Not bad. Not going to be my favorite spot for Thai food, but not bad. I'd be willing to go back and try something else. Good Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon. I really liked the peanut sauce. It was a tad sweeter than I'm used to, but I really liked it a lot. Only bummer was that my to-go cup was only about half full of sauce. Fried Rice was alright. I really liked the giant chunks of tomato and veggies, but it seemed to be a bit lacking in flavor overall. Spring Rolls were huge, but again, a bit lacking in flavor. I'd been wanting to try this place since it opened. It's located really close to me which is a perk. I ordered online through yelp and didn't have any issues. Service was friendly enough. Very good Thai food. Clean establishment with attentive servers and fresh food prepared quickly. I like ordering two stars (for spiciness) and having it be accurate. Meat is tender and fresh, not over-cooked like some places that precook their meats. Consistently good, too! read more

Just had "to go" lunch here for the first time today. I had the drunken noodles with a 1 star spice, with sticky rice, and Thai tea. My sister had the crab ragoons. My sister said the crab ragoons were extremely delicious. The drunk enough noodles were pretty good. I would say 3 out of 5 stars. The "one star"spice was pretty spicy I would say. However, the sad part about this meal was my sticky rice. My sticky rice was wrapped in a plastic that smelt like floral air freshener mixed with lemon. The rice itself tasted like absolute crap. How can you not make rice right ?!! It was the nastiest rice I have ever had in my entire life. Makes me nauseous just thinking of it. I was so excited to finally get my Thai food fix but I was super disappointed, the food lacked flavor, like none at all, and my Spicy papaya salad was NOT spicy at all. Just tried the newly opened At Thai Restaurant off 72nd and Portland since all the reviews are 5 star. This place was alright. Not good enough to be my favorite, but good enough. I ordered a bowl of the Tam soup. Since I love pho soup, I was really stoked to try this kind of soup. The broth was alright, had a really good flavor but all the veggis in the soup were hardly sliced at all, and there was very little chicken it. 3 stars for the soup. The Basil Chicken combo was pretty good, really good taste and spice. I requested level 2 spice but it was barely noticeable. Get level 3 spice if you like it hot. The Pad Thai was ok, a little too much sauce for my taste. Really clean facility though. Service was a little slow, but thats to be expected a little with a brand new place. Again, there are other Thai places that Ill choose over this, but its decent. read more

They're stingy. When ordering lunch for my staff at work and spending over 150.00$ and tipping we basically paid for rice. Their meat, noodles, and soup portions were small and could barely feed four people. They tried to remedy the situation after complaining but seriously were still stingy and I felt like we still did not get our moneys worth in food. Honestly they lost a customer for life. Eating there by yourself or with a friend may be okay but for groups I would not recommend. There are better than places in town. read more

Always looking for good, authentic Thai food, I decided to try @Thai. Very clean, nicely decorated, and decent atmosphere. The menu options are good, but had a number of dishes that suggested that it might be Korean owned (fried gyoza, as well as other items.) The food was very tasty, and the veggies not over cooked...but once again, large amounts of cabbage, which I find more in Korean food than Thai. We have been eating here since a little after it opened. We prefer to eat at home, so we order to go, but the restaurant is always clean, well lit, good decor. When we eat their its always been a pleasurable experience. The staff is great too. The food is delicious. Love getting the lunch specials here, the curry is our favorite. Dinner wise the whole menu is just delicious. Their specialities are great, their chicken pad thai is super good, but their whole curry menu is worth exploring. Some of the best Thai food in Tacoma, if not the best! Every time my boyfriend and I go, the food is perfect. We are vegetarian and have SO many options here, which we love. Customer service has always been great, and prices are reasonable. I really love the mango red curry, and their noodle dishes are delicious too. This was the worst Thai food I've ever had. I've eaten very mediocre Thai food with only a shrug. I could make better Thai food with no experience and no recipe. It definitely wouldn't be good, but it would be better than this. ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR. We ordered 2 and 3 spicy out of 5. I would only hope if you order a 5, it might actually taste edible. Noodles so improperly cooked, they were mushy, so obviously over-boiled but not fried. It was as if someone poured oil over them and heated them for a couple minutes on low heat. Literally disgusting. Hardly any veggies and almost no actual sauce. Not a mushroom in sight, though we ordered drunken noodles. I'm sitting here famished yet typing this review, because the food in front of me is so bad--and I'm really not picky. I've eaten a meal or two at a mail noodle shop. We loved this place! I got curry and my wife got the mango delight with chicken. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Someone else, in their review, said the curry sauce was thin, but mine was the perfect curry consistency. My wife is a pretty picky eater most of the time, but she ate her entire meal in one sitting. Awesome spot! Customer service was great. Called in a togo order and was greeted by a nice funny guy. Made the ordering experience almost as if I was at his table. Not something I'm used to at all. But to get the full experience, you'd have to sit at one of their tables. The setting is nice and even had fresh flowers on every table. Great spot for a quick lunch or even a dinner date.
