I have to admit, I deleted my original review here because I changed my opinion of this place. And I love coming here now! This is my 3rd time here with my Husband since our initial visit- and I have to say, Ato has become my FAVORITE hand roll bar so far! There's been a huge improvement since they newly opened, and one thing I can appreciate the most is that this business (especially their Chef/ Manager) take your constructive feedback seriously and actually implement change. Service, menu, food, ambience, and experience are all AMAZING and IMPRESSIVE. I'm a definite fan now of Ato, and I look forward to continuing to be an avid and regular customer. I checked out the new hand roll bar in Fullerton and it was delicious! The rolls were super crispy and the fish was so fresh. On top of it, I accidentally spilled my soy sauce all the floor and all the staff was so nice and sweet, assuring me it was okay and took care of cleaning it. 10/10, food & service, will be returning. read more

Really sad that my ATO tuna hand roll was just chunks of tuna and what seemed to be soy sauce vs the original amaziiiiingness from before. I don't know where to even start. The hand rolls are hands down the best I've ever had. Everything had an amazing flavor. My taste buds were in heaven the whole time. I wanted to dine-in, but since it was late, I ended up getting takeout. Even though the closing time had passed, they kindly agreed to prepare it for me, and I was very grateful. Their packaging is very impressive; the seaweed and rice were separated, so when I got home, I could still enjoy crispy and fresh rolls. The fish inside was fresh and delicious, and the proportions were just right. I'm so happy that a fantastic hand roll place has opened near my home. Came in on a whim. Pasha greeted us and was the sweetest and most attentive person to take care of us. Anthony made the most delicious hand rolls. Everything we order was great. Ordered the 6 roll set, assorted skewers (3 pc), and miso soup. I was impressed at the simplicity of the roll and how the fish and rice were well balanced in proportion to each other. The seaweed is crisp and light. Easy to rip my teeth through for the bite. The highlights for me were the Hokkaido Scallops and house made Yuzu sauce. Took a quick visit and sat down for a quick dinner as I was getting off from work. Tried their 6pc set + couple more handrolls that was not included in a set and all the seafood ingredient was flawless in my book. Seaweed and rice was decent too.
