Took parents for their first Aroogas experience tonight and I surely won't be their last. Everything from the jalepeno lime boneless wings, to the flatbread, the Chipolte Mac n Franks, and the Pittsburger were delicious! The beer selection alone makes it worth the trip. Our waitress, Devin, was very helpful and attentive but, by all means not hovering. Even found out that they will welcome our fur babies on the patio which is hard to find in Lancaster. read more

Service was slow despite being there after the lunch crowd but before dinner time. Food was not good. Too much sauce and overly salty. Sons stromboli had a hair. Waitress did take it back, had a new one made and took a few dollars off our bill. Just a disappointing meal. We decided that after this not to go back read more

This was our first an only visit to Arroga's in Lancaster. By far the worst service in Lancaster county. We waited 15 minutes to place an order, 30 minutes for our order to arrive (it was the middle of the afternoon and not busy) and then ASKED for our check after putting our leftovers in a box and waiting another 20 minutes for the check. PEOPLE . . .stop leaving tips for inferior service. The most valuable tip for this establishment: Brush up on your customer service skills. They are non-existent. This includes management. Aroogas is great for wings hands down. Just like any major wing restaurant, the wings are over priced though. The rest of the menu is just ok. I do have to say though that the food is better here than at their location in Hershey. I usually get the buffalo chicken sandwhich which is always good. My favorite sauce is the buffalo bay sauce. The atmosphere is great for a sports fan. There are TVs everywhere. They have game pads that you can request from your server. You can follow along with the game on one of their tv's. The bar is huge and they offer a wide selection of beers. read more

They know how to make awesome drinks and they taste the same every single time. I order Trashcans, which by the way are gigantic. And I also order the Long Island's. On occasion, depending on what you order, the food sucks. The shrimp tortilla chip order had way too much old bay. Also the chips were super soggy. Haven't really had a problem with anything else. I usually go between 8pm-2am and they arent usually crowded then. read more

WORST service EVER! Same bartender walked by my empty bottle for 15+ minutes. Feeling pretty dissed by now, I threw my coaster on top of it. Another 10 minutes go by and he waits on the 3 beside me,first their drinks and back again for their food order. Never said I'll be right back, or would you like another one sir? NOTHING. I grabbed a "manager" and asked how much a beer was. She asked depends on the beer. I showed her my empty bottle with the coaster on it and she asks, OH, you want another beer? I proclaimed, yes about 20 minutes ago but your bartender waited on everyone around me, but not me. She tells me 3.50 and I gave her 4.00 and told her to give the change to anyone in the building, but not your bartender. She offered no apology, no reason why my service was the worst ever. NOTHING. And that's how they take care of the customer's ? Good grief!!!!! read more

So this has a nice appearance when you first walk in. The dimmed lights and soft colors make it an attractive sports bar to go to so you can relax and enjoy the game. It can be a little pricey for some items, but they have a good varierts of dishes and and pretty good selection of beer on tap. read more

Came in for beer and wings. Both bartenders ignored me for at least 3 minutes. I left and won't be back. It was 3/18 at 6:15. Went to Carlos and Charlies. Their wings were on special. *uck you aroogas. read more

Don't waste your time. Their brunch menu is probably the most impressive thing. They've totally changed. The drinks are watered down with ice. The portions are SMALL. They charge $12 for a midsize burger?! They charged $16 for 6 wingettes and a tiny half rack of ribs! There are plenty of places in Lancaster County to get a proper meal. This place is no longer one of them. Aroogo someplace else. read more

This was my fourth and probably last visit. Like my prior review the service here is absolutely horrible. We were seated and because of prior experiences we timed our wait. At the 11 minute mark my son went to the hostess and said no one has been at our table. 4 more minutes passed and finally a waitress appeared. She apologized claimed there was confusion and she just got there. Coincidently the exact excuse as last time. This was about 5 pm on Saturday the restaurant was not crowded and there appeared to be an adequate waitstaff I believe this is a management and training issue which eventually will ruin this restaurants reputation. The food was good and promptly served I hope the owners read this and fix the problem read more

Epic fail. Let's start with the fact that the ladies room was out of order. Hostess suggested we use the men's room. You have got to be kidding me. That disgusts me. We get seated and the waiter is actually the one trying to fix the ladies room. That's a scary thought considering that the toilet was clogged. He finally takes our order and it is another 25 minutes until we receive our food. My grandsons sandwich bread was stale, as was the rolls on my what you call sliders. The sliders were about the size of a half dollar and the buns were about the size of a tennis ball. The meat was hard as a rock and I had asked for no cheese of course it came with cheese the waiter only returned one time to check on us to ask if we wanted refills, and we had to flag him down to ask for a check. I would not recommend Arooga's for anyone Unless you were only going there for a drink. It's hard to mess up beer. read more

