2 Entrees and 1 Side Lunch Special Combo
    Austin K.

Food here is really well priced for the portions you get. Sweet and sour pork and pepper steak with chow mien is what's pictured. All for $12.12. Pretty solid. The service is always nice but it's definitely a take out place. I wouldn't really eat inside. The whole strip area isn't really vibing like that.

This is how is chicken fried rice looks like. Not taste, no chicken just a few. It's just rice with vegetables. Horrible taste.

The food was pretty yummy here, just your average Chinese fast food nothing special. The prices are super cheap and they LOAD your plate up.

Hot and sour soup lacks flavor, not standard ingredients
    Michelle L.

Ordered Hot and sour soup and egg rolls. Neither of them are standard like most Asian places and unfortunately very disappointing. The hot and sour soup lacks flavor as well as many of the basic ingredients your typical hot and sour soup has. It has many things that a wonton soup would have like zucchini, mushroom, and bok choy and wonton type shrimp? Very clear liquid very plain. The egg rolls are HUGE but because they are so oily it was gross. They are like little burrito sized drenched in oil, each bite of cabbage was drenched in oil, 0 out of 10. Very disappointing in quality of food as well as waste of money.

Food was great and fresh, this was my first time. I'll definitely be back. Affordable and took 10'min!

Combo chow mein, orange Chicken, and sweet and Sour Pork
    Graciela S.

I ordered from this place via Delivery. The 4 stars is for overall quality of food. Below are my personal opinions of the items I purchased Combo plate with Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Pork & an order of egg rolls. Pros: The food arrived quick & hot. The portions are huge and enough to share or have left overs. My favorite was the orange chicken. I thought it tasted yummy without being too sweet. The food overall wasn't super greasy. The egg rolls are huge! Like really big. There is no meat in them, which I don't mind. They arrive super hot and still very crispy and flavorful. Cons: I wasn't a huge fan of the sweet and sour pork. I found it a bit bland and it was a bit chewy for my taste. I wouldn't order it again. The chow mein was overall good, but it lacked in flavor. Nothing a little soy sauce can't fix. I really enjoyed the egg roll, but thought there was way too much filling. I think if there was some kind of protein it might help break up all the cabbage. I would have liked to have the option to choose two different sides on the app. But that's a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would definitely order from here again. I would probably not order the sweet and sour pork again. But will definitely try other entree options.

    Orange chicken and white rice

The orange chicken is nasty it don't take like orange chicken it was hard and the rice was dry, I asked for a refund and they didn't refund me the money they are rude and charge for every sauce u ask for in the restaurant it don't say anything about them not refunding your money simply rude I DONT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!! Horrible customer service and the cashier has her daughter about 4 years old in the workplace unprofessional

I 2 Entrees and 1 Side Lunch Special Combo Half and Half

I specifically ordered 2 item combo, came out to $13.22 to be exact, orange chicken and beef and broccoli were my specified items, this picture clearly shows the order is completely wrong, and I asked for more chow main than rice, looks half and half to me, and the guy repeated the order back to me, like WTF. Like HOW, how did this happen, I definitely need answers

Originally, we were going to try to hit up Zuzu's petal, but the line was ridiculously long and the parking was a nightmare, so I decided to take her to my 2nd choice, which was Kin Long. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill local, Thai place with food that is more homestyle and tastes slightly above average to hit the Thai food fix. Boy, was I wrong! First and foremost, they have their own parking lot, so YAY! It's starting to sound like my standards are low, but they aren't. OMG- their restroom is clean! JK. From the outside, it looked nice enough, but I was impressed when we entered. It had a comfy, modern, clean, and beachy elegance to it (the lights and that chandelier) without it being stuffy or looking disjointed in terms of interior decor. Servers were very polite and accommodating. I let my friend order since she was the guest. She ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and scampi shrimp to share, and the Thai tea drink with the ice cream bar. I ordered 3 cocktails (Jalapeno + tamarind, Lychee, and Thai tea martini) and they were all good (not overly sweet and weak sauce, but balanced, tasty, and had the right amount of buzz). We had a light lunch since we had AYCE hot pot later that evening (Mikiya - yes I'm a good host). The garlic noodles exceeded my expectations - shrimp were huge, seasoned well, and just cooked through, the noodles were broad, float, tender, and had a slight chewiness to it. The scampi shrimp were huge, tasty, succulent, and cooked perfectly (not surprised since the shrimp with the garlic noodles were so good). NOTHING WAS OVERCOOKED OR MADE ME GO.... "MEH...." and I've been to many Thai restaurants even the highly stylized kitschy ones like Farmhouse Thai in SF. The waiters were very attentive. They made their rounds to make sure waters were filled and all guests were taken care of. It helps they were also handsome too! LOL. I generally find many places nice in the competitive LA, but not nice enough for me to travel from the SGV. However, I will go out of my way to visit KL again to try the rest of their menu (drunken noodles, pork jerky, crab fried rice, papaya salad, etc.) because they left a good impression with me. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food, cocktails, clean restrooms, ambiance was coastal modern, has its own designated parking lot, and service was lovely.

