Had a fabulous lunch here! Our flight was cancelled so we had a day in NY. It was our son's birthday so we were able to see him and take him for lunch. Located on 26th and Park it was close enough to my son's apt that he could sneak away from work and have a nice lunch. Audace is an upscale Italian restaurant. Elegant and refined, it's a special place with excellent service. All the pasta is homemade and the kitchen only uses the freshest ingredients. RUCOLA Salad- fresh crisp Arugula with cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmigiano Reggiano and a light delicious lemon dressing. We added grilled shrimp and it was excellent. Linguini Vongole- fresh homemade linguini in a white wine sauce topped with fresh clams. This dish was special and the crisp Italian bread was perfect for dipping. Margherita Pizza - wood burning ovens gave this a crisp crust. The sauce is made with San Marzano tomatoes and topped with fresh basil and imported fior di latte fresh mozzarella. Truly an elevated take on the classic Margherita pizza. We couldn't have asked for a better more enjoyable lunch to have with our son. When I'm on the east side this is top on my list.

Had my wife's surprise birthday party and I have to say... despite expectations being high they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food was next level... cacio e pepe was creative and an interesting take on a classic. Marinara pizza... again next level stuff. The mixed drinks were also phenomenal ranging from classics such as the paper plane and limoncello to more imaginative drinks such as the pornstar martini. Our waiter... I feel guilty for not remembering his name.... he was amazing. Charming, welcoming... he made the experience truly an experience.

We absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere is very chill, non intrusive, everything runs very smoothly and professionally. Giuseppe is a delight! Charming, as all real Italians are, knowledgeable with his recommendations and a true professional, his team is also very good. The food was beautifully prepared. Their pizza was light as a feather with tons of flavor, the fried calamari/shrimp dish was on point, as was the Cesar salad. As for the pasta and dessert, all I can say is Mama Mia!

Spaghetti al pomodoro - my husband loved it but I thought it was just ok

Cute little Italian spot in the basement of a hotel. We went on a Saturday night around 4:30/5pm and it was empty (when we left there was only one other party). For highlights, we enjoyed the Caesar salad (good but not the best I have had) and the margherita pizza (def order a pizza). I was less impressed with the pastas - we got one of the homemade pyramid shaped ones (forget the name) and the spaghetti ala pomodoro. I didn't love either but my husband loved the latter. I may have just ordered the wrong dishes and would def be happy to come back to try some of the other pastas.

delivered a truly exceptional dining experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish -- attentive without rushing us, and genuinely warm. The whole evening felt like an authentic, high-end Italian meal, from the full-bodied wine to dishes that perfectly complemented both the ambiance and the conversation. We were able to take our time, enjoy each course, and settle into an experience that felt thoughtful and beautifully paced. Highly recommend.

Audace delivers a perfectly balanced experience between formal and homey. The food stands out with bold, clean flavors and beautifully executed dishes that show real attention to detail. Every course tastes fresh and intentional. The service is warm, quick, attentive, and never rushed, adding to the comfortable, elevated atmosphere. Their wine selection is impressive, with pairings that genuinely enhance the meal rather than overpower it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a starting point to a night out in NYC.

I was iffy about making a reservation here given they only had 7 reviews. But we took a chance and were very happy we did. This is a new-ish Italian spot that is run by true Italians. In a city filled with Americanized Italian, this was a culinary experience that actually tastes like Italy. From start to finish, all the food was excellent. We started with a frito misto and the calamari + shrimp were very fresh and perfectly cooked. We had their margherita pizza for our second course which was honestly amazing. From the sauce to the cheese to the EVOO + basil, it tasted like pizza from a local shop in Italy. We finished with 2 pastas -- their cacio peppe dumplings and spaghetti pomodoro -- both were excellent. Especially the cacio peppe which was in a homemade dumpling. Ambiance was nice and service was good enough. If you want an authentic taste of Italy, come here. You won't be disappointed

I had the Rucola salad which was delicious, light and flavorful. My waiter Enzo recommended the Tortello Cacio e Pepe which was absolutely amazing. A smaller size portion was perfect with the salad. I was surprised by the rich flavor of the sauce. Truly a great find.

