This is my go-to spot in Riverside for coffee and a quick bite to eat. The baristas are friendly & the quality of the food is excellent for a coffee shop! It's not the most comfortable or ideal place to study because the seats are small & wooden and the music's loud (bring noise cancelling headphones!). There's a comfy couch to read or chat with a friend. The parking lot is small, but there's usually free street parking if you don't mind the walk. read more

I'm not a yelper, good or bad I never do this but today just not acceptable, walked in for the first time no one said "hello" "welcome in" nothing staff didn't even look up. Granted I've never been here before and I'm standing behind a woman and her kid behind the register and it's obvious I'm not with them, I'm there for about 10 minutes when I realized that's not where you order, I'm trying to ask someone and the girl making coffee doesn't even look up and the rest of the staff wondering clueless. I didn't notice if there was an order here sign or not which was my mistake but to stand there for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me to see if I'd been helped or not and let me know where I should order was just not cool. I worked in the restaurant industry for 9 years and was always taught to greet and if I wasn't sure about someone just standing there ask if they'd been helped. Will not be coming back read more

Place is hard to find but worth the search! Haha great vibe inside, as stated in other reviews the staff is super friendly! I got the draft latte, it was a first for me and it tasted great. I also added on a cinnamon butter biscuit which was amazing. For sure give this place a try! Only complaint I'd have is the biscuit is a little pricey for what you get but other than that it's worth it. Keep up the good work arcade! My family and I visited this coffee shop today. We had a great experience. Amazing food, coffee and pastries. Most of us had the burrito. Meat was tender and flavorful. It was clean inside (And they had high quality paper towels in the bathroom, lol!) We also had the avocado toast with watermelon radish. It was delicious and beautiful. See pic. Came here on the way to Joshua Tree from Orange County. Location is sorta weird, in a business/industrial park but as is such for plenty of coffee shops. I liked that I could see the staff's faces. What a breath of fresh air. They were roasting beans fresh right in front of everyone. Music was great. Space is pretty big, but it was equally as crowded. Seems like a popular study/hangout spot for college students if I was to guess. A bit pricey. Maybe it was just the food, but whatever. What isn't pricey these days. Coffee wasn't really my favorite, but I could see how some people like it. The sweetness level in my vanilla latte was spot on though. Food was good. Fiancée enjoyed the vegan crunch wrap. I got the tri tip breakfast burrito. Not the best breakfast burrito I've had, but it's hard to make a bad one. Overall good. Arcade Coffee Roasters is located among a bunch of industrial businesses/warehouses, but it's such a (hidden) gem! I haven't found many good coffee spots in Riverside, so I was so happy to stumble upon Arcade. I got an iced latte with vanilla and lavender. Delicious!!! Highly recommend adding their lavender flavor to your drink. There is plenty of free street parking. It's also a HUGE spot, so feel free to bring friends, homework, work, a book to read, etc. Find a seat and enjoy! read more

First timer! I must say this place is a must go if you're a coffee lover. The customer service was great, I received my drink (iced latte) within 2 minutes! All the staff were very friendly, quick to find parking and easy finding the location. They have quite a bit to choose from their menu, like different kinds of coffee to kombucha! I had the vanilla pine latte today with oatmilk! 5 stars for originality! I could taste the faint taste of pine-- I wish I had asked how they achieve this! I also tried their drip coffee. I would like it more if it was not so tart/berry like in flavors but that's just the bean they use-- which I find common in local roaster spots! It's a taste that I haven't acquired. Arcade is probably one of my favorite local roaster. Their coffee is always great, their baristas friendly and knowledgeable, and a great space to work. Not to mention they also offer some light foods and delicious baked treats. It's located not too far from UCR or downtown, it's a nice spot to study or have a conversation. They have a super small parking lot (if you can call it that) but there's plenty of free street parking. They recently opened another location in canyon crest where Jammin Bread used to be. That location also has a larger bakery so definitely worth checking out. read more

Honestly this place is good but it has been extremely frustrating that they decided to slowly phase out their real "breaky burrito with real eggs. The new menu is very vegetarian oriented, which I'm not against, however they wont even allow us to substitute eggs to our food. Absolutely love this place! I have come a few times and always get the draft latte (ask for a sample, it's amazing!) and I have eaten the baked oatmeal and burrito. This place does not disappoint! I heard about Arcade Coffee Roasters from a friend. They recently moved into the old Video Town location right off University about a year ago. Pulling up the locations is pretty easy to miss. There are no major signs just more settle signs. Coming to this place is very hip and minimalistic, not a lot decor. The people are really friendly and reminds of the type of coffee shop you would find in a gentrified neighborhood. I get the feeling that as time goes on they may add more aesthetics to the place. One thing Arcade does well is coffee and I would say better than just about any place in Riverside at that. Speaking of coffee I had the Honey Cinnamon Iced Latte. Overall it is pretty solid the quality of the coffee itself is really good and the added flavors were good also. Being it was my first time I naturally inquired about the breakfast food. I would say there breakfast food is just as high a standard as their coffee. For now I think I will come back to Arcade Roaster more for grab & go and probably to try their breakfast. read more

