Our neighbor recommended calling 72 degrees. They sent someone out at 8AM the next morning. The furnace failed again later that evening. Last year, they rescued us from a dying furnace over Christmas and then installed a new heat pump. They really went the extra mile for us, lending us nice space heaters and even fixing the grade of the previously uneven, divoted ground along the wall where the outside unit is, which gave us the amazing bonus of reducing moisture to our basement wall. They just noticed the issue and put in the extra labor to make everything nice. This year, we discovered that our bathroom fan had no duct and just vented into the eaves behind the knee wall of our old house. So, we needed to add a duct and vent to the exterior. We were also having moisture problems in our kitchen due to a lack of a range hood. Our stove is on an interior wall and there is a built in, heavy plaster hood over it. So, Ecoheat devised a plan to add a new hood vent and run ductwork through the plaster hood and a soffit to the exterior wall. Once again, we had a wonderful experience with Ecoheat and they did a stunning job. The owner, Thomas, is personally involved in the details of complex projects and has an amazing memory for our house and us as people. He really makes you feel like a valued customer. The office manager, Deven, is also a pleasure to work with and makes everything run like clockwork. Ecoheat coordinated the electrician so we didn't even have to think about that. The employees seem to stick around for a long time which I think speaks well of the company. Griffin, Bombo and Josue are all just delightful to have around and their work standard is at the highest level. They used vents with metal grills to prevent squirrels. They offered to fix the furnace for $600 but it was 30+ years old and high time it was replaced. Better now, when the air-conditioning quit working, than in the winter when the heat would go kaput. Because of the unusually hot weather, they were swamped and could not come out for 3 weeks, but when they did, they did a fantastic job. In fact, they got the job done 3 days early and made arrangements to do so with my tenant - unbeknownst to me. Before making a large purchase like this, always get quotes. The $585 less that Midway is a lot of money to save!

One of their techs, Ryan, tried to troubleshoot with me over the phone and when we couldn't figure that out he came out to our house a few hours later despite not having an appointment available until the following week.