The Centerville Rd. location just lost a $50 lunch order because the app wouldn't let me place the order and no one answered the phone at 2:00 in the afternoon. Hopefully they will get their s**t together. read more

We went on Mother's Day and sat for 2 hours with no food. They didn't even bring out the kids meal so my daughter was miserable and hungry by the time we finally got our food. Our waitress didn't bother to tell us she was sorry for the delay or update us at all and we had to flag her down for refills. read more

This place used to be so good! Management is horrible and it shows. Made a reservation for a booth and was told when we got there we couldn't have one. Long hair found in food and management didn't even seem phased. Disgusting. I understand things happen but it's how things are handled that make or break a restaurant for me. Boneless Wings are fatty, pepper jack cubes are gross, and buffalo chicken dip is horrifically spicy. read more

Today was my first Arooga's experience and I can not wait to go back for more! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I had the pleasure of interacting with quite a few employees and I enjoyed the conversation with every single one of them. The GM Alex went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made sure we enjoyed the full Arooga's experience. I can not wait to go back to experience the atmosphere when there is a live sporting event going on TV. Or to sit on the patio on a nice fall evening around the fire pit tables. The food was A M A Z I N G. I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded delicious. After lots of drooling I finally decided... for an appetizer I ordered The crab pretzel and I can say that I WILL be ordering this again every single time I go to Arooga's! OH EM GEE it was fabulous!! . And the Stromboli... yum yum yum!! Not many places make their original bolis with mustard... Arooga's does! I wouldn't have it any other way! I was very impressed with my entire visit and will definitely recommend this location for future lunch outings and happy hours!! read more

Good wings but insanely overpriced. By the time the order taker added on the celery and super bleu cheese onto the tab it was just shy of $14. For 10 wings not a dozen. Take out. Can't justify this. I could have a dozen wings delivered for less than $10 from a competitor. I don't mind paying for atmosphere, but in takeout, I'm not receiving the atmosphere why pay for it. It's like a cover charge to pick up food. read more

Had an amazing experience at Aroogas the service was exceptional. Mark the manager stopped by our table and took time to explain the menu and checked back to see how everything came out. We will definitely be back to try some of Marks other suggestions read more

Arooga's is a real staple in my family. We live very close, but only come when we have friends visit or time on a weekend. The food is typical bar food and the drink selection is nice. However, the service here is incredibly slow. We purposely bring friends here so they have to talk to us for at least an hour. I work right next door, but won't eat here on my lunch break as I won't be back in time for work. read more

Service was good with no wait for a table. I got the turkey bacon wrap and was not impressed. Wrap was dry and the chips tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a very long time. Came here back in February and it was better. Not sure what changed. read more

If you want to catch a game and grab a brew then it's an ok place to go. They have a vast drink menu and TV's out the whazzo. This is my second visit here. I was very unimpressed the first time but came back for a going away party for a friend they chose the location. My husband and I ordered a chicken Cesar salad and a cheese steak and fries. We got the salad cuz let's be real it's hard to jack up lettuce. That was actually pretty good minus the Cesar dressing because that tasted nasty. The cheese steak and fries both came out cold and you could tell that it was sitting for awhile because the cheese don't lie you know what freshly melted cheese looks like and cheese that was melted and has been sitting for awhile. I got green peppers and mushrooms on the side since my husband and I were splitting the salad and the cheese steak. The peppers were raw and the mushrooms were straight out of the can. To be blunt it sucked. The place it self is not the cleanest and the bathroom was gross. I won't be going back and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Family and I had a great time! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They made sure we were well taken care of and had our drinks refilled quickly. Food was delicious as well! Wing night is the best! read more

The tiniest, most overpriced wings I have ever seen or eaten. Food was below subpar. There were more croutons in my sriacha chicken wrap than chicken. They nearly cracked my tooth. This place really makes no point in hiding the fact that they are putting quality to the side and allowing profit driven, money saving, corner cutting techniques drive their business. Such a shame since the atmosphere is cool and energetic. I will not return to purchase food unless its a crab pretzel and a beer. read more

My first time at Arooga's was great! Our server Alexis was fantastic, (ask for her when you come in). The GM Mark has this place running like a well oiled machine. I would definitely recommend the wings and the wagyu burgers. Come check Arooga's out!!! read more

