This is a difficult review to write because the drinks here are fabulous. The issue is the super long wait times. We came on a Sunday at 3:30 and it took an hour and a half to get our orders. We walked around Tokyo Central but never got the text that two of our parties drinks were ready. But we decided to head over anyways to check. They need to fix their notification system. Overall, if I ever get drinks there again it will have to be when they are empty. Otherwise expect a long wait and inaccurate notification.

The shop is such a cute spot and I love the wallpaper aesthetics. It is such a picturesque boba spot! The logo is really whimsical and the colors are very vibrant. My friend and I visited yesterday for their BOGO deal on their new Premium Coffee Drinks. My friend and I each ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Coffee Latte and the Premium Matcha Coffee Latte for our significant others. We placed our order through the machine and received a text with our order numbers. It took around 10 minutes to get our drinks and we received texts when our drinks were ready. There were a few people that did online ordering, so if you don't want to wait, that is an option. I love the look of the cups. You can see the gradient of the matcha and coffee. The Premium Matcha Coffee Latte has a blend of earthy matcha with the coffee latte. It is a lot more coffee-forward that I thought it would be, so if you're expecting it to taste more like matcha, this might not be your jam. They offer sugar options - no sugar of 120%. I chose no sugar because I added brown sugar boba. The pearls were very chewy and squishy. Served warm and I liked the texture of it. The Brown Sugar Coffee Latte combines classic boba with a rich coffee latte base. This was a perfect blend of brown sugar and coffee. I got this one with 50% sweetness and it was the perfect sweetness. Another strong coffee flavored drink. The employees were pleasant and friendly; they worked quickly as well. It was nice to receive our drinks in a timely manner despite it being mildly busy. I love the taste of the drinks and I definitely plan on going back in the near future!

Been loving the two seasonal peach specials, especially the peach and grapefruit version! So refreshing and perfect for summer. Service and online ordering have also gotten a lot more improved and organized. Lately the wait hasn't been long on weeknights when we've ordered online for pickup (usually less than 15 minutes). Glad to see the wait lines get under control. Ambiance is casual but nice. Thank you!

A New Classic in the Making I visited Auntea Jenny this past weekend after my friend told me that she basically has been getting in multiple times a week for the past month now. And, it's been for good reason. You take your order at a kiosk and there's a wall of seats and tables where you can wait for your drink. It's quite narrow, but it does the job. I ordered the strawberry daifuku drink and the white champaca milk tea. I was very impressed with the tea flavor at this location. It was on par with my other tea favorites like Molly Tea. I like how they have a wide range of fruit drinks too! The flavors in the strawberry daifuku drink were lovely. It wasn't too sweet and the texture of the toppings was satisfying.

Went here twice. Did pickup orders through the app each time. Easy and convenient. They do have the default for tip as 18%, so if you don't change it, that's what you pay. Got the classic mango pomelo sago and the brown sugar boba fresh milk. The sago was good 4/5. The brown sugar boba fresh milk was whateves 3/5.

The drinks are great and worth recommending, but the egg tarts are just average. Mango Pomelo Sago Latte: Excellent--easily my favorite item so far at this shop. Who knew the sweet and tangy mix of mango and pomelo combined with slightly bitter coffee would be such a delicious hit? The boba texture rivals One Zo's handmade boba, with that soft, chewy bite similar to tangyuan (glutinous rice balls). Since the store just opened, it gets super busy with delivery orders. I wait ten minutes for my drink, only to realize they forgot to add the boba (though they fix it right away after I mention it at the counter). Black Sesame Taro Milk Tea with Grains: Also good, coming in as a close second to the Mango Pomelo Sago Latte. Red Robe Oolong paired with taro paste, purple rice, and boba at the bottom has a very pleasant texture, and the shop's standard sweetness level feels just right. There is a Buy One Get One Free deal for new drinks, but take note: if you order on the kiosk, you have to manually add two drinks to your cart (it won't apply if you only add one). Classic Original Egg Tart & Taro & Red Glutinous Rice Egg Tart: Both are pretty mediocre. Baked goods don't seem to be this shop's strong suit. If you want really good egg tarts, I recommend trying Nai Snow in San Gabriel instead. On a side note, the turnover rate for boba shops in Irvine over the past two years is remarkably fast: Gong Cha on Culver becomes Auntie Jenny. YiFang on Walnut turns into Heytea. HNTea on Main changes to Heytea.

Stopped by Auntea Jenny in Irvine to try a couple of their teas and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Jasmine Green Tea and the White Peach Oolong tea latte, and both tasted fresh and well balanced without being overly sweet. The Jasmine Green Tea had a fragrant floral aroma with a clean, refreshing finish that made it really easy to drink. The White Peach Oolong tea latte was my favorite of the two. There was a na natural peach flavor that complemented the oolong instead of overpowering it. It was light, smooth, and perfect if you're looking for something fruity but not artificial tasting. The shop was clean, service was friendly, and my drinks came out quickly. There was a good wait here. Lots of people ordered online too. If you're in the area and want a refreshing tea without all the heavy syrups, Auntea Jenny is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back to try more of their menu.