Food came out in a good time, especially considering there was a large party having a birthday party at the same time. We ordered a number of entrees and 2 appetizers. Everything was pretty good with my standouts being the hand-pulled noodles and the tofu & shiitake mushroom entree. You could tell the hand-pulled noodles were fresh and made by hand. The sauce on it was good but too salty. The tofu & shiitake dish was served in a savory and tasty home/brown sauce. The scallion pancake was good as well, just much thinner than other scallion pancakes. The Chinese broccoli was good, but I thought it was more bitter than usual Chinese broccoli dishes. The fried rice was okay.

We were seated and the food came out quickly, but after that, service was a bit slow. We tried several things including the crab and pork soup dumplings, shrimp wonton in chili oil, house beef noodle soup, orange chicken, and walnut shrimp. Definitely a place you can easily have a family style meal at! Crab and pork soup dumplings - really good flavor, wish there was slightly more soup in the dumpling! Would definitely get again, especially if you get their HH price Walnut shrimp - my new favorite walnut shrimp in the area! These came out nice and fresh, shrimp was cooked well, sauce was good balance of sweet and savory Beef noodle soup - broth was surprisingly not as hearty as the deep color would make you think, but still very full of beef flavor. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth! Noodles were nicely bouncy with mild chew. Good option if you are in the mood for noodle soup Orange chicken - unfortunately seemed to be a mix of freshly cooked and an old order as some pieces were warmer than others. Good flavor, but chicken inside the breading was quite dry. Wish it was a bit saucier Shrimp wonton in chili oil - to me had a strange aftertaste. It does have cucumber in the wonton - warm cucumber taste was not for me Inside had a rustic appearance with brick walls and industrial lights. A good place to eat with a few friends and try different things. Would come back for the walnut shrimp and crab and pork soup dumplings!

She did not let me down as we walked in and noticed how truly authentic it was going to look. Chinese decor on the walls and boxes of restaurant supples in the corners. Just as it should be. The bonus was that they had a TV showing the NBA Finals when we arrived. Pretty nice touch and in the back of the restaurant so as not to distract everyone. We went with a couple of our favorite dishes to run along and the Chicken Lo Mein was pretty good. Crispy pieces of chicken and soft noodles and veggies to go with it. We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that. My wife wanted a shrimp dish so she ordered the honey walnut and it even looked good to me when they brought it. She loves egg rolls, so she got a four piece and said they were pretty good. My biggest wow of the visit was their vegetable fried rice. MY GOD. I dont know what they season or flavor it with, but every fork full of rice that i ate, it was this sense of flavor that reminded me of butter or something else. I really loved the sensation i experienced from this particular dish. I am really curious on what it actually is. I will definitely be ordering out or coming in for Chinese because that reminded of many other places that put out fantastic dishes.

We had plenty to share, which is always a plus. The restaurant has a nice family-style vibe, but it's a lot smaller inside than it looks from the outside. If it's busy, it can feel pretty cramped, and you'll probably have to squeeze between tables and chairs to get around. If it's not crowded though, it's much easier to move around. The service was fast, which I appreciated. The only downside was the food runner who brought out our meals. He wasn't very friendly and kind of just set the plates down wherever there was space, even on top of the plates we were already using. It felt a little careless and took away from an otherwise good experience. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight, but because of that experience with the service, it'll probably be a while before I come back.