I've come to Arcade several times and this year too many times but have never been disappointed. In fact, I'm ashamed to say that I've fallen so in love with their draft latte that I shy from trying any of the other items on their menu. I will admit that their coffee is pricier than other coffee shops for the amount that we get, but every sip is most definitely worth every penny spent. Their coffee has kept me focused on my work, and the interior gives me a comfortable and rustic vibe. The indoor benches, in particular, are a nice change of environment from normally sitting at a normal desk and chair in the office environment. The staff are all friendly and nice, and they are always excited to serve customers. I loved their coffee so much that I couldn't resist buying a few of my friends gift cards so that they could experience it as well. read more

I adore Arcade Coffee Roasters! I can't believe all the times I passed by this place and never knew about it. I stopped by because my friend came down to Riverside to visit and she is obsessed with coffee. I wanted to find a nice coffee shop to take her to and Arcade fit the bill perfectly. It is so hole in the wall that it doesn't even have its own sign! It still says "VIDEO TOWN" with the V upside down like an A for "Arcade." The only sign of it being a coffee shop are the tables and the cute signs outside. Love the decor and vibe of this place! It is very chill and homey. My boyfriend had their Cappuccino and I had their Draft Latte. Super impressed with their Draft Latte and I'm glad I enjoyed it based on recommendations. It's a perfect drink to have on the hotter summer days. Very refreshing and light. I would love to come back again! I live pretty close by and I would much rather support a cafe like this than go to Starbucks all the time. Awful experience, ordered food waited 40 min for one burrito, we could see it sitting on the counter halfway prepared, while the one girl working in the kitchen ended up chatting with customers or friends sitting on the couch and not working- once the food was done it was cold from sitting out half way made - we said no it's been sitting there and she gave us a major attitude. This company thinks their sh*t don't stink at every location. Asked for a refund they said we don't do that here are tokens as they had to ask a "manger". I started coming here about a month ago and I always get my latte, smoke my cigarette outside, and then go inside to read I've done this every time I've gone and always smoked my cigarette in the same place every time but for some reason last time I went it was a problem and some guy came out and told me "hey man I love the vibe with the cigarette but...." and then told me to go smoke it somewhere else which isn't a big deal only there's not a no smoking sign and I've done this literally every time I've gone there and it was never an issue before no one was even around me They do have good coffee and the workers are very nice otherwise And to all you cigarette smokers reading this, you know we smoke them for the vibes right? I enjoyed my coffee and the service was good, however the food was below subpar. I ordered an avocado bagel and I did not like it at all. You'd think a bagel with avocado would be easy to make but they tried to over do it by adding their own twist. The bagel and avocado spread itself would've sufficed, but they went and put a scoop of this oily, greasy mess of a chili paste. The chili paste throws the whole thing off. Came here with my boyfriend to study. Its a cute shop with lots of tables to study! It can get crowded but only at busy times. Left is Lavender Honey Latte and right is Cinnamon Honey Latte. 10/10. Love the Cinnamon Honey a little more but thats personal preference! Staff is so sweet. I accidentally spilled my drink and they remade both of our drinks with no hesitation. Visited this place with friends. We were looking for a place where we could all work remotely together and this place was so awesome! I love the layout. Tall tables if you want to stand, small tables with stools or chairs, bar top style seating if your solo and even sofas. Free wifi. Amazing playlist! They baristas are so friendly and attentive. I find myself paralyzed but too many options and they didn't rush me but helped me select a super yummy seasonal pic. A blueberry cardamom latte. Sooo yummy. Was expecting to taste a little more blueberry but it was still really good! They also allowed me to sample their drafted cold brew drink with oat milk and it was crazy good. They only reason I didn't get it was because it was made with oat milk and it doesn't always agree with me. The three of us shared a strawberry chocolate scone which was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. We also ordered the breakfast sausages and grits and the grain bowl! Both dishes were out of this world. You can add eggs to anything so we did a poached egg on our grain bowl and it was so good. Pickled red onion and avocado on top. This dish was really fresh and filling. They also have breakfast sammies, burritos and I think even a waffle or French toast. There are gluten free options too. I love places like this.
