins later, beers show. Just 2 but whatever, we accepted it. He also brought water (first time bringing them). No food. Kitchen still backed up apparently. Reminded him again of our food orders. 30 mins later, still no food. No other beers. No new orders taken. He actively started ignoring us at this point. Literally talking to the rest of the table but not myself and my friend. Others around us getting food and drinks, even those who came in way after us. 10-15 later, he comes up with the wrong burger order. Rejected it. No word on the other food order. After this point we were very literally ignored the rest of the game. He took orders and shared bills with the rest of the table but not us. Not even a look. Friend went to another server to just ask to pay for the beers after the game. Server had to pass it back to him to get us that. He AGAIN tried to ignore my friend and pass a check to another table and my friend had to call him out. End of the day - no food, 4 beers, and truly the worst service ever. I've never been ignored like that. We didn't complain once during the whole event, we were nice and kindly reminded him of the orders but no stress over delays with the kitchen. The reality was that he just didn't put our stuff in (which he admitted about the food on the 3rd or 4th check in) but no apologies, just no eye contact. It's one thing to be busy, it's another to repeatedly not take an order and then act like nothing was wrong AND ignore patrons with NO apologies. Truly bummed about my experience here and cannot recommend it to anyone else. Maybe hit the bar or get one of the actual waitresses if you can. Otherwise, avoid avoid avoid. read more

Highly recommend the chili tots. The tots.are perfect -- crisp on the outside without being oily and hot and moist on the inside. The chili is really tasty too, it's rich and has deep spicy (as in full of spices) taste to it and the onions and melted cheese gave it the perfect balance. It came with sour cream, but I don't like that that's why it's not there. Service is friendly, they do make sure that you got all you need and plenty of TVs to watch sports! I frequent this place for lunch after walking Mission Bay. Our server has always been really nice except this last time. He saw me trying to fix our "wonky" table by putting a folded napkin under it and was pissed! He scolded me with, "Please don't do that! It looks trashy! We have a wedge to fix it!" He came back with the wedge & was under the table throwing the napkins that other people had put there before me, repeating how it looked trashy. My thoughts... fix the wonky tables so the customers don't have to and remove the napkins & replace with wedges when necessary. No offer to replace the drink or anything. We came here on Friday the day after Thanksgiving around 11:15am and the doors were locked yet it looked like they were open since there was music in the outdoor area. We walked into the outdoor area and peeped our heads into the restaurant. I think the manager caught us and happily came over to greet us into the restaurant. He said they weren't open for another 15 mins but to come in anyway. Bartender was busy cleaning and setting up the bar and he got us drinks right away. I ordered the Hawaiian Plate with Teriyaki Chicken and my boyfriend got the Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich. The chicken and teriyaki sauce were very good and the chicken was not over-grilled. The macaroni salad was good but tasted like potato salad because there was a ton of dill in it. The rice was super dry so you had to eat it with the teriyaki sauce. My boyfriend liked his sandwich and he wasn't able to finish all of his tater tots. I used to come here all the time just for drinks....now I know I should try the food when we come back again. read more

It's our kids' favorite restaurant, which is awesome because it's close and we also love it. Somehow the ambiance is perfect for adults and families. The kids get the Mac n cheese every time. We get one of the following: chicken tenders, chicken wings, shrimp Alfredo, grilled chicken sandwich, shrimp, or the crispy chicken wrap. They have tots and fries. Poke. A fried chicken sandwich.
