White cake with peach fruit mixed into the filling. Delicious! Not too sweet
    Rumany P.

I have to update my review today. We got the cone pastry, the fruit tart and the strawberry pineapple whole cake. Everything is not the same. The fruit tart is a little tougher and not as flavorful The cake was a lot more sweet and now too sweet for me. There was a little weird after taste as well. I'm sad because this was our go to cake. The people are still nice, but the decoration and presentation aren't as detailed as well. I hope they go back to how it used to be!

Delicious pastries, great for gifting. I liked the cones with creamy filling, pistachio baklava and the zoolbia which are sugar funnel look alike crispy sweet Iranian fritters. Extremely sweet. Nice green boxes.

Rosie at Asal Bakery did an incredible job on my girls' birthday cake! The decorations were absolutely beautiful, and the cake tasted delicious. Everyone loved it, and the kids were especially excited and impressed by the decorations!

I came in here for the baklava. I like my baklava gently sweetened and I don't like rose water or cinnamon. It's just a simple plain baklava, the way I love it. There are a lot of complaints on Yelp about their service, but I thought the ladies who helped me were very nice and helpful. I will continue to come back.

    Maggot from their foods

I bit into it and a bug came out, immediately showing me how filthy their kitchen is. *It seems "Indian Meal Moth Larva". Based on my research, this is the most common pest found in stored, dry goods like flour, cereal, nuts, chocolate, and cake mixes--all of which are used to make pastries. It means their flour is all contaminated. BE AWARE.

Horrible customer service. These people need to train their employees, the lady who gave us the service was absolutely low class and horrible to communicate with. Do not come to this place. Horrible people, horrible pastry . NOT Recommended

Small place but GREAT pastries! They charge by weight for most items so you can get a good portion for a lower price.

The pastries sure looked great but when I got them home I found them to be "old" and not fresh. Disappointing.

This review has been a long time coming. I have ordered cakes twice from Kymoto Co and each time I…read morehave been so happy with my order. To start the process, I emailed Kylie and let her know what I envisioned for my cakes with some pictures attached and the date I needed the cakes. Please note that you do have to order a month in advance. Kylie let me know that there is a minimum purchase of 2 cakes when ordering lunchbox cakes so I ordered 2. The actual cake is vanilla flavor and you have the option of choosing vanilla, strawberry, matcha, or cookies and cream for the buttercream filling. For my mom's birthday, I chose a light purple cake with a cute floral design and strawberry buttercream flavor ($40). The second cake for her birthday had Van Gogh's starry night with vanilla buttercream flavor ($45). For my birthday this year, I ordered a light pink cake with a floral design and matcha buttercream flavor ($45). My second lunchbox cake was light purple with an angel hello kitty design and cookies and cream buttercream filling ($50). It's really cool that you are able to customize your cakes, although it does get pricier as you add more details. The lunchbox cakes come in a circle shape and are the perfect size. There's enough cake to share with a couple people, but it's also not too much cake if you wanted to just enjoy it yourself. :) Once you are set on the details of your order and your pickup time, Kylie sends you your invoice. After that, all you have to do is show up at your designated time to the address provided. Kylie includes cake care instructions for you as well to ensure that your cake stays in good condition until you are ready to enjoy it. I have appreciated the quality of the cakes and I love supporting small businesses so I will definitely order again in the future. Thank you Kylie for your beautiful designs and attention to detail. Your cakes have brought a smile to my face each time and my loved ones have also enjoyed!

Overpriced for what you get--mostly plastic, not pastry art…read more I have mixed feelings about my experience here. While the cake design looked great at first glance, I cannot recommend this business given the $400 price tag for a 6-inch cake. The design is "pretty," but it is misleading. Almost all the decorations were non-edible plastic ornaments, paper printouts, and pre-made models rather than handcrafted sugar work or fondant. For this price, I expected artisanal craftsmanship, not a collection of plastic balls and paper toppers. Once you strip away the non-edible parts, you are left with a basic chiffon cake that tastes no different from a $40 cake at a standard Asian bakery. The massive markup seems to be for the "styling" of plastic toys rather than the actual baking or artistry. It felt like paying a premium for a cake that I had to "disassemble" just to eat.

Moist, fresh, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet. Pickup was smooth, and the cake was ready right on time. When a place delivers consistent quality, friendly service, and delicious results--twice in a row--it's worth shouting out. Highly recommend for birthdays, celebrations, or any sweet occasion! The first two could not accommodate our preference of whipped frosting. Fancy cake bakery was the only one who was willing to work with us as well as be so flexible with the delivery. We learned whipped cream isn't popular in the wedding industry since it tends to melt faster/simply not last as long. We didn't mind, we just really wanted whipped cream. Cindy suggested delivery times that would help the cake last. They were so flexible with us given our taste preferences. We felt so special and so accommodated. We showed her multiple designs and she said she could do all of them! So we ultimately picked the one attached but it felt good to know there were no limitations. The flavors were delicious and the tasting experience was so fun. We are so thankful for Cindy and her team! We got married on 4/23/26 at Orange hill. Thank you again!
