My first time trying atoyubu after being teased in social media! We got the fresh salmon, spicy tuna and crabmon 1. Fresh salmon (4/5): def one of my favorite since thw salmon was really fresh! It is lacking flavors tho, I only tasted rice and tofu skin 2. Crabmon (3/5): blue crab meat wirh salmon on top, the picture looks like it comes with a lot of salmon but it was def not. Flavor was ok 3. Spicy tuna (2/5): my least favorite. They used buldalk sauce for this and it's actually really spicy. Tuna didn't taste very fresh so I was a bit disappointed All of these come with a lot of rice and barely any fishes so I was a bit disappointed. I'd maybe come back for a light snack like the fresh salmon

Came here a couple times already and the food is always super good. It's typically self order on the kiosk which I recommend cuz you can actually see the photos while you order but if it gets busy they can take your order at the register. There are a variety of options so it's really hard to choose from cuz I'm hella indecisive. There's plenty of seating if you want to chill with your friends.

Hidden and almost a hole in a wall, but very popular by word of mouth & I agree why this place is loved by Yelpies. Parking is readily available and love that it's in the same plaza as Jam Jam. The restaurant is clean and bright with good amount of seating. Kiosk ordering is nice, but staff did take their time to check if we were first timers and make recommendations since their selection is huge! The flavors are fantastic & there's so many unique options. The portion is generous. I actually ended up liking this place a lot more than expected & Will definitely come by regularly for team lunches.

My friends and I came here for a quick lunch before playing some pickleball and it was the best preworkout meal. Each yubu pocket comes filled with rice and toppings so it is quite filling. The space is very clean with adequate seating and the food is made to order but comes out very fast. They have a lot of different variations so everyone is bound to find something they enjoy here!

If you're craving for a good "football", this place is good. They fill the tofu skin up with equal parts rice and toppings. I was a little sad that there wasn't a lot of roe on the creamy myungran though. We ordered the popping spicy salmon, fluffy egg, spicy tuna, lemon pepper salmon, fresh salmon, and crab meat. I must say that my faves were the crab meat, lemon pepper, and popping spicy salmon. Regardless, menu has lots of options and the service was great.

Sushi rice wrapped in tofu skin topped with meat. That's basically it. But they make basic taste so good and so convenient to order do a quick pick up to-go. QR Code menu, online ordering or in-person, my order ready in under 5 minutes. Open space floor plan dining area within, clean look and feel. Quality and taste is better than I expected. Definitely would return for more! We got the: Fresh Salmon Yubu Popping Spicy Salmon Crabmon Baldak Yubu My favorites are the Fresh Salmon Yubu & the Crabmon. Averages out to be $6.11 each after tax. On average, it'd take 2.5 Yubu for me to be full. They do recommend at least 2 to 3 to make it a meal. So expect to spend around $18 for a decent meal.

Very fresh and tasty! This was the first time I have visited and it was wonderful. Plenty of green parking available in the plaza. Everything is prepared fresh to order in front of you, kinda like subway style. Very filling and this is also sharable - to good for individuals or for groups.

Quick lunch. Good and fast friendly service. Same like when they opened. Modern ambiance. Many people do online order or pick up for faster service. This place is not as crowded as other locations. Located at the back corner of the plaza. Only if you know, you'll come. SYOY!

Good place for a chill lunch with a laidback open vibe. You order on the kiosk and they call your name when it's ready! The portions feel smaller to me than the one in ktown but the flavors were on point and great! They have a nice variety of fish and flavors to choose from and also have raw and cooked which was nice. I loved the eel and lemon salmon and thought the tuna was just okay, nothing special. The eel was a surprise standout and was super buttery with a balanced sauce. The lemon salmon had a good texture but I thought there was a little too much lemon on mine. The tofu pocket and rice are slightly sweet and give a nice balance to the umami flavors of the protein. Parking is easy and keep in mind they take a mid day break and are closed then!

First time trying this place cause I saw it on tiktok...thought I'd give a try. You order on the iPad and choose the different flavers I got "Grilled Eel, Popping Salmon, and Garlic Crab". It was amazing! You can tell a lot of effort goes into the ingredients the preparation of each meat individually taste great. I went when it wasn't too busy the place is small but there's alot of chairs to eat in. The service was quick & standard! It takes awhile so I'm assuming when's its busy expect a longer wait for the preparation so a 10-15mins depending on who's in front of you. Definitely give a try!!

I like about 75% of the menu. The remaining 25% I don't. Buldak sauce in inari is just strange. I don't like the chemical taste. It also feels lazy Asides from the buldak flavors some taste great like the crab. I do wish there were more raw fish options Hit or miss but it hits more often than it misses

Tried 2 flavors of atoyubu - ginger tuna and lemon pepper salmon. Both were pretty good but I liked the lemon pepper salmon more, though I normally like tuna over salmon. I think I expected the ginger tuna to be more refreshing? But it ended up being more mild and sweet. I think next time I would try the spicy tuna. The spicy pork or grilled eel also looked good so I might get those next time! I liked that the rice and tofu skin weren't too sweet like many other inari / yubu chobap that I've tried before. I went around 12 on a monday and it was pretty empty!

