Came here yesterday. First time after Covid 19. The restaurant has a bit of update and looks great. Food is again and always excellent. I don't think there's a better restaurant in any other casinos since I have tried them all. Atlantis is a very well run casino/hotel and has the best restaurants anywhere in Reno. The steakhouse, Bistro Napa and the sushi bar are always excellent. Staff is well trained and managers and staff always remember me even after my last visit pre covid. My daughter ordered the ratatouille, and oh my was the presentation amazing! It also tasted great! My husband got the Kobe beef steak with crab. This is our second time here. Food is amazing. I had the filet and the wife had the bison. Our server Forest was just ok. His assistant Ron was spectacular. Friendly, fun and probably should be a server. If I had one complaint again.....it would be the $35 corkage. There are many other top restaurants that charge us no corkage. read more

I have eaten here probably about 6 times. We used to love it. I would say though, our last 2 trips weren't very good. They were mediocre. I don't think the pandemic or lack of staff had anything to do with it, it was just meh food. Great service though. My sister's stomach was cramping to the point of having to sort of hold her up when we left, but I believe it was due to the server not understanding what gluten is. We came 9/21 and the prime rib was $46, it was very chewy and tough so that was disappointing for my friend on her birthday, but the dessert was yummy. I would recommend the steakhouse try to revamp that menu. I have never had bad service though so there is something to say for that. read more

