This was my wife and I first time at this location. Previously, we dined at the Knoxville location. This location is good, but not quite as cozy as the other location. It has lots of windows and is very bright. We sat at the bar to get quicker service, since there was a wait on a Saturday evening. All safety protocols were being enforced, except at the bar. You could sit shoulder to shoulder. Luckily, we had the end all to ourselves. Service is phenomenal. Very pleasant, very efficient, and continually monitoring our satisfaction. We both had a glass of wine. My wife had the cheese burger and I had the fish and chips. I like the panko crusting and the crispness. They gave me more fish and sliced potatoes than I could eat. I had steamed broccoli as my side. All was tasty and prepared well. The price was reasonable for what we had. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and could recommend it to others. read more

This is a new establishment in the Hixson area. I went for lunch. Any throughly enjoy the food and atmosphere. They use local farms for their produce. I had the strawberry salad and it was just delicious. I will definitely come again to try other menu items. read more

I have been eating at Aubrey's since there was only one in Farragut. It is probably my favorite go to restaurant around. Every location is good with the exception of the Cleveland one as the food never tastes right there. I am happy that the Hixson location has kept up the quality that I expect over the past twenty-seven years. I've eaten there twice this week! I love that you can take your dogs and sit on the patio and still see the sports on the tv. They have great daily specials too! Please keep up the good work! Nice find thanks to Yelp. We were in the area for a dog show and picked here to try. The wait for a table was 45-60 minutes so we went to the bar. Obviously a popular restaurant because the bar was crowded and noisy, but we snagged two chairs. The bartenders gave us great service. The food was delicious, fair prices so we'll be back. read more

Firstly DO NOT bother with call-ahead, it means nothing! We arrived at the time discussed , no other people waiting but were told we would have a 15 minute wait....25 minutes later we were seated at a table that was way too large for our group. We actually couldn't hear each other talk across the table! The service was lacking as well-we had to ask numerous times for condiments (some of which never came), when the food came to our table it was missing one persons food so everyone's else food got cold as we waited the 10 minutes for the missing entree. We ate at Aubrey's in Hixson last night and were rather disappointed. After eating several times over the years at their Lenoir City location, I had come to expect better food and service than we received in Hixson. My baked Scrod did not taste fresh, and my wife's Strawberry Salad was unremarkable. She also had potato soup which couldn't come close to Publix Deli's. We only eat out a couple of times a month, so I doubt we'll go back to Aubrey's. There are too many other options to choose from these days. read more

Saw this place on the way home from work and decided to stop. Very nice curb appeal and inviting. Once inside, we almost felt underdressed. The staff was polite and made you feel welcomed as soon as the doors opened. The food was amazing. I had the "Haystack" pasta and my husband had the "Tomato Basil" pasta. This is my 3rd visit so now I have a feel for what to expect overall. I was excited about having a new place I. Hixson & had heard good things, but my experience has been that it's a bit overpriced for the overall quality. Nevertheless, they have a nice beer list, an inviting looking bar (including tv's so you can catch a game) & patio (bay doors open to the outside patio seating, so lots of fresh air) and the dining room was spacious and comfortable. My service has been good each time I have visited. Our server on this visit was great. They bring a dense wheat bread with honey butter to the table, which was good. The wine & beer prices are very fair. And they seem to feature some good specials from time to time. This time you could get a beer & beverage for $10 and wings were .99 each which a few sauces to choose from. We tried the wings and preferred the fries to the grilled. The wing sauce tasted more like BBQ but the others were good. For entrees our table had ribeyes, salmon, black bean soup/salad, and the Filet Bites (as a meal-jt was actually the perfect size to be a meal). The ribeyes were cooked properly, salmon was a huge piece and cooked properly. My dining companions enjoyed the soup and Filet Bites. The filet was reported to be tender. On a prior visit I had the patty melt- and it was ok but a bit dry. The Mac & cheese wasn't particularly Two of the sides have been disappointing- the mashed potatoes tasted like instant (both times I have tried them) and the sautéed mushrooms were definitely canned. I expect fresh from a place with their price points. Overall, it won't be my first choice but if someone wants to go there I'll just avoid the things that I wasn't impressed with & maybe stick to the lower price point items like sandwiches and burgers or pasta. read more

Everyone knows or at least the culinary elite, that Club Sandwiches are served, if properly, quartered. That is a PROPER club. When I ordered my club this evening I requested it quartered. Our server Madeline brought my sandwich and said, "The manager would not quarter your sandwich because it would not stay together ". Please see my photos. I quartered my own sandwich which shows, a, Aubrey's has no class or decorum. B, Mark had no culinary experience or class. C. If you want your food properly prepared don't go to Aubrey's. Something as simple as preparing a sandwich per their customers' request, is so over their heads, and out of their league to do it properly, so you can enjoy it, let alone that it is prepared properly, you probably should choose another restaurant. I can name many, that know how to properly prepare a club sandwich and even more so, will be glad to do it the way the customer request, whether it is "proper" or not. Give me a break. TWO CUTS through the bread. Think any of your food is prepared correctly or to your specifications? Bet if Mark is on duty, you can hope and wish until the "cows" come home. Bad bad bad Aubrey's. Finally a great restaurant in Hixson! I tried scrod for the first time. Although the name sounds unappetizing, it was some of the most delicious fish I've ever had...very delicate, perfectly cooked, mild flavor, and lightly breaded. My husbands salmon was perfect too and we loved the salad. Atmosphere and service were also excellent. Our waiter, Chris was excellent, very attentive and helpful. We will be regulars for sure. read more