My friend and I have always wanted to go to Buena Park to try Atoyubu but had never had the chance. We were very excited to hear that they were opening one up in Walnut! We came on a Friday night around 7. There were quite a few people but the service was very fast. You order on a screen and wait for your order to be called. Fresh Salmon was my favorite. Very simple but fresh and tasty Spicy Tuna w/ the special spicy sauce was a lot spicer than I had anticipated but it was still yum Grilled Eel was nice and smoky from the char Garlic Butter Crab was good, nothing too special just some imitation crab We'll definitely be coming back to try the other varieties. Oh and they also give you lollipops as a sweet treat :D read more

This place has been my go-to spot for a quick, delicious stop for lunch recently! I've always been a big fan of yubu (tofu pockets), and this place definitely doesn't disappoint. Personally, I find that two yubus are pretty filling for a meal, which comes out to around $10-$11.The prices are pretty reasonable, and the service is always great and welcoming. The staff are happy to answer any questions I have about the menu options, which I really appreciate. The water is self-serve and you order through a kiosk so there isn't a need for too much interaction in the first place. There's only one kiosk, but I've never been when its so crowded that there's too much of a wait. For extra convenience, you can also order ahead through the Toast app. The interior is clean and modern. My personal go-tos are the Garlic Butter Crab and the Fresh Salmon, and their Spicy Tuna is actually pretty spicy! Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area and craving something quick and delicious! read more

Atoyubu went viral in Orange County and it's finally in the San Gabriel Valley! It's a Korean shop that specializes in yubus, tofu pockets stuffed with seasoned rice and your choice of protein. You can get toppings like salmon, bulgogi, garlic butter crab, fluffy egg, pork belly, and many others They have over 15 yubus to choose from and I love how they have both savory and sweet options. The best part is that these delicious snacks are only $5-$6! The grand opening for their Diamond Bar location is on Saturday, March 15th, and they plan to introduce new items! read more

Ordered the top 5 recommended! Delicious delights! The spicy tuna one was a bit spicy they stated it was 3-5 times the spice of siracha and they were not wrong! Kind of reminded me of buldak spice. Inside seating is limited and it takes about 15-20 minutes for the food to be done. I recommend arriving early for seats but people seems to leave quickly as well. They also have free WiFi! I recommend using the gloves to eat because it can get messy! Overall I highly recommend the salmon and the scorched crab meat. The workers were very nice and they had a lot of different options to try! My friend didn't like seafood and said the bulgogi was delicious! read more

We rated the Buena Park very high for great tasting food. Go see the reviews in that location. And this one surpasses it not only because of the food and service but plenty of parking unlike BP. Imagine how happy we were to learn a location is opening closer to us! My son was the first ever customer when they had their soft opening last weekend. A family favorite!!!! read more

This is the second location I have visited and it's as good as the first. Located in a random plaza corner, you can easily miss it. However, the food is still fresh and the staff extremely helpful. You order via a kiosk and everything including played and condiments are self serve. I went during off hours, so the place was relatively quiet. This is a great place for a quick bite. I recommend the salmon and the egg flavor. read more

Really like this place but I tried their newest totospos yubu and it was pretty bad. The nacho chips were stale and the whole thing was covered in it. I understand soggy since I picked up the order but stale is a bad look for their most expensive one. It was pretty salty and over sauced too. Stick to the original ones and you should be fine. Service is good. read more

Really good!! All their fish ones tasted really amazing as well as their mentaiko one that was definitely my favorite. The service was pretty good but not anything that stood out really. The ambiance was pretty nice but the most memorable thing was the taste, it wasn't too sweet and tasted amazing. It tasted way better than the ones you would get at a convenience store. read more

Very nice place and the selections are interesting. The ordering is not great if there's a line since it's just one kiosk. The ingredients and all are fresh with their grand opening. Hope they keep things the same. I don't love their spicy tuna which has some kimchi style sauce instead of traditional spicy tuna. The salmon and the garlic imitation crab is good read more

I've been wanting to try Atoyubu for a while now but their Buena Park location is pretty far for me so I had not gotten the chance to go yet. I was thrilled to find out they were opening this DB location because it is much closer to me. They are kind of tucked away in a back corner spot of a busy plaza where BBQ Stop is. Came today during their soft opening and the store was spacious, clean, and the employees were nice. As for the food we tried: -fresh salmon (4/5) -grilled eel (3.5/5) -fluffy egg (5/5 favorite!) -lemon pepper salmon (4.5/5) -myungran crab (5/5) -tako wasabi (3.5/5) -original/plain (4/5) I definitely got a little carried away and ordered way too many for my appetite because these guys were way bigger than I expected lol At first I thought they would be full of mostly rice but actually I was pleasantly surprised how generous they were with the toppings. I also loved that they torched some of the tofu pockets because it added a really nice flavor! read more

