We were driving through the area. What a lovely find! There were interesting items on the menu worth exploring. I had a pear, fig and arugula salad with poppyseed dressing. My husband had a burger with fries. We were both happy. We had a very attentive waitress. Quiet with nice music

Came here for a late lunch after attending an event in the area. Judging by the parking lot which was pretty full at around 3pm, we thought this looked like a wise choice. We were not disappointed with the food. We had stuffies as an app: very good with Portuguese sausage. I had the fish tacos which were excellent with big pieces of fish and plenty of fries. Awesome mango corn salsa. My love had a chicken and pasta entree called Princess chicken and he loved it. Again large portion and well plated. Food is definitely the stand out here. Service was unenthusiastic and not good about refilling water or checking in on us. I would have ordered a second glass of wine if anyone bothered to ask but it was difficult just getting our water refilled. At one point I busted out my water bottle from our hike earlier in the day and drank it instead because no one was around to provide water. Would recommend based on food and atmosphere but they could do with some improvement in service.

We recently went for dinner at Assados Kitchen to try their Portuguese food. My husband is of Portuguese descent and we both love the food. It was a gorgeous summer day so we opted to eat outside on the deck. It was really nice out there and they had lots of beautiful plants. I both picked the kale and chourico soup ($4. for a cup and $7. for a bowl), we both agreed the Portuguese soup I make is better. For dinner my husband picked the Pork and Clams ($28.)and said it was good, but he would pick something different next time. I picked the Sirloin Fillet Tips ($30.) that came on a bed of rice with a half ear of corn. The tips were dry and much more well done than the medium rare I requested. Our server was very attentive. Our bill came to $102. before tip. If we stopped in again I'd probably stick with a sandwich.

Food service in ambience was absolutely amazing. Food came out quick and fresh. Lots of choices. Great drink menu and I highly recommend.

First time here and I have to say it was pretty good. We had a party of 8 and we sat down fairly quickly. The food and service was exceptional. There were some great options to select from but I ordered the Portuguese steak. Medium. It was made perfectly. Tastes amazing. Comes with 2 types of potatoes and rice. And the pistachio cheesecake was delicious. Capped off with some coffee and enjoyed the ambiance and my family. Will come back again to try some other plates. The server was exceptional and she always kept an eye on us. Thank you.

The food coming out was a little slow and the temperature of the food could have been a bit hotter. The stuffed quahogs (picture didn't come out) were a great portion size and had a nice kick but they were really wet. Not sure if that their style of stuffie or if they needed longer in the oven . All the food tasted great , especially the octopus, it was really tender. Would come back and just get that for a meal along with a bowl of the Kale soup . Waitress was very nice and always checked on us. The inside of this restaurant was really nice and quiet. You were able to have a conversation with someone. It's also nice that they have several TVs around the dining area so if you go out on a Sunday, you won't miss a game.

I got scallops, rice pilaf and mixed veggies. Food and service were excellent. Keeping this one on my list! Thank you Taya!

Great lunch spot. If you are unsure of what to do for lunch they have a little bit of everything. No lunch deals that I know of. Big portions and tasty food. A sandwich is around 14/15 dollars so that's standard and entree items are pricer. $20-30 dollars. Service is great, everyone is friendly. Bar area is cozy and multiple TVs if you want to watch any specific game, but it's not to loud you can enjoy a conversation with your group. Food was good, personally I gotta remember to sub out the French fries, I wasn't a fan of them but my boyfriend seemed to eat all of his.

I have a picture below. We visited RI during the Christmas season, so we not only got to see how lovely this cafe was, but also their awesome Grinch-themed Christmas decor. The walls are filled with cool artwork, but the centerpiece is a mural on the wall of Van Gogh's masterpieces "Starry Night." The owner, Mia, is great to talk to. She takes great pride in what she has envisioned here, and I'm always happy to support a great, small business. She told me about all of their craft latte's and it was really hard to choose. I went with a Gingerbread latte and my wife had the Rhode Islander, which is a latte with coffee syrup. There are so many other drinks to try, so I will probably try to come back while I'm still in town. The latte's were delicious and really such a treat. They also have some pastries, which most are baked in-house. They looked really good! I also love the merchandise they sell which was all local products and things made by local artists. I highly recommend going to Starry Night if you're in the area and skip the chains like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.

The cafe has comfortable couch and plush chair seating, as well as tables with traditional cafe chairs and is decorated so nicely with the starry night theme, and also cat lover decor. So cute! We both opted for iced coffees - my 16 oz Twix decaf latte ($8.50) was ok, but didn't have enough coffee taste - It tasted more like a sweet milk, and it was pretty pricey for the size. I also ordered a chocolate croissant ($5.99), which was very good. Service was super sweet - everyone was very kind and friendly and accommodating with special requests. The house made pop tarts looked delicious, and I would also like to try their biscuits.

They have what seems to be my favorite lettuce, from Little Leaf Farm! The cracked wheat salad was a unique base that was tasty, and the toum was out of this world (they were very generous with it, too). The tomatoes are the grape variety, so still decent in the winter. Olives were plentiful and are Kalamatas. I think the feta is pre-crumbled, which isn't my favorite coming from a restaurant, but was still good enough. Service was pleasant and our food was ready pretty fast. The negative is that the falafel, which was the only protein for each of us, was not very good. It was not hot or crispy, there were a couple of flavors in it we did not like, and it was very mushy inside. We would definitely come back and get something else on our bowls. Even though we are falafel fanatics, and I make my own, the rest of the bowls are good enough to warrant future visits.

I mean, really smart. Food trucks and breweries aren't exactly groundbreaking in 2025, but this pairing works in that way where you can't believe someone didn't think of it sooner. Like peanut butter and jelly, but with more fire and fermentation. Those crusts come out of their mobile oven with black blisters that tell the whole story. Someone in that truck has lost sleep over dough hydration and fermentation times, and you can taste every obsessive hour. The complex, yeasty chew doesn't lie. That leopard-spotted char happens in all the right places, and the bubble structure? You don't get that from quick-rise dough some guy mixed three hours ago. The sauce has this vinegary kick that'll probably make a Neapolitan purist clutch their pearls. But honestly? Sometimes tradition needs a little deviation to keep things interesting. It cuts through the richness and wakes up your palate instead of just sitting there like most tomato sauces. Inside Bravo, it's relaxed without being boring. Lively without trying too hard. They let you bring in glass-bottled Cokes from The Sticks, which seems like a small thing until you realize how many places would've made that weird and complicated. These folks get it. Not usually into Neapolitan? Me either, most days. The truck makes Detroit-style alternatives because they're smart enough to know not everyone wants their pizza to require a knife and fork. The whole setup feels like something someone dreamed up after their third IPA. Which is probably exactly how good ideas should start. It's pizza and beer, done well enough to matter but never so precious that it forgets the point.
