The car I got was fine. so far so good. They were helpful answering questions, though not truthful. The car fax was not clean as stated when I called and then drove there and there was minor damage on a car fax report which I could not find and they did not point out. They promised to mail me my roof racks back but suddenly could not figure out how to get them off. Then they wanted to me to pay for shipping. Our agreement was if it was over 100.00, I would help. But the owner called and said he just could not figure out how to get the racks off. I'm a 60+ year old woman, I put them on and I'm sure they could figure how to get them off. But no. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I bought my 2014 Nissan Rogue here a couple of months ago for around 11 grand. Recently, I drove it to San Francisco (I'm from sac) and it died 30 minutes before I even reached my destination. I had this whole ordeal to tow it all the way back home, which cost me a lot of money. Then, I come to find out my transmission whole body needs to be replaced because the 4th gear is messed up. It would cost me $4,500 to replace the whole transmission body, $6,000 if I were to get a brand new one. That is more money out of my pocket than I planned when I first decided to buy a car. They are a scam!! I was a first time car buyer and they took advantage of that. They only want your money. They do not care about taking care of you or selling you good quality cars. He yelled at me over the phone as I was trying to discuss the price with him and said that I wasted his time because he held the car for me even though I never told him to. Yes, I was interested in the car and was in the process of the application but to yell at me for it I don't even know what to say. They also offered me an out the door price of 14,400 at 14.37%APR for the car I was looking at. Which was a 2016 Honda civic Lx with 108,000 miles. Can someone let me know if that was a good offer. Terrible, terrible service at this establishment. Came in during the week and they didn't have anything in their inventory that met what I was looking for. But I came back on a Saturday when some new cars came up, and really liked one. When I asked to test drive it, the salesman told me the manager doesn't allow a test drive until AFTER you apply for the financing. Why in the world would I run my credit and apply for financing on a car I haven't even driven?!?!?! Sounds like a scam to me. We bought a car back in April 2024. They didn't wash it, or give us a full tank of gas when we left, or walk us out the door after we bought it. We should have known then our luck with it. We get home. We can't get the gas door open. Good thing I didn't run out of gas. I had like 3 miles left til empty when I got home from the gas station, trying to push it open. It was a broken latch. Then my car stopped starting with the push start and remote key fob. We figured out it was the key fob battery and did not have to replace the key fob. Thank goodness. Then the dreaded engine light came on! He said the oil had been changed recently, but the change oil light came on. I don't know.....its all strange. This was all less than two weeks after got the car. I still have to take it in to get it looked at, how much will that cost me? This is a 2015 VW Tiguan. It was not cheap. Not even a week later, the tire pressure light came on the dash. Then we noticed there weren't new tires on the back. We may have missed that, but we thought they said all new tires. We ended up having to replace the back tire not even two months after getting it, due to the side blowing out. It cost us $169.00! If you buy it, I would take it to a mechanic definitely.. don't just trust the carfax!!! buy the extra $750 special thing after, don't worry about the warranty, it will suck anyways. read more

I went to Nissan of Elk Grove to get some help, they said that sb was "Trying to fix the heat shield on the bottom" but it still make noise when I drive. And I need to spend almost one thousand to fix the problems. The dealer did not give me a fair price based on the damage on the car! I went in to test drive a specific RAV4 adventure at this lot last week. It's not a huge dealership and it has many one star reviews but I did not let that deter me. I had been searching for a month to find a good replacement for mine that some fool had destroyed on the way to Tahoe. I drove it, I loved it, and so I put down $500 to hold it. I was working with a very kind man named Kevin. He made it clear that if the inspection at a nearby Toyota found the car to be okay, the money would go towards the purchase, if they found an issue with the car, that would dictate him returning my deposit. I understood and went home awaiting the appointment and the inspection. In the meantime, I found the car of my dreams at my local Toyota - this car had everything and so I bought it, being ready to lose my $500. I did have a $600 rental bill coming up so I called Kevin to let him know I would have to pass on his nice car and could he perhaps refund half of my deposit. He explained that it was not our agreement, I said yes I know I just thought I would ask. He then said, " I'll refund it all" I was not sure if he would, I just checked my bank, it is all there. We just purchased a minivan from here about a week ago. After a few days of driving we noticed a clunking sound under the car. When my husband looked under the car he found a very loose bolt on the front sway bar link. Also the key fob did not work to open all the doors. On the drive home we noticed the passenger window did not roll down. Forgot to check that previously. Also about a week into driving now the passenger back slider door doesn't lock. Also as we came back to look it over again we noticed under the passenger side mirror was broken but decided we could live with at. First and foremost, I never leave reviews but unfortunately I could not stand by and let the same thing happen to someone else. My father purchased a car from Atlantic Auto Sales back in October 2018 for a great price. I think that's how they get you, their "deals." In any case at the time of purchase we were provided a clean CARFAX report by the owner. The car was for my younger brother to get to and from school. Come summer time, the car started overheating and eventually wouldn't start. This is a 2015 Honda, you wouldn't think you would have issues when we only drove it for 5k miles. After having Honda take a look, we come to find that not only does the car need a new engine but has been in a prior accident. We were told it had not been in any accidents and the CARFAX speaks for itself, that's not the case. The repair cost was equal to the purchase so we decided to discuss with the owner. The level of customer service was disturbing. The owner denied ever knowing the history of the car, reverting back to the "clean CARFAX," and essentially telling us they couldn't do anything for us. All we were seeking was to at least come to a compromise so both parties could deal with the issue and move on. The owner's lack of compassion and terrible customer service further destructed her credibility as instead of looking us in our eyes, she turned her back to file and do other things, or shake her head, and again avoid eye contact. After further research, dealers can potentially "hide" accidents if they turn around and sell a car before CARFAX receives the accident report. We don't know who is completely at fault but do know that we were sold a vehicle with serious damage without full disclosure and treated terribly. The owner mentioned that their mechanic checked out the car when they purchased before selling, I have a hard time believing that they missed the clear ties under the car instead of bolts. In retrospect, they slashed 2k off the asking price when we purchased and were probably trying to pass along the problem. We paid 12k and the car now is worth $500. Just beware because I would never want something like this to happen to anyone else. read more