Very techi based when ordering food. So my take on the food was okay, not really what I expected based on other reviews. I expected this to be hot but biting into it, it was more on the colder side. The wrap that holds everything together was a like a crepe with a mild sweet flavor. The filling was good but nothing amazing. The chipotle was very strong and could hardly taste the salmon. The bulgogi was good but nothing amazing, garlic crab as well. I think the better one was the lemon pepper salmon. THEY ALSO CHARGE FOR HOT SAUCE SO MAKE SURE YOU TAKE IT HOME OR EAT IT and yes it is spicy. They were friendly and helpful and the place was clean. I'm glad I tried it once but I don't think I would go back for more. read more

Visited around 7pm, only a few tables filled. Workers were polite and friendly, greeting everyone coming in and when they leave. They also ask if customers have any questions while placing their order on the screen. It seems they could have 2 screens or allow for verbal orders if it does get busy. I ordered 3 yubus, which are ones I wanted to try at Buena Park but are usually sold out close to closing (at least a few months ago the first time I tried it). I didn't dine in, but if you do they have miso soup (with free refills). I think the quality and taste of the yubus is good, most of the flavor is going to be on the top, which should be expected. I do think there are plenty of flavors for anyone to try whether you eat meat, raw fish or are vegetarian. I may have suggested this at the BP location, but I think there could be more customers if there was a sort of discount or "combo" for buying multiples, like 6 or 12 to save a dollar etc. They advertise that it's cheap good eats but a lot of people with big appetites would probably need to get at least 3 or 4 to be full so it doesn't end up as affordable when you have to buy so many yubus. (Maybe why they offer the soup to buy on the side?) Anyways, I have other flavors to try, the wait when I went was under 10 min to order and get my food, workers are friendly, the place is clean, so I will definitely come back! Warning about parking - decent amount of spots but some are very small and also could be hard to access if you go towards the end of the plaza where they are located. read more

Friend introduced me to this and brought 4 pieces for me for dinner. Forgot to take a photo but it was really good and decent size/portion. When it say on fire it is really spicy (at least for me - a person eats minor spicy) so better watch out. Didn't finish all of it and ate the next day, it was still good rice wasn't harden -- ok to eat it as is. read more

The tofu skin was sweet and complimented really well with the saltiness of the torched pollack roe. The lady at the counter was really sweet and the food came out really quickly. It smelled AMAZING. my favorite was probably the imitation crab and pollack roe one read more

We came late for lunch and had a great meal experience. We got a quick explanation of the menu and suggestions that helped us figure out what to get. All the food was made to order and presentation was spot on. All the food was unique, delicious and fresh. I thought I'd be weighed down from all the rice but everything was well balanced and felt light. Such a great concept. I recommend going with others so you can try as many different items as possible. read more

I've been wanted to try this place for a few weeks. Today, I finally had the time to try them. Guys, Go and try them. The place was clean and that's most important to me. The young girl behind the counter was super polite and friendly. The food, it's was delicious! For me, the fish need to be fresh when comes to any type of sushi and secondly, the rice must be fresh and seasoned it right. They delivered both the freshness of the stuffing and the rice was warm, fresh and seasoned it well. I brought it home and ate it so fast because it's was delicious. Definitely, will be back when I'm in town. read more

Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Ive always wanted to try this place but it's always been too far so when i saw there was a new location located in Diamond bar I had to try it. I got the salmon, tuna yuzu, and crab and my bf got the other set. It was flavorful and the fish was fresh. I would say this place is more of an appetizer than a meal because it wasn't as filling as I hoped for the price I've paid. They're about $5-6 each depending on which flavor you get. Overall though, I did like the food and I would come back to try other flavors. read more

Finally they opened one close to my home! My favorite was Myungran. Very flavorful and I loved the portion. Place was clean and the whole staff was super friendly. Owner was very nice also. Always glad to be supporting a family run business like this one. Creamy Myungran is a must! read more

With each dish, you get a choice of spiciness levels and rice or noodles to go with your dish. There's also an assortment of dipping sauces for you to use, I like to combine all three to make a nice dip. Take your time to eat, they can add more broth to your pot if you're running low or even replenish your flame if it dies out during your meal. Or if it's too hot, you can always ask them to turn off the flame for you. It depends what you like or are craving, my personal favorites are the beef, lamb, milk cream curry, and Japanese miso. I visited and left feeling incredibly disappointed, so I can only give it 2 stars. The biggest issue was the food itself. I ordered their rice pockets, but they were almost entirely filled with rice and contained only a tiny, minuscule amount of fish. The portion sizes are very small, especially when compared to the high prices and what you get at other similar places that sell these types of pockets. I also tried the spicy version, and it was waaaay too spicy, to the point where it completely overpowered everything, and I couldn't taste the fish at all. On top of that, the ordering process is a hassle. They don't take phone orders anymore, forcing you to do everything online, which is just cumbersome and inconvenient. When I went to pick up my food, the service was kind of cold. The staff basically just hand you the bag without a word, yet the payment system still expects you to leave a tip. Really?
