I do not recommend this dental office. I was given a plan which listed all the cost of each treatment. When they completed the first part, I was told the cost would be twice of which was quoted in the plan. Right side and left side teeth. Apparently, the cost is per side and nothing like that is ever mentioned in the plan. I asked for an explanation and got a very unclear response. I felt the person trying to explain it to me was inexperience and struggle to explain it. I even asked her for a copy of the plan that was given to me and see said it is not available anymore. That looks a little suspicious to me. This was my first time her and only because it was near my home. Needless to say, I will be going to my old dental office which I had never experienced anything like this. I gave two stars only because the dental hygienist was good and friendly. read more

After being told at another dental office that I had to undergo a surgical tooth extraction (WHAT?!?) before starting Invisalign, I decided to get a second opinion at Aspire. I'm really happy I did because Dr. Darcy Kawamoto was extremely helpful during our consultation. She walked me through the process and I started my Invisalign treatment plan with her within the same week. I'm even happier I didn't lose money or a tooth doing it! I love this practice so much!!! Doreen was the first point of contact and did such a great job checking me in and making me feel right at home! She even asked me if she could take my temperature. (Most places just go ahead and do it without asking). Cindy took me in and looked at my teeth first. She was very gentle when she took my x rays. I have had dozens of dentists throughout my lifetime, I wish I had known Dr. K and her office a long time ago. Dr. K is very diligent, she works very quickly, and accurately. I cannot say enough nice things about Aspire Dental. I had made an appointment to establish care but had to come in a week early due to some excruciating tooth pain. They took me in right away, took some x-rays and found that I had an infection in a wisdom tooth. The office staff made me feel very comfortable about how to treat the infection and made me feel very comfortable about getting my wisdom teeth removed. I had been putting this off for the last year because I had two bad experiences with other dentists in the area. Fast forward a few weeks later, my wisdom teeth are out and I am feeling much better! The oral surgeon on staff talked me through the entire process, took the teeth out and had me out of there within 15 minutes! I made an appointment at 7:30 in the morning for a checkup and I went in at 7:30. It turned out nobody in this office knows how to even take an x-ray....they literally wasted my time on trying to figure out how to take it. This person has never taken an x-ray before and she was the only one in the office.... I got sent back without getting anything done. Wasted an entire month waiting for them to confirm if they'll perform partials based on my insurance coverage. Doreen was very receptive at first when I spoke to her on the phone and I did receive two emails from her. Unfortunately, after several emails and a phone call message to her - dead silence. Nothing irks me more than unprofessional practice, not responding to emails or messages. It would've been very simple for her to say "no, we're not interested in doing partial work for you based on your low budget insurance coverage". Love this practice! Dr K and her team were very warm and caring about my comfort and pain level as I had 6 frontal crowns done and this team (Thank you Chan ) were very professional and efficient! I was anxious at first but they put me at ease and the 2 appointments (yes only 2) were on time and completed with care. I came here for the first time and let me just say that Aspire Dental did meet all my expectations. I'm so relieved that I don't have to find another dental office! Their receptionists Dorreen/Shawna were very sweet and kind. The waiting area was kept clean and tidy, you can tell that they followed the CDC guidelines for covid. I was shortly brought back by Pooja the assistant, she was so polite and caring after she was done with my x-rays. I then met Dr. Kawamoto, she's so kind and also very informative in explaining what I need and wants my next game plan for my dental needs. I took my daughter to this place because I saw the reviews were great. But I am not happy at all after we visited them. This place gave me the impression that they were not honest and professional at all. I was given two different quotations for the same treatments on the same day which is 35% different. The receptionist also calculated the bill incorrectly and I was overcharged another $30.00, not a big amount but should not happen. This place looks like a knock-off shop instead of a dental clinic.
