    Cheeseburger with Bacon and Fries.
    Cindy Z.

While in the area trying to kill time, we decided to grab brunch with an outdoor dining since we had our pup with us. Even though their outdoor patio wasn't setup, there was a single table outside on the corner, which they ended up allowing us to sit at. Once we sat down, the waitress was quick to bring us utensils and menus. Not only did she bring us water, she also brought ice and water for my dog --this was so generous for her to be so accommodating. For food, I ordered the Breakfast Burrito ($17) while the boyfriend had the Cheeseburger ($16) with Bacon (+$3). Our food came out quickly and they both also came with potato sides. The fries were super crispy and tasty, but the home fries were just ok. Overall, the food is mediocre here --nothing to run home about. But what stood out to me here is the service with our waiter specifically. She was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire time, so extra star for that.

I loved this place!! DJ playing with music videos on the screen. Classic Colombian food. Perfect spot for a large group of friends or a date night. The service was excellent! I 100% recommend this place

This is definitely a good place for a Friday night happy hour! I came here with my mom and it definitely hit the spot. They changed up the menu and everything but thank god we were still able to get a burger and drinks. Our first round were frozen margaritas and the second round I got a mojito and my mom got a margarita. We always share the Mexican burger since it is massive and it comes with fries; my mom prefers the sweet potato ones. The serve is always good. The girls are always attentive and super nice! That always helps. Both our rounds of drinks came right away and the burger was delicious. Definitely coming here again soon!

I stopped by this cafe for a quick bite. The menu has Colombian and Mexican food options. I ate the chicken burrito which was standard, nothing too special. My sister had the chorizo arepa which was ok. The chorizo had bits that were a little too burnt on some sides. However, the waiter was nice. The restaurant did get a little hot and they did not turn on the AC. They only opened the door which only helped slightly.

I remember this place being lite bites. There's different staff it seems. Their coffee is pretty good. I love the jar my apple juice came in. It's a great place to eat while you're waiting for your cat to be done at the vet office. The inside changed and now they have booths with cool white marble. Theres also a TV on the outterside of the restaurant. I was digging the fact they had music blasting during their morning breakfast rush (adels new album) , it really wakes you up besides the coffee. Our waitress was very nice. We didn't feel like we had to grab their attention they were very on point. ::BathRoom Alert:: Very clean bathroom. The toilet is clean and its one stall. It is unisex. I loved the bright mirror that they have. They have typical hand soap. Let's get to the cost, it's cheaper prices if you're on a budget. It was $23 for two people. I got a Bacon, Egg & cheese. My significant other got egg white wrap with home fries and a coffee. They gave me an apple juice and it tasted a little funny but then again it could have just been my taste buds because I was chewing gum right before. There's a lot of items to choose from and it feels like a mom and pop cafe. For people who don't like the cold I don't recommend you sit in the window area if you get cold easy. I personally love the cold so I was sitting there in a t-shirt and jeans. It only took them 15 mins to bring the food to the table. Very happy with our visit here.

I stumbled upon Gramercy Caf3 as I was out shopping along Steinway Street in Astoria today. The restaurant is located on the busy corner of Steinway and Broadway. I believe they just opened this week. Inside, you can see that it is not a very large restaurant. Most of the tables are compact in size and some of the tables are placed close together. It's a nicely lit restaurant with windows on either side. When I dined there today, I noticed that it got quite noisy. And was amazed that all the food is made from a small flattop near the bar. There is one family bathroom located in the back. At the front of the restaurant are the drinks and some desserts that can be purchased to go. The menu is really large and boast of typical diner fare. With a mish mash of Greek, Italian and Mexican options. I ordered the fish tacos and a side of fries. The fish in the tacos, I think, were the kind that are frozen and premade but otherwise were great. The fish was cooked nicely and was crunchy and flaky. The pineapple salsa and cilantro on top was a nice added touch and gave it great flavor. And the French fries were delicious. So simple but done very well. It was golden brown, crispy and wasn't too salty. On my way out I also picked up a cup of what I thought was tiramisu, but It turns out it was flan. The cups did not have any labels or anything on it. I thought the flan tasted pretty good. Generally, flan tastes very sweet and usually has some kind of caramel topping. This instead had raisins and was not as creamy in texture. Still, it was pretty tasty. Overall, the food and service were good. Everything was cooked properly, and they kept refilling my cup of coffee. They are one of the few restaurants in Astoria that is open 24/7, I think most of them are also diners. If you are looking for a no-frills, quick, casual place to eat, then this is the place for you.