The quality of service here is incredible! We were helped by Ciro throughout our meal, and he made it a very sweet and memorable dinner. I came here for dinner as a party of two on a Friday night (we made reservations but the restaurant was half empty since it's still pretty new). We were seated downstairs and took the stairs down, although there is also an elevator available (which we took back up after our meal). The restaurant is pretty spacious and has nice mood lighting. The restrooms are also well stocked with soap and lotion. I liked how I could see one of the chefs making pizza from where I was seated. The music was also nice; some of the songs were jazz covers of contemporary songs. We ordered: - Negroni (5/5) it's not on the menu, but it should be! - Hazelnut Old Fashioned (5/5) this was my first time trying hazelnut infused whiskey and it was incredible - Radicchio salad (1/5) honestly this was totally my fault for ordering the wrong thing because I saw "pear" and got excited, and it didn't register with me that radicchio is pretty bitter / Gorgonzola is a blue cheese - Bufala pizza (4/5) the tomato sauce was so fresh and it was really cool that the crust was stuffed with ricotta. Honestly this dish was so filling I had to not finish all the crust because I would have been too full for the risotto - Risotto porcini e tartufo (4/5) Ciro divided this dish with such care. He scooped each of us a portion of the risotto then slapped the plate to flatten it out before using forceps to place the truffle on top - Nebbiolo wine (4/5) Ciro recommended this which paired very well with the risotto since this was dry, and he mentioned the grapes are from the same region as risotto I think. The wine was served in fancy Zalto glasses We also received complimentary bread and butter at the beginning of our meal as well as little glasses of Meletti Amaro at the end of our meal. We paid with In Kind which took $30 off our meal and gave me about $25 back in InKind credits. All in all, I had a great time and would love to come back to try a tomato-based pasta next time!

My experience at Audace was nothing short of fabulous. If you've been to Italy and are looking for authentic, delicious food you need to come have dinner! There are far too many mediocre Italian places. I'm still dreaming of the vongole and the tortelo-absolute perfection. Just like being in Italy. One of the owners was there and he was genuinely polite and kind and a true example of excellent hospitality. This meal was truly perfect in every way start to finish which is not very common anymore. Service-excellent. Food was mouthwatering fabulous. Wine was excellent. I will make a point to come here every time I can. I hope they stay around forever. More restaurants should be this great. Grazie mille, buonissimo!!!

FABULOUS! Our reservation was honored perfectly on time. Our server, Mauro, was exceptionally attentive as were all the other servers. Do not miss the nocciola cake. You can thank me later! Can't wait to return.

I came here to throw down on some seafood and that's exactly what we did. I found out about this place because one of my favorite TikTok foodies posted that she came here when she was visiting from Chicago. It was also my friend's birthday so we figured we'd check it out. If you come with a group of 4 or more, including the birthday person, they eat for free, which is a pretty nice perk. This place lived up to every bit of the hype. We did the $125 option which includes lobster. If you have people in your group who are on the fence about spending the extra money, just remind them it's only about $35 more and that's basically the cost of one lobster anywhere else. Here you're getting unlimited lobster. The food literally just kept coming. At one point we were running out of room on the table. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed and started putting multiple items on the same plates instead of bringing everything out separately. It sounds small but it actually helped a lot and showed they were paying attention. The drinks weren't super strong but they definitely weren't weak either. If you love seafood, come hungry and bring a group. The vibes were great, the service was on point, and we left absolutely stuffed.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

I felt unwelcome, which was tough since I came here for dinner before a Broadway show, & was left without many other available options. I arrived 25 minutes late for my reservation, but was told that my only option was to sit at the bar due to their 30 minute grace period being up (which wasn't true). I looked around the restaurant & saw it was only 20% full, but the hostess then said all the open tables are reserved for guests who are arriving soon. Based on what I saw, it was hard to believe her. I checked open table to see if any reservations were available, and sure enough there was one at 6:15pm -- mind you, I arrived at the restaurant at 5:55pm. So I book the 6:15pm table & inform the hostess. I then sat down to wait for 6:15 to come. As I waited, I noticed the hostess asked each incoming guest whether they were attending a Broadway show & what time each show was at so that they could ensure the guests made it out on time. At 6:06, she comes & says she can seat me because another guest cancelled, which again, I found hard to believe. As she leads me to my table, I noticed she didn't ask if there was a show I was attending, nor the show's start time. I stopped & asked if she wanted to know my show time before seating me, & she looked so surprised. The honest truth is that the hostess did not treat me like a customer. Instead, I felt unwelcome & couldn't help but wonder if it was related to me being Black the only Black person in the restaurant. The food was ultimately alright, but the service here really ruins the experience.