The Dining Divas went to lunch today March 20th at Aubrey's new location in Hixson. There were 15 of us and we were seated immediately. They do accept call ahead seating. The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. Our server, Michael was wonderful. He is a very pleasant man who cares about his customers. We did not have to ask for anything, he kept everything filled and made it look effortless. He is a great asset to the restaurant. It was stated by more than one Diva the it is not every man that can serve 15 women at one seating and leave them all satisfied and not wanting for anything else. He was a handsome man and we all appreciated his service. I truly hope Aubrey's realize how valuable he is. The Manager, Mike Woods come to our table to speak with one of the Divas because she had some issues with allergies. He made sure her order was fixed exactly the way she requested. This is one of the easiest reviews to write as there was nothing negative about our visit. All the entrees were excellently prepared and tasted delicious. If you have not been to Aubrey's, do yourself a big favor and go. I know we will be going back. We rated Aubrey's a 5 out of 5 but gave our server a 100! Like dreadfully terrible service . Servers don't know the menu, don't know customer service , and DEFINITELY don't know the drink menu. As a regular . Our 1st visit didn't impress except for friendly staff. I had North Carolina catfish and it was ordinary. My wife had chicken and the batter fell off and the chicken inside was very wet looking. With only one side served per order and with water to drink, our bill with tip was about $35, which for Hixson, TN seems a little overpriced. Doubt will try again. read more

Aubrey's is new to the Chattanooga area but my family is familiar with the chain due to formerly living in Knoxville. We were excited to have an old favorite back. We decided to give it a week or two to work the kinks out and I guess we should have waited longer. While our food had a good taste 4 out of 5 of our meals were served cold. We had to request bread and our server was less than attentive. She spent the entirety of our meal standing at the end of the bar. I watched the managers stand and have a 20 minute conversation in front of the kitchen area and then walk through without checking on a single table. We dined there last night, as we were spending the night at a hotel in the area. It looked like it might be a good place when we saw how full the parking lot seemed. We were seated promptly and after a short wait, our server came over to take our order. We just wanted sugar free beverages. The only choice was diet coke. For most people that is fine, unless you can't have caffeine. Oh well. Water it is. I ordered a caesar salad with salmon. Unfortunately, I think the salmon could have swam in all the dressing on my salad. I would definitely ask for the dressing on the side, if we ever came back.The croutons onthe salad we not very fresh. They vould improve their salads by making their own croutons . We have been to two places this week that did, and it really kicks up the taste ofthe salasa. I realize that I only had water to drink, but although our server brought my husband a soda refill, my water glass was never refilled and sat empty. Our server asked if we wanted dessert. We declined and he removed some of our dishes, and went to prepare our check. We still had one large plate and some silverware on the table. While we waited, our table was passed at least 4 times by orher waitstaff, who we on their way back to the kitchen with empty hands. Not one of them stopped to grab that empty plate, even though it was clearly placed on the outer edge of the table for removal. I think this place fassome good points, but clearly needs someone with a stronger attention to detail training and overseeing their waitstaff read more

We went to eat at about 3:30 on a Friday. The place wasn't very crowded yet they tried to sit us at a high top table in the bar. We declined and asked for a booth. They sat us in a booth near the bar where all of the wait staff gathered to talk our whole meal 3 feet away from our table. Pricey compared to other places in town with a similar menu. Service was terrible, my food arrived cold and we couldn't have a conversation due to the loudness of the wait staff directly beside us. I don't think we will go back. read more

I reluctantly decided to give this place a chance since I work nearby and I had a BOGO 1/2 price coupon. I had eaten at Aubreys in Cleveland,TN years ago and remembered it as pricey and so/so. It's over priced. You can get the same type good at any of 4 restaurants within walking distance. Next time, I think I'll opt for O Charleys on Hixson Pike. They offer drink and dinner specials and rarely ever have a wait at 1/2 the price! read more

My wife and I went there tonight to celebrate our anniversary. What a mistake. I asked for a gin and tonic, specifically asking for Tanquerey. And I know my gins. We ordered our dinner, requesting our salads to be brought out first. The waitress brought my drink and as I brought it up, I could smell it was wrong. One sip. It was vodka and water. I sent it back and the waitress returned shortly to tell me the bartender told her it was what I ordered. I told her to take it back and please take it off our tab. About 10 minutes later, our dinner came out. No salads. I waved the waitress over and told her we had not received our salads, and to please take them off our tab. The food was what we expected; we didn't expect anything beyond ordinary from this establishment, we just needed to use up the gift cards we had received. Needless to say, this will be the last time we go there. Unfortunately, this was not the first disappointing visit to this restaurant. My wife, God love her, kept making excuses for the staff but the bottom line is that when you depend on repeat business, you need to know how to take care of your customers in a manner that is appropriate for the money you hope to have them spend. read more

My husband and I went here it was the worst food I ever tasted. The crab cakes were bland and overcooked. The soup tasted like mint and was lumpy. The fried chicken had been beaten to a pulp and cooked so long that the crust had separated from the chicken and an air pocket was between the crust and the chicken. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were cold. For the price, they charge they should be ashamed. We ended up going home and cooking. read more

This was our first visit and will probably be the last. From the beginning the woman who took us to our table looked like she would rather be anywhere else. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine and they brought him the wrong beer. We ordered the prime rib and paid extra for a salad. My husband ordered a baked potato with just butter and I ordered the parmesan spinach as our sides. They brought the salads and we didn't even get to put the salad dressing on them when they brought our dinners. My prime rib was lukewarm. My husband's potato was covered in sour cream. I opted to eat my dinner and forgo the salad that I paid extra for, rather than let my prime rib get stone cold. The parmesan spinach was horrible. I highly recommend you never ever order that. A bowl of greasy parmesan with a small amount of spinach. We had to ask a passing waitress for horseradish. Our waitress brought our check and asked us if we wanted dessert before we were even 1/3 of the way through dinner. When she saw that I didn't eat the spinach, she said "you didn't like it?