Mango Pomelo Sago & Taro Boba Fresh Milk Tea (oat milk substitute)

This was our first time trying Auntea Jenny and my husband and I both enjoyed our drinks. Ordering is done on the kiosks up front. We were comparing these two drinks to the ones we tried at TeaByDo because they are very similar. However, we both thought that the Auntea Jenny mango drink was better since it had higher mango content. It tastes like an actual fruit smoothie. I was actually getting grapefruit pieces. The taro boba drink also tasted much better than the TeaByDo taro ball drink which we didn't like because it didn't taste balanced at their recommended 70% sweetness level. The taro in Auntea Jenny drink is a thick paste and the sweetness was balanced. The boba was really nice and chewy. The only negative thing I can say is that if you are lactose intolerant, most of their fresh milk teas do not have a substitution option. The taro milk tea was the only one we could see that had an oat milk substition. Will definitely be back to try the other drinks!

Came here to try the new Peach drinks . The peach oolong fresh milk tea daifuku was SO good. Refreshing, not too sweet (I ordered the recommended sweetness level), and the mochi was a perfect texture of chewiness. Would definitely get it again. Long wait times if you order in store, so I recommend ordering online.

Finally got a chance to try Auntea Jenny. This location had been crazy when they first opened, so we placed an online order when we were in the area. Although the estimated time was about 40 minutes, the order was ready under 10 minutes. The store itself was a bit busy, but nothing to crazy. We got the premium Jasmine Tea Latte and their new Peach Oolong Fresh Milk Tea Daifuku. The peach polong was flavorful and had good toppings. We were a bit disappointed with the jasmine. People raved about the quality of the teas here, but to is it was just ok. Not bad, but nothing special either. The tea was a bit over steeped, so maybe it was just a bad day. Will definitely be back to try other items on their menu

Sweet Corn Latte and Mango Pomelo Sago

We were there around 3 during a week day and the order took about 25 minutes. The Sweet Corn Latte tasted mostly like milk, but the Mango Pamelo was delicious. We'll go back for that, and will try other flavors.

Great drinks but there is a 20 minute wait after ordering (at the kiosk). There is an app to order and not wait as much too. There are also some seating inside but you have to jump when someone stands because there's so many people are also waiting. I do appreciate that there's a TV screen that shows the progress of your order. The restroom was mostly clean as well, but I could tell it was going to need to be cleaned/trash emptied soon.

I think I came at a really good time, since I didn't really have a wait :o the service was quite fast, and I feel like I got my drinks within 5 minutes of placing. Parking was easy, as it's a large plaza. There isn't much seating though, but the inside was clean and organized. For the drinks, we got the classic mango pomelo sago, strawberry jasmine fresh milk tea, premium jasmine tea latte. I think the mango pomelo sago was solid! The strawberry jasmine... was a bit odd.. unfortunately, I think it tasted a bit too artificial for me. The premium jasmine tea latte was also quite good! The size was better than some other chains as well :) The service was wonderful, despite it being busy. I'd come back to try other drinks.

Think fashionable design meets European charm for the interior atmosphere, right down to the plates. Morning Lavender offers table seating as well as booths and can accommodate large parties for events. Now for the good stuff- let's talk an Iced Mocha with extra chocolate and an Iced Chai Tea Latte with Banana Cream Foam. The Mocha with extra chocolate was indulgent and velvety with the espresso seamlessly intertwined. A decadent treat to enjoy as the morning started to warm up into the afternoon. Just a suggestion for those who enjoy the richer side of coffee and espresso. A dash of a bit more cream would've added that refined richness. The star of the morning was definitely the Iced Chia Tea Latte with Banana Cream Foam. The description of cold cream hardly captures and embodies what this Banana Cold Foam really is. Think lusciously thick banana smoothie topping off your drink. Impossibly creamy and bursting with ripe banana. Crowning the drink sat a slice of banana bathed on one side in a caramelized sauce similar to crème brûlée. Crunchy peanuts generously scattered on top, making an irresistible contrast in texture. This drink was truly an exceptional culinary experience. I will be back again and again for the Banana Cold Foam.

Rumi was wonderful with the kids, the snacks were cute (albeit pretty limited for the price--a small tea sandwich, a small cupcake, some cinnamon goldfish), they had a little dance session, and then did photos. Overall a cute experience for the kids. That said, I got a lavender latte and it was difficult to finish. The foam was like a salted caramel, which clashed with the lavender's liquid portion of the drink. There were a lot of lavender petals on top, which looked nice, but were bitter to taste. The latte portion actually tasted ok after I grabbed a straw so that I could drink it without the foam, but the foam and toppings just really threw the drink off. For $7, I expect harmonious flavors as well as an aesthetic look. I'd definitely bring my kid back for another Tots event, but I'd not get the lavender latte again.

Appreciating the history, great coffee, and community feel is one thing, but you should know in advance that they do not offer wifi here.