Solid diner spot on Steinway. Floor to ceiling windows were so nice in the morning. They seated us very quickly despite being very busy on a Sunday. Reasonably priced platters, sides and deli sandwiches. Surprisingly big portions. Service: Very friendly and attentive. And Great music. Will come back.

The restaurant felt homey and I could tell there were many regulars and other return visitors, for good reason! Ordered: Masala Chai ($4.50)- this tasted authentic, was nicely spiced, and wasn't too sweet. I only wish the cup was bigger. Steamed momo ($12+)- I like how you have the option to mix and match. We ordered the mixed vegetable and the oyster mushroom and surprisingly I much preferred the oyster mushroom variety. The mixed vegetable momo tasted more earthy to me. Himalayan rice set ($20.5)- this was a very nice assortment- there was rice, lentil dal, your protein of choice- (I chose beef brisket), stir fried cabbage, broccoli rabe, pickled vegetables and crisp flatbread. The only downside in my opinion was that the brisket wasn't too tender and I didn't love the beef flavoring or preparation. The rest of the items were so delicious! I've been thinking about this meal ever since I left the restaurant. You don't want to skip this place.

I just feel like the flavors could have been better on everything I got. I had one dish that the The chili chicken was sweet and spicy but it wasn't particularly better than any other spicy chicken I ever had. The jhol momo tasted cheesy which was unexpected and didn't go with the sauce or broth. The roti was more tortilla sized n pretty flat. Maybe that's just authentic to Tibetan cuisine. The empanada things were fine.

It can be a little confusing to find since it's a stand inside the market, not a separate store front. They carry a pretty wide variety of Asian flavor-inspired breads, pastries, cakes and cookies, including buns and some more dessert-type items. I checked out Progreso for an event this past weekend and ended up buying a few items to go: - matcha marble sponge cake $4.49: was fluffy, light and moist, good flavor of matcha and a light schmear of whipped cream in the middle. Would get this again! - taro cream puff $6.50: this was taro paste (? not sure if that's fully accurate though it felt more consistency of soft whipped taro than a traditional pastry cream) with whipped cream on top sandwiched by what I believe was choux pastry with craquelin. I think maybe because the this was sitting chilled/refrigerated for a while the top craquelin layer wasn't quite crispy anymore, though it looked nice. Personally it was a bit too much regular whipped cream, would've preferred more of a taro pastry cream. - mango pudding with fresh mango $6.50 mango flavor in the pudding was light though it was a nice tease of flavor. The texture was on the firmer side for puddings. The mangos were a bit oxidized though tasted ok, maybe glaze them or do something to maintain the color? Since this is a pretty new spot hope they could make a few improvements and blow it out of the park! I appreciated the owners' enthusiasm for sharing about their shop.

Me and my girl was looking for a coffee shop that was laptop friendly and closed late since we came after work. I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve any alcoholic beverages as I saw a lot of good reviews on that portion. We came, we sat down on a Saturday night. There was only one person at the front and it seemed she was also managing the serving part so it did get pretty hectic at some point. We decided to order the Budae Jigae (Hot Pot), there is no way to alter the spicy level so for those who love spicy spicy, this is for you. Me and my friend was really disturbed by the fact that we were treated some type of way. Maybe it's because we weren't Korean or? Service was slow asf. It took a really long time for them to serve me my iced strawberry matcha drink. And even longer for the food. It was also hard to tag her down, and she seemed pretty annoyed that we had to ask her for multiple items. We were a party of 2 and she only gave us one set of items. I went again by myself the next day to see if it was better service and it was pretty packed. There was actually 3-4 people at the front but even then it was so hard to get someone to take my order, ask for napkins, for the check, etc. While there was no time limit on Saturday, there was a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes on Sunday. would I go again?