Horrible service. It wasn't that our Server took a while to initially come to the table or that our drink order came out incorrectly or that our food took about an hour to be delivered (salad and tacos). It was the constant excuses and disrespect of the server and his inability to acknowledge that our dining experience was subpar at best. He gave us attitude when asked what could be done for the prolonged wait time and showed no concern for our question other than deciding we could have our one beer and glass of wine compensated (I still wonder if the wine would have tasted good with the salad but one will never know). Now, I totally understand that in reality, this server cares nothing about me as a person and I'm okay with that, however, I am a paying customer and while a server is working they must put on a professional face and act like they have an ounce of respect for the customer. I would know, I worked in the restaurant industry for over nine years. With all that being said, the food was good and while my husband and I have been loyal customers for over two years we will opt to support other local businesses in the area that are in the business to provide good drinks, good food, and a good time. read more

Typically we love coming here and can expect our food pretty quickly. Our server was sweet, so this has no reflection on her. We waited a bit longer for our food today, and my boyfriend had to ask for a box as soon as we got it because he had to leave for work. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap today - BEWARE: according to the manager the wrap doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes, only the sandwich version does... what? It was tiny! If I wanted a snack wrap I would have gone to McDonald's. $10 for the wrap and the Manager asked if I wanted it removed ..I said no, bc I don't like asking for freebies, however, he shouldn't have asked me in the first place. Our server took care of us and removed our meals from the bill. I ended up taking my meal to go also because I felt uncomfortable being there. We will be back, but hopefully will have a better experience next time around. Just wanted some good food and drink, and to watch the Steelers today. read more

This place is great if you want to watch any sporting event. My family and I have been here about a dozen times and not one bad experience. We try to order something different each time and we have not been disappointed yet. I would highly recommend this place. read more

This has been our 4th time here since its opening and so was our best. Allison was our bartender and she was outstanding. She was very attentive and very friendly. It's not to often you get a bartender that wants to talk to customers on a friendly level rather than a business level which actually made us stay longer. Best bartender we have had here and rather any bar in quite some time and we go to a lot of different bars. Food has always been good and the environment is very welcoming for anyone who loves watching sporting events on over 100 different tvs. We will most certainly be back soon. Update 7/27 Returned tonight for wings and beer. Bartender was Stephanie w according to our receipt and I must say she was awful. Gave us beers and menus. Waited at least 15 minutes until she took our order. Requested extra crispy wing which she never put in as the wings came out cooked but soggy. Barely edible. She truthfully spent more time talking to some guy she knows about going to college and being sent home early if it gets slow and making sure everyone closes their tabs so she gets her tips. Probably would have left her a solid tip if she had been barely attentive but instead she got a solid 2$. Well done she didn't even deserve that. With any luck a manager may see this and realize she is just there for shits and giggles rather than being a good solid bartender. Probably won't be back. Thanks steph Another update 2/18/17 Went back again today for yet another crappy experienced. Asked the hostess for a table for 5 and he sat us in some crappy little weird L booth. We wanted to move because it was weird so we asked him to sit up at the high top in the bar area and he basically rolled his eyes and was not happy we wanted to move. We get up to the table and sit down and he tells us he has to clean off the table and we should go wait in the lobby which we did not do because he was so incredibly rude. He proceeded to clear the table at a snails pace and then sprayed the table down with sanitizer and rolled his eyes and continued laughing about it all like his world had come to an end. I didn't catch his name. Short skinny tattooed fellow. Quiet spoken and useless. I'm sure nothing will come of it none the less we have been here several times and the service is ALWAYS terrible. Won't be back for some time unless this improves. read more

The 1-Star is for the great atmosphere. This is hands down a great sports bar, with good beers...and that's it. We have many in Lancaster. These guys spent a lot of money (not much on the TVs, though...42"rs throughout...bring your glasses) to make the old Symposium a really neat facility. The 1-Star is also for the absolute terrible table service, so-so food, terrible table service, bad teamwork among the employees, terrible table service, and a 95% chance your food order gets twisted horribly. Rough. We had 3 different employees lie to us about why our order was messed up. We couldn't stop laughing after each one came separately to our table to blame the other one...and the poor kitchen staff (who prepares what orders they're given). So: - I will drink here - I will watch football here - I will never bring my family/friends to eat lunch or dinner here - I totally understand why Wegman's will not build in Lancaster...the average IQ of the population, and it's potential employees, is scary LOW... I see that in Arooga's Lancaster. read more

Thought I'd stop in been hearing a lot of good things about this place. Great beer specials during happy hour. The food on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the Kobe Burger. I've had other Kobe burgers other places and they were great. Three different times I bit into this burger and hit Rock like pieces in the burger. Totally turned me off. Thought this was a fluke so I revisited the place two days later to order wings. Smallest skimpiest wings I have ever had. The bones underneath the meat were like black and red. Again turned me off. The sauce was excellent though. I will give it at least that. Needless to stay with two bad experiences within the same week I will not be eating their food there anymore. Great atmosphere. Nice place to stop just for drinks. read more

