I had a shift at the hospital, and ordered food on DoorDash around 11:53 AM before I had to clock out so by the time I'm all ready to go and in my car I would just have to pick up my food. But no. I got there and the place looked closed and maybe 2-4 minutes in finally someone helps me. I tell the guy my name and the order and he tells me that he didn't make my order because there was no rice. I asked him how long it would take, and he tells me it would take at least HALF AN HOUR. No call or text so I drove there thinking my food was ready but it wasn't? Instead he gave me options for a salad or fries and I just went with the fries. I'm tired and hungry and I didn't want to make a fuss. I don't mean to sound dramatic or anything but I really just wanted my rice bowl ready to go so I can go home.

That outbreak resulted in a lawsuit coming from the parents of one of the children who was gravely ill and hospitalized. All people hospitalized had eaten the Beef Kofka (ground beef). The Kabob Shop's supplier, Olympia Foods was blamed. Now do we currently have a June outbreak, only the meat affected is Shaved Lamb-Beef???? Original review: I'm not sure what was going on in this restaurant the night of Friday, June 26, but I had to report a health issue caused by the food shown in my pic from that night. The disgusting smell from this order was so bad, I had to take it out of the kitchen. It literally smelled like dog poop. The dish in question is the Lamb/Beef Plate, which had a pile of meat, accompanied by enough yellow rice to feed many, and a teensey piece of dry pita bread. There also was a missing salad. All I can say is beware because the reviews here are 95% positive, and our past experiences with The Kebab Shops have been good. It could have been just a one-off that night, but it doesn't seem so. Judging by the extensive questioning that DoorDash did when handling my complaint, I just know something more was going on that night to have made me so sick. When you are transferred to DoorDash's Food Safety Department, they're taking your complaint seriously. And investigating it.

The bar is no different than the dining room service and I know that is something the restaurant should be mindful of. (Slow and not really scoping out what should be taken care of ie/ customers without drinks and or place settings for appetizers.) It is Important to mention, that we were not the only group seeing and feeling this way. Needless to say, a very HONEST & CLEAR 3.5 stars. Price is familiar to what I see at similar restaurants and the taste of food and drinks delicious. Thank you for providing a pretty place to have enjoyed a meal and drink with a loved one.

5 Stars - Amazing Persian Food! I went to Aria with my boyfriend, who is Persian, and he was so excited to introduce me to real Persian food. Let me just say--WOW. I had the ghormeh sabzi, and it was so freaking good! The flavors were rich, the herbs were fresh, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. I can totally see why this dish is such a big deal in Persian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was great. Why did I come here?…read more With a hunger for mediterranean and the worry that nearby Aria may be a bit too pricey for a quick meal, I brought my son out to The Pita Guys for some gyro or shawarma. What we found were limited options, higher than expected prices, less than helpful staff, and not the best of food. Being my first time, I had questions about the menu. The young pair behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were serving, as they kept looking at one another for guidance with little ability to give me much relevant info on anything other than what types or protein they had. Once I finally ordered, they started to taking and filling the orders of people behind me. It wasn't until a much older woman came in from the back before my own dinner started being prepared. Seriously, it was a pretty weird setup. The food was served Subway style, where they go down the line asking what you wanted added to your wrap. Shawarma meat is minced, staying warm in a tub, and scooped to order by a spoon resting in a bin of cloudy water. Not only did it feel a bit gross, but it also seemed that the bulk of the juice in the meat came from that watery spoon, as the shawarma I ate was very dry. When it came to my son's Shawarma Plate, the menu stated that it came with two sides. What they don't tell you is that the only choices on the 'sides' menu open to you are Hummus and a Salad. The much more desired sides of Falafel, Baba Ghanoush, or even kid friendly Fries, were not offered. Needless to say, my son ate his chicken and rice, but wouldn't touch his hummus. So, a Shawarma Plate and a Shawarma wrap ... dinner for two, not a ton of food, neither of us were all that impressed ... and it cost us over $40. Needless to say, with how everything tasted and what it took to get ... we won't be coming back. For the price it cost us, I think we'll stick with the far superior Aria up the street. Or, at the very least, try the Kebab Shop down the block.

I noticed there wasn't anybody inside the restaurant but it was also late. I also happened to notice that they had a lot of takeout orders ready to go. That tells me that this place is a real hit and many people come here for the cuisine. All in all, my wife loved the food and we will be returning again. I can see us getting food here more often.

They have real shish kebabs with several protein options, and we went all in on the family platter. Yes, it's a little on the pricier side, but the flavors are absolutely there and it felt worth it. My one suggestion would be to ease up a little on the sauce portions. I'd love to have both hummus and sauce with the platter instead of just one giant bowl of one or the other. The rice and salad were tasty, the pita was fresh, and we'll definitely be back.
