We were up this way shopping for elk meat and such at relatively nearby Old Mill Creek Country Store, and dropped in here for lunch. The food quality here is decent, menu is varied (Chinese, Japanese, and Thai), and portions are generous. Dining room was Christmasy and comfortable. Recently dined in after having been in prior to Covid. As expected prices were a little more than before. They have a good variety on their menu. I have not personally had their sushi but they have a good offering. I ordered aThai noodle dish that was very good but not the best I've had. The only thing I don't like is everything is separate so their is no complete dinner offered. If you want soup or egg rolls you have to order them separately. Consistently great. We have eaten here many, many times and have not been disappointed. The Asian Hot Pot is plenty for two and it stays HOT forever! I get the Tom Yum soup when I want something hot and light. I am not sushi Lover but my wife is and keeps trying her way down the menu and says it's fantastic. Walking in the restaurant has a new and clean look to it, nice bar, nice lighting and cool walls. Do not let the outside fool you from trying this fine establishment. The staff is extremely friendly. We ordered take out mongolian beef and white rice. Upon waiting I went to use the mens room. I feel like clean bathroom says a lot about a restaurant, like a reflection of what the kitchen is like. I was impressed on how clean their bathroom was. As soon as we arrived home we dug in! The mongolian beef dinner was filled with meat and plenty of those healthy veggies! The sauce for the mongolian beef is very flavorful and tastes delicious on their white rice. I highly recommend Asian harbor will continue to come back everytime I'm in Antioch. A dream come true! This place is just across the neighborhood, and it's really good. I could ride my bike, if I had one. I tried the spicy yellowtail roll and the Asian Harbor special roll. Both were very good. The egg rolls are fantastic too. Just be careful if you order them. I burned my mouth because I was starving and didnt want to wait. I can't wait to go back. Every day. Till I die. Or go bankrupt. *update* I've been here twice now--second time i tried the pink lady rolls as recommended by many reviewers. It was ok, but if I'm going to eat rolls, I would prefer fish. I wanted to try the Vietnamese rolls but couldn't justify $16 for the pink lady and another $6 for the Vietnamese rolls. We had the egg rolls again and they were amazing. I love the sweet and sour sauce on the side too, even though the rolls don't need it. Also, I don't recommend the Chinese dishes. My girlfriend has tried the king pao chicken (was drowning in peanuts) and the chicken Hunan just wasn't that great. Both dishes seemed fresh, but I wasn't a fan of either. What a little gem hidden in Antioch! My dad referred this restaurant to us because we just moved from SD and still looking for a good sushi spot that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Well this place did not disappoint! The staff was very nice and the restaurant is quite large once you get inside. First time coming here. Was passing by and decided to have a late lunch. This used to be a chinese buffet back in the days when I used to have a place out here in Antioch. I've been going around different towns trying out their Thai foods. This place is great, they have Japanese, Thai and Chinese selections. I haven't tried their sushi but will probably try next time. Our sever Henry was nice and prompt at refilling our drinks. Their pad Thai, seaweed salad and Panang Curry is good and are good portioned. I'll drive an hour to eat here again when ever I'll crave Asian foods. Four stars for now until I come back and try other foods in their menu. I'm pretty versed when it comes to food as I travelled a lot to many states trying different types of foods. This is one of the best Asian place I have been to so far here in Lake County, Illinois.