My girlfriend and I have frequented the Arooga's location in Lancaster and it's a shame that we will never be returning. Our most recent visit had to be one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered due to the fact that it felt that we were purposely being ignored. We sat at the bar for at least 5 minutes and saw several employees pass us by without any acknowledgement whatsoever! Not even a ' Hello, I will be with you folks in just a moment'. The gentleman next to us even was able to pay his bill so the bartender definitely knew we were right there. As we sat longer and realized that we would not be able to get service, we left the establishment feeling hungry, upset and embarrassed. We were however, able to go right up the street to The Villa Nova restaurant and enjoy great service, a great meal and a great time. read more

Nothing unique about this sports bar. Typical setting with tons of tv's, fair bar food, and lots of seating. Misses the "hometown" sports feel as there are too many games on and it's such a huge place. I miss Symposium as there was live music and a cozier feel. This is like Buffalo Wild Wings. Real "sports bars" should have sports games (darts, foosball, pop a shot, Golden Tee, trivia etc....). The idea of a sports bar is now trendy microbrews at high prices, no music, impersonal bartenders, and no banter....I'd rather stay home. read more

The food was good, no complaints there. However it took over an HOUR to get it. No checking in from the waitress, no "your food will be up soon" or anything. Just lots of waiting. They seemed to do a cheap remodel job on the place too. The bathrooms are still from the symposium and not touched, old worn out tile and fixtures. Outside of the building looks dingy too, they could have spent less money on TV's and put more into the actual facility. Other than the slow service, the food was good and cooked properly. read more

We have been here multiple times, our name was not put on the list even after we called ahead. We have them our name when we arrived and they still did not write our name down, after sitting waiting and watching other people getting their tables we finally asked and found we were not on the list. They seated us then. Service is terribly slow, it is a shame because the food is good. read more

Unbelievably slow service all around. We came around 8pm Sunday evening. They seemed to have a ton of people working and the restaurant was not crowded, however it took about 20 minutes for us to get seated when they said all they had to do was bus a table for us. Another 20 minutes to receive the drinks we ordered (strawberry daiquiris were awful). And yet even more time for them to take our order. We had about 9 different servers throughout this time. They just really seemed to be struggling on a slow night so I can't imagine when it's crowded. The food definitely wasn't great either. Buffalo chicken nachos were pretty tasty. Burger sliders and fries were awful. Old bay wings weren't bad. My friends who were dining with us also had mixed reviews on the food- Gouda burger-bad, Pittsburgh sandwich-good, wings and ribs basket- not great, etc. read more

A huge menu. So many items to choose from. I had the cheesesteak. By far the best cheesesteak I have had here in Lancaster.

Based on this current visit I would give them 0 Stars but I'm being generous because the wait staff does the best they can with the support they have. This visit I ordered a chicken salad and the chicken was ice cold. So of course I sent back for hot chicken and it came back exactly as I sent it back the same cold chicken that I had cut up previously. I returned it a second time and said just give me salad without chicken and it came back with hot grilled chicken this time. At no point in our visit did a manager stopped to check on us or offer to comp or meal. If this was our first time we would definitely not go back. However we've been there several times and the service was average and other visits. read more

Stopped into this Arooga's location spur of the moment as the place we were going to go was crazy busy for a Wednesday night. Got seated right away with no wait which was nice. Our server was friendly but kind of goofy and he seemed distracted. We ordered our drinks, a tall beer and a water with a lemon and he forgot my lemon. No biggie, just asked for it when he brought the beer. I ordered BBQ wings crispy since it was their wing night and my husband ordered a burger. Food came out pretty quickly. My wings were drowning in BBQ sauce and definitely not crispy so needless to say I wasn't impressed with them. My husbands burger was good but it was by far the greasiest burger he's ever had. There was literally a puddle of grease left on the tray when he was finished. All in all I'd say I'd probably go back in the spring or summer to sit out on their patio and have drinks and maybe try some appetizers as their patio is really nice but there are other places I'd rather have dinner. read more

Similar to Damon's. Typical sports bar/ restaurant. Food wasn't bad. Service was on the lower side of fair. Good place to catch the game

Aroogas is an awesome sports bar. My friend and I got there around 7:30 on a Saturday, and it was a 45 minute wait -- we didn't mind waiting because when we actually were seated service was quick! I had their wings with mildly hot sauce and it was delicious! They also have awesome fries. Lots of food options. They had quite a few beers to pick from as well as a bunch of margaritas. Clean, fast, and tasty. The only suggestion I could make would be to cut down on wait time, but overall it was a positive experience. read more
