Att uverse was installed in my home. I proceeded to have connection issues for 5 weeks and 4 visits by the techs. I went in and told by a tech as well as the local att rep at the store I would get the genie 2. When tech arrived to install the direct tv he said the genie 2 is only for existing customers ---- Told when I complained that direct tv is seperate from att. Went in yesterday because my iPhone 6 was ill. I couldn't open emails. The emails said they couldn't be opened or downloaded by the server. Apparently, I had outlook and hotmail fighting. Don't want to change the email address I've had for 20 years. ADAN took the time to fix my settings. Got me a new case and put on a new glass front thing. I left happy. I got in my car and the same thing happened again. I went back in the store and waited for Adan to be free. Another aside: he has a very nice, gentle, caring way about him. He really listens to what you say! He played with the settings and ended up deleting Hotmail-whatever from my phone, and played with more of my settings. My phone now works so much better! I can actually open emails and, delete emails and my battery is lasting longer, too. I am soooo thankful I found ADAN! He is very nice and knows his stuff. Thank you ADAN, for fixing my phone. I really appreciate your help!!!! One bad thing: the girl at the door, signing people in is useless. I was in the store for 45 minutes, gone from the store for 2 minutes and she acted like she had never seen me before when I walked back in. She is a idiot! I went into this store after getting nowhere with the nation-wide customer service numbers. I walked in ready to cancel my account. Instead, I ended up talking with Steve F. and he was able to resolve my issue. He definitely saved AT&T a customer. He spent about an hour with me and talking with his customer service contacts. I renewed my contract with AT&T Uverse instead of canceling it thanks to Steve F.. Word of advice: avoid dealing with the nation-wide numbers. People are much more helpful face-to-face. read more

I am so sick of AT&T. I have been a customer of theirs for over 20 years, but service has sucked for the last 5 years. First off, my UVERSE Internet turns off daily between 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Every day! This has been going on for about two months. Resetting or power cycling the WiFi router does no good. I do not have the time to take an hour (likely more) in an attempt to call AT&T as I'm 100% sure they will want to send a service guy out to look at the issue which will cost more than $100. I'm also sure it is not the UVERSE router in my house that is the problem. It may be at a landline remote issue (resetting, etc) so it could be fixed there if they really cared. I'm sure they did a remote update which has broken the Internet connectivity. So, I live with it, even though I'm already paying them over $450/month for Internet, mobile phone, and DirecTv service (1 receiver, minimum package). Secondly, I have two AT&T email accounts (one AT&T, the other an older Bellsouth.net) that have completely stopped working on my iPhone and on Outlook on my MacBook Pro. On the MacBook I recently upgraded Outlook (Jan of this year) at a cost of $250 for "Office Home and Business". Outlook worked for about a month after Office was installed but then stopped working early March at the same time the same email accounts stopped working on my iPhone. Again, I'm positive this is an AT&T issue. I've spent probably over 4 hours on each device trying every combination of POP and IMAP settings imaginable and nothing works. Lastly, on the Macbook Outlook and iPhone issues, this is the 4th time this crap has happened in the last 5 years. I am so done with AT&T. Looking at other options now. read more

Wow..!! I am absolutely amazed with the quality of service that I received from Yousif. I visited this store to get a new iPhone 7 and was assisted by the coolest AT&T representative that has ever walked this earth. Now before I visited this location I contacted nearly every AT&T store in San Diego in an attempt to get assistance with my purchase. I wanted a particular iPhone 7 and I wanted it now. I arrived at this location about an hour before closing and the parking was excellent. I made a short walk to the entrance and was greeted immediately by Mr. awesome guy of the month "Yousif" who is a AT&T associate at this store. Yousif made inquiry into the nature of my visit and did so in a respectful manner. He was even kind enough to offer me a glass of cold water which was greatly appreciated due to the fact that I was quite parched from an intense workout at the gym. Looking good isn't easy.. Just saying.. Now back to my experience at this great slice of Apple heaven nestled in the heart of Santee. Well let's talk about the store itself. Great first impression of the interior of the building which was well organized and extremely clean. The place had a effervescent aroma similar to a fresh mountain breeze. The merchandise displays were well organized and the physical inventory of iPhone accessories in stock was impressive. They literally had everything I wanted in one centralized location. The store was well staffed and it appeared that every other customer in that building was having a pleasant experience. I can't think of a single thing that I didn't like about my experience here. I also noticed that every employee maintained a clean and professional look the entire time I was there. I purchased several accessories for my new iPhone 7 during my amazing visit and the manager himself assisted in making sure that everything was compatible and fully operational with my new device before I departed. I am blown away with the exceptional service that I received from both Yousif and Frank, these two gentlemen embody the true essence of exceptional customer service. Outstanding!!! FYI.. I called and informed them of such and they said I would not be charged. This month I have a 579 charge they will not refund and they have now disabled my phone until I pay. After 7 years with AT&T, I decide to add my wife into my Grandfather unlimited text and data plan from VERIZON so I did. People was very friendly... adding my wife my total monthly bill shall never be over $157.00 and guess what? The nightmare begins first month after that $246.00.... second $329.00 overcharging me for everything and besides this I start experience a lack of services on my phone (no calls, no data, not even a 911 call). In October 2018 I went into the store to inquire about a line for my grandson- I was told I could upgrade my phone and BOGO for the second phone. As the credit for the phone did not show up on the bill, I called in January, only to be told there was no BOGO and I would be paying the $900 for the phone. My older iPhone was "broken", and my wife and I decided to switch her older iphone for my broken iphone, and she gets the new one. This involved transferring two sets of contacts and pictures. CUCO, the tech assistant at the store was absolutely awesome! He took the time to show us the new features on the new phone, transferred all the files, walked us patiently and clearly through the options. He also discovered that my "broken" phone was in fact not broken but just really old and tired (like me). CUCO is a great AT&T tech rep, an outstanding young man, and very, very patient and kind to old guy low-tech savvy folks like me. read more

