I have heard lots about this place from several different people. It did not disappoint! We were greeted my "smiling" masked faces. We asked to sit in the bar area, we picked our table and was greeted promptly by a server. I asked to taste a few ciders and the wife ordered a blue moon. I ended up going with the diskins cider, really flavorful. When it came to dinner, we ordered the filet medium with broccoli and I ordered the rattlesnake pasta. Both were out of the world, I mean, a steak was good to perfection and super moist and the rattlesnake pasta with the spicy cream sauce and mushrooms were perfect! The restaurant doesn't seem to have a theme or specialty, and the menu reflects this -- good solid chain casual dining, no surprises. our food came to the table quickly, along with our drinks. The quality and flavor of each of the selections at our table was, like the menus and the restaurant in general: no surprises, decent food, with average-to-good taste, but not outstanding. Was hoping for a flavorful steak, veggie, Caesar salad with a draft IPA. Ordered the 12-oz ribeye and Parmesan spinach with the salad. Salad was over-dressed with something sweet in it. Steak had nice grill marks, but no seasoning and was medium-well. Spinach was tasty and the beer was cold. Ordered a chocolate-espresso martini for dessert. This wasn't the right thing to order - not even a little sweet, not chocolaty. Left most it. The bartender was pleasant and prompt, but definitely not familiar with this drink. I don't recommend this restaurant, I gave them 2 starts b/c of presentation only. My husband and I had a late lunch so he wanted to stop by this place. My husband steak was cold, the waitress was shocked and apologized immediately and took the steak back for reheating. The manager Daniel brought the steak back and didn't even bother to say anything.... He just said "here's your steak" and walked off... I have come here a few times and every time the service has been epic. Even more so, the kitchen staff differently cares because everything I've order from here always comes out looking amazing. I appreciate the effort that the staff puts in as well as the presentation of your meal. I would say that the consistancy is something that you don't have to worry about. I just hope they keep it up. They have a full bar with local craft beer in tap. I think the wicked weed beer is awesome. They have a happy hour!!! Which I think is every day. This is a very confusing restaurant. You pull up and it looks like a normal, not too pricey restaurant. The. You step inside. The place looks really nice, but has beer brand emblems all over the wall. It's like they tried to make it look cheaper. We got the menu and I was surprised at a lot of the prices. They were very expensive to be next to an Arby's. We got the burger, as they were on a special. It was very delicious, although a little greasy. Over all it was a good experience, but they are a bit too pricey to be the restaurant they are. I may go back, but I would not spend the money on anything other than a sandwich. The prices go from $10 for a 1/2 sandwich and soup to $29 for other options. I will say staff was great and attentive. read more

My husband and I were out on a early dinner and decided to try the "New" restaurant that opened at Northgate. We purposely waiting several months from their opening to let them work the kinks out. We shared the sausage and pimento cheese. There wasn't much flavor with the pimento cheese and the sausage wasn't cut/sliced and the skin was really tough so the dish really made you work to enjoy it. We both decided to go with the Aubrey's Perfect Pair. I chose the Turkey and Havarti Sandwich with the Baked Potato Soup. Again, there was no seasoning or flavor. The soup was basically mashed potatoes in a bowl. Really thick and needed some salt. The sandwich had a lot of turkey but was basically dry bread and dry turkey with no condiments. My husband got the tomato bisque and the Caesar salad. He also mentioned that the soup needed some salt but he did enjoy his salad. The service staff was friendly and I enjoyed being childless and sitting at a table at the bar and watching the various sports games on the numerous TVs. While I don't have anything specific to complain about, the visit was just mediocre. I hope that maybe they put a little more thought into the food. read more