This was an outstanding meal. The ambiance is very classy with an underwater theme, mildly dimmed, with light background music. You can definitely have nice conversations with your friends while you are dining. Cocktails are 14 dollars but they are hand crafted and have some unique flavors. I had the smokey Paloma and it was delicious. It had a grapefruit and tequila base with a hint of smokey flavoring which reminds me of a scotch. The wine menu is mostly pricey but the per glass price has some reasonable prices. My fiance enjoyed the Asti sparkling wine for 9 dollars. The duck horn merlot is well priced at 21 dollars for a glass and had a generous pour. The food was overall excellent. The beef wellington was an incredible dish. It was tender and perfectly cooked with a seared outside and pink center. It was an "open Welington" so it had the pastry only on the bottom side. The "foie gras" (duck liver) was soft and bursting with flavor. The pastry was an excellent compliment but did not take over the meaty flavor. I had the American kobe (wagyu) cooked medium rare. And was done very well with a nice sear with a pink center. This was a very good steak and was dry aged 28 days. With a subtle nutty flavor and extra beefy flavor which is typical for dry aged steaks. For sides we enjoyed the corn with a kick and Mac and cheese the best. This is the best restaurant I've ever been too hands down! My girlfriend and I have been twice now and both times the food has been phenomenal and the service has been impeccable! The most recent time we went was for our first anniversary together and it was an amazing time. I can't remember our servers name but they were AMAZING and on top of everything. I don't think my water could get below halfway before they were refilling it. Most steakhouses are à la cart but this one is different! You get choice of soup or salad, and the steak gets served with roasted garlic, mushrooms, and bone marrow! To top that off they give you truffles and a Togo coffee cake which is BOMB!! If you're looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, Atlantis Steakhouse is a great choice! The service was really great and attentive. Our waiter came to check up on us frequently so we were never waiting on him. As for the food, everything that we ordered was delicious. To start, we ordered the Classic Caesar salad. It was a good basic salad and nice that they prepare it tableside. We also ordered the crab cake appetizer and it was a big enough portion to easily feed two people. For the main meal, my boyfriend and I both ordered the filet mignon (I had the 8oz and he had the 12oz) and both were very generous portions- definitely more than the sizes on the menu. All the steaks come with an option of soup or salad, mash potatoes, and mushrooms. Everything tasted great and the meat was cooked perfectly! The soup of the day (seafood chowder) was very tasty as well. Overall, the Atlantis Steakhouse was a really great experience. I mean...it's delicious. Service by Lexie (helper) & Chase (waiter) was excellent. The bartender in the lounge, Fernando, was equally as gracious. The food is fabulous, both in presentation and flavor. They started with an amuse bouche that was a cucumber with dill crème fraiche and smoked salmon on top - lovely little palette cleanse. We started with the seafood tower for 2 (1/2 lobster tail, 1 crab leg, 1 lobster claw, 2 large prawns, 2 oysters, & a delicious crab meat mix. Market price for that last night was $200 for 2 people. That felt pricey for sure. We will do the tuna tartare next time and save $175. For dinner, we had 8oz filets with the house salad, French onion soup, lobster Mac & cheese, & asparagus. Filets were perfectly cooked, well salted, tender & delicious. The lobster Mac had nice chunks of lobster and oodles of cheesy yumminess (they use shells instead of elbows for the pasta). For dessert, we had the cheesecake and the 361 degree ice cream (last night was coconut & chocolate chips), both of which were excellent, but the ice cream was the surprise hit for us. I have been coming to the Altlantis Steakhouse for several years now. Last Saturday night, I made a reservation and arrived excited about the evening. Sadly, our more recent visits have had service and quality "hit and misses". We ordered a filet for me and prime rib for my significant other. Both arrived to the table lukewarm at best. I venture a guess that both plates sat for some time before our server brough them to our table. I told our server and she just said "hmmmm, that's strange". We didn't stay for dessert. Rather, we put what was left of our meal into the take home carton and headed out. The steakhouse is so nice and not inexpensive by any definition. This was a big disappointment. We went here for our anniversary since it was supposed to be amazing. The overall ambiance was great and it was a very nice restaurant. We started with drinks, and I got the Smoked Manhattan but with Frey Ranch instead of Bulleit - it was amazing. My pregnant wife got just a strawberry soda, which was also very good and fresh-tasting. My wife got a shrimp cocktail appetizer which was very good but very expensive for only six shrimp. We then ordered our food, and each bought a steak. We didn't go crazy with the steaks but went at least an option or so up and got the dry-aged option, which is supposed to have a bit more flavor. Then we ordered a bourbon bacon creamed corn dish to try on the side. The food arrived and we started with the steaks. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. While both of ours were cooked just fine (medium), they were not very tender at all. They also didn't have nearly as much flavor as other places we've been to. Normally, I'd eat the fat and all and clear out the steak. This time I was cutting the fat off and just trying to get my money's worth - which was never going to happen. Then I tried the bourbon bacon creamed corn, which I was pretty excited about. Unfortunately, that was a disappointment as well. It was sooooo strong. Each bite tasted like I was doing a shot of bourbon - and this is coming from a bourbon/whisky lover. It overpowered every other flavor. It was like I was spooning chunky bourbon into my mouth. No real taste of bacon, corn, seasonings, etc. Just bourbon. Both dishes were a disappointment. Normally I don't have leftovers from a steakhouse. This time, I not only had leftovers but honestly probably won't eat them. With the two drinks, one appetizer, two lower-cost steaks (but not the cheapest), an extra side dish, and a tip, our total was just over $325. We normally go to Duke's in Sparks - which I now know has far better steaks, and after we get a couple of drinks, steaks, desserts, and tip, our total will only be ~$245. Haven't had Western Village steakhouse in a long time but I would at least recommend you save a chunk of money and get better food at Duke's. Service was great, food was not. read more

This place is AMAZING. We ended up here because the buffet line was forever long. Since it is my birthday weekend, we went hard at this restaurant and OMG. Just OMG. The service was perfect!! I felt under-prepared for the upscale nature of this restaurant but our servers (Jake and a woman who's name I forgot, sorry!) made us feel so comfortable! This is a "hot towels at the table" kind of place. I wished I had worn something with sequins instead of a sweater from Target. They brought some rose petals since it's my birthday weekend. We celebrated my birthday here. I LOVED it! Our servers Alex and Quinn were wonderful always around to pick up dirty plates and even bringing new utensils and taking the dirty ones, I never had any restaurant do that! I came in solo on a weekday evening and was seated immediately even though my attire was not that of a fine dining experience, they were happy to welcome me. Took myself out to a fancy dinner here during a trip to Reno back in 2013. The memory just popped up on my Facebook page, so I thought I'd share a quick review. From reading recent reviews, it looks like this restaurant is still very, very good! I remember how delicious everything was, and the wait staff were very attentive without being annoying. I had the filet and diver's scallops, along with mashed potatoes and button mushrooms. It was cooked to perfection. Along with my Lemon Drop martini, it was a memorable dinner, for sure! Eight years later, and it still rates as one of the best meals I've had.