Not only that employee but we asked to speak with a manager and the manager refused to help us and got an attitude as well. We are thinking about doing away with AT&T for good and going to verizon. I walked in yesterday not knowing what I wanted or even if I was going to go home with a new phone. A gentleman named Ramin was so kind and knowledgeable. . he help me and my mom with all of our concerns . Not pushy very information and even sent all my pictures via Bluetooth so we didn't have to spend time waiting for the transfer of information. Even with the SD card that was corrupted he found a way to transfer everything . I take lots of picture because of my profession. And my contacts. Are important as well. I walked into the santee store and I was greeted by a female with a great smile. Ethan assisted by walking me to his counter and I addressed the issue of my phone not being able to charge. He explained to me that I can take my phone to another facility that can troubleshoot my phone by technician and provided me with the information. He took my phone to test it out and the phone was doing what it is supposed to be doing so he think it can be the USB cable issues and provided me a cable to test at home. He walked me out the store and I was really pleased with his customer service skills. Ethan had helped me once before and each time he helped me, he always provide the best service. When I got home, I plug into the outlet and sure enough it is charging so it is the USB cable problem. Thank you Ethan for providing the best customer service. read more

A very unhelpful and condescending Chris told me we couldn't upgrade because I wasn't an authorized user on the account. I asked him to double check because I knew I was, as we went through that process years ago and I do all the upgrades for our family. He was insistent nothing could be done and we couldn't upgrade until my husband came in. We left and drove to the Grossmont store, where we were professionally treated. Been with them for years. Had to get a replacement phone. Received phone call Santee store to know if they would transfer contacts and photos. I didn't want to lose my pics. Went in 2 days ago. Adan customer service "tech" did the switch. But stated I could use a memory card. Paid $27 for card. Switched contacts and pictures. 45min later home and went to see pics, GONE!! Called tech support unable to find. Went the next day, Adan again could not locate pics, NEVER stated that could not be done. 30min later left VERY dissatisfied. Called tech support again unable to find pics. Suggested to call store mgr Jeff, told me not guaranteed and had a aloof attitude that I would call with such a "frivolous" request. Only thing he would give a refund on memory card. Jerk. Once contract is up I'm not using AT&T. I also have a land line and internet that I'm getting rid of. 1 star and didn't want to rate even 1. I have been with ATT for many years and have been to many stores. I have found corporate stores to be the best, stay away from Independent stores. Now at the ATT store in Santee, Ca, Nolan is the best customer service rep I have ever dealt with. In fact he is one of the best customers service reps of any business I have ever dealt with. ( he is in the top 3) Nolan is patient, considerate, helpful, does not try to up sell you. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the phones, ATT and the industry in general. Any time I have a question he always has the answer. He helped me save money by showing me some items that were on sale. If you look in the dictionary and look up customer service the picture next to it is of Nolan :) Nolan is the epitome of excellent customer service! I do not know about other people's experiences, however, I have never had a problem at that store! I give Nolan an A++ read more

AT&T is the worst service ever. Half the time I am trying to watch the tv, it completely lags or pauses and I need to restart the box. In the last hour, I have done that at least 6 times. You would think for how expensive this service is, that they would at least have a good quality but the answer is no. If you're reading reviews to see if you should get this service or not, the answer is NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do not waste your time or more importantly, YOUR MONEY. Was met by Ernesto, explained the problem, handed him my phone, he massaged it for a minute or two fixed the problem, explained what he did and how to do it if I ever had the problem again, and did this free without making me feel like a three eyed idiot. You can walk in and get a contract that they will walk you thru thoroughly no question is too small or to big.They meet your needs. There is no hidden agenda to sell you what do not need or do not want . I am a happy satisfied customer. Today My 5s called it quits I went in With my dead 5s and my daughter's 6s thinking I was going to do this whole activation jump thru hoop ordeal but nope I was out in five minutes . TERRIBLE SERVICE! Was told an incorrect wait time & then they only had one human working the floor while the others were just fucking around in the back. This one working employee then proceeded to help others before me even though they arrived nearly a whole hour after me. When I confronted them about this they just shrugged their shoulders and said that there's nothing that they can do about the matter.