Had a really bad experience here but I see some great reviews so it just could have been an off night. It's obvious they pre-make their salads and store them in the cooler but I think mine was freezer burned. It was extremely bitter and I couldn't eat it. The blue cheese dressing was thin. I ordered the sirloin medium rare but it arrived well done. I asked for a do over but should have kept it. A few minutes after it was taken back another one was plopped down in front of me by the manager with a "sorry" only, no eye contact or anything beyond the one word. I had a feeling it was too soon and sure enough it was raw. I had to send it back too and ended up with a chicken dish which was decent. Later I realized it was the cut of the meat. The first one was thin so easy to over cook and the second one was a little thicker. They ended up giving me a gift card for next visit but I gave it to my sister in law because I won't go back. Second time here and this time ate in the dining area. Place is off 153 and they have off street parking, an outside seating area and places to wait for your table; and is always busy from what I can see. They have a nice size bar and bar area, separated by a glass wall for sound I assume. Dining are has tables and booths, a full bar and it is a pretty big place. They have call ahead seating which I did because had my daughter's family, which included 2 rug rats (kidlets- 8 months and 4 years old). When I called they said about a 15 minute wait and I got there around 20 minutes and checked in. After waiting about 40 minutes I went up to the checkin counter and asked her why it was taking so long since people were being seated ahead of us. She asked my name, looked it up and said "I paged you 4 times and you did not answer". I said we never got a page and are sitting right next to where she was. She then said well yes I did and you never answered, which irritated me since was rude implying I was lying. I gave here my pager and guess what, THEY wrote down the wrong pager number. The waiting area is not that big and I would have assumed they would have called out my name when I did not answer the page but did not. One of the staff apologized and said she would seat us next; their mistake (NOT the rude one).. so I calmed down and was OK.. mistakes happen. It all ended on a positive note, one of the manager's got involved and seated us immediately and gave us a complimentary chip and dip. Have full bar and waiter was awesome. I had the chicken strips with fries and a side of broccoli and was cooked perfectly. Others had great meals and again, the waiter was on top of everything. I give it a 4+. read more

This location just opened so I didn't expect it to be a flawless meal but it was. Food and service were both spot on and there were no errors. The menu was well done and had plenty of variety. My steak was cooked perfectly and was most enjoyable. Parking was plentiful and access from Hwy 153 was not difficult. Sharing the parking lot with Panda Express May prove to be an issue later but now it isn't one. As a group of 8 we expected a long wait for a table but it proved to be only 40 minutes in Sunday afternoon noonish prime time. read more

New restaurant in Hixson! Of course my big wish was to visit! Since it got opened I visited it 3 times. What I learned! Hard to get in and get the table after 4:30 pm. They do not have a cocktails menu yet. They serve bread before the meal but from the 3 times it got offered only once and I am confused if bread is offered all the time? Service is good. Food is tasty but not so cheap. I love the sides. Not sure if there is another place in town who serves baked yellow squash. Absolutely yummy! I tried fish and hamburger, and steak -all looks and tastes yummy! I am so thankful for this new place , and I think it is a great place for a get together if people can arrive before 5 pm. This a newer restaurant in Chattanooga so there are some new opening issues to be expected. We were told wait time would be 45 minutes when it was actually well over an hour. The service was good although we did have to ask someone to refill our drinks. Meals: I had the crab cakes which were delightful. Light and flavorful full of crabmeat. The sauce on the top was just right. However ---- my companion ordered the rib eye medium well. It was billed as deeply marbled. It came extremely under done - had no flavor and was full of gristle. The most unsatisfying steak my companion has ever had. In fact he is still disgruntled over the meal. My wife and I visited Aubrey's on Friday afternoon before they were busy. I ordered the prime rib. The waitress advised that I had my choice of one side. Not quite what I expected when ordering an entree for about $30. I added a salad for $5. When the waitress brought my salad, I advised the her I wanted grated horseradish served with my prime rib. She returned straightaway with my entree advising "We are out of grated horseradish." I told her I was not ready for my entree as I just received my salad and to bring me a menu so I could make an alternate selection. Magicly, she returned with the grated horseradish. My prime rib was served over cooked, not very warm and tough! My family won't be back! I suggest you not go there either. read more

This place is just ok for me. The food is good, but the prices are high. I honestly think cheddars is just as good and they have much cheaper prices so I guess it just depends what you are going to get. Obviously if you are going for steak or prime rib this place is probably better. I got catfish. It was good! The baked potato was very mediocre. The server was awesome though which was nice. The ambiance of the place is also great and it is in a convenient part of town. I would go back but just not my favorite. Nothing to write home to mom about, if you know what I mean! read more
