This cafe is located at Kualoa Ranch. If you are there doing a tour this place is so convenient to grab a bite after you're done. It is counter service and you find a seat indoors our out on the scenic patio overlooking the ocean. We ordered a couple of plate lunches and açaí bowls to share between three of us adults. The food was so ono and so generous. The chicken plate came with three huge thighs and cooked so tender that the meat just falls off the bone. The sweet glaze was perfect for this savory dish. The spicy bulgogi and kimchi fried rice plate was another winner too. The bits of kimchi in the rice were perfect and the mildly spicy and slightly sweet pork bulgogi was so satisfying. We had so much left over food that we still have enough to have another meal today! Of course we saved room to enjoy the açaí bowls. OMG the tropical acai bowl was my favorite ever! The fresh papaya, lychee, banana, granola, coconut flakes and a poi drizzle made this good enough to make me want to make the long trek out there again one day! read more

The food was actually really good too. We did smash burgers Kualoa pork quesadilla and a salad. After zip lining, my family were pretty hungry and decided to eat at Kualoa Ranch. Aunty Pat's Cafe is quite busy with long lines. It does go by quick though and our orders were ready in about 15-20 minutes after ordering. Loco Moco: The hamburger patty was pretty dry. The gravy sauce was tasted like a generic instant gravy packet. Not much flavor. They also forgot the mushrooms so it's just onions. The mac salad was flavorless as well. Guava Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Thigh: The chicken was alright. The teriyaki sauce was decent. The salsa doesn't have any guava just pineapple. It adds sweetness to the chicken. Fresh Island Fish Katsu: The fish was alright, the breading has a nice crispiness. The sriracha aioli and teriyaki sauce helps with the flavor of the fish. Garlic Butter Shrimp: This was a decent garlic shrimp plate. The shrimp has the skin so it can get messy to peel the skin off. Good amount of garlic and butter. The lemon wedge adds some tangy flavor to the shrimps. Pretty much the best plate out the ones we ordered. Overall, the plate lunches weren't satisfying in terms of taste. The Paui burger was freaking awesome. Their process for food ordering is terrible. They have an "order here line" and then a "Pay here" line which seems like a great idea right? Except that they require employees to order their food in the pay here line. I stopped by Aunty Pat's Paniolo Café at Kualoa Ranch to check out the food and it is basically a quick grab n go spot with fresh homemade Hawaiian style dishes made to order. I got the beef hotdog which was ok, about 2.5/5, decent price and a huge portion but nothing too special even with condiments. I also tried the chili cheese fries and I am a sucker for crinkle cut fries, I did not expect actual beans in the chili which was different but it worked and tasted good, solid 4/5, and the portions are worth the price for being at an attraction. The lines can be a bit long so expect a short wait and be ready to order when you get to the front because they move fast. There are a couple of tables inside but it is honestly best to take your food outside and enjoy the view and scenery. read more

Ordered a burger and added grilled onions + pickles which they charge $1.50 each for adding, and asked for pepper jack cheese. Got my burger with no pickles, no grilled onions, and cheddar cheese. When I tried telling them they argued with me and said it was under the beef, which it was not. How hard is it to follow instructions to make a burger especially when your charging $15 for a basic burger. The kitchen staff here sucks and is not friendly. Inside the visitor center of Kuoloa ranch! It's definitely the only place to eat here if you plan to do an activity. 16$ for spring shrimp and garlic butter shrimp. Small kick for the spicy and really good. It's messy so be aware to get your hands dirty! We chose to sit outside instead of inside for beach views and just to be outside. This is a little eatery inside the gift shop of kualoa ranch. For a place like this at a touristy spot, I honestly didn't expect much. I was so hungry so I just had to order something. I tried their fish and chips. They were pretty decent! The fish was Crispy and hot, and the fries were the same and well seasoned! If you're hungry, give it a shot. The staff were pretty efficient and they got the food out to everyone fairly quickly. Indoors was pretty stuffy so I would eat outside at the picnic tables instead. This review is exclusively for the banana and taro bread pudding. It was warm, gooey and had the perfect balance of banana and taro flavors. Highly recommended item on the menu if you find yourself dining at this restaurant. We were not really looking for a meal as we were headed to a luau afterwards. Aunty Pat's is a Cafe located inside Kualoa Ranch and is a popular attraction especially to tour bus's during lunch hour. My group arrived at 1130 for a lunch hour prior to our next adventure. The staff are all pleasant and friendly. They check your COVID status prior to entry in a way that is both warm and efficient. When entering inside, you'll notice that they have a pretty large dining room. Its currently closed to outside only due to COVID restrictions. The wait just to order food was fairly long at fifteen minutes. The menu is actually quite broad with food options for all types of eaters. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp as that was a recommendation by my tour guide. You'll be handed a puck to be called back when your order is ready after paying. My biggest concern with Aunty Pat's was the wait time. From door to table was a full thirty minutes. I understand that there is an influx of individuals, but fifteen minutes for shrimp and rice is rather long in my opinion. Food presentation was fantastic. The shrimp were well cooked and flavorful. Rice was well cooked. The macaroni salad was fairly bland and of poor quality in my opinion. I actually chose not to finish the macaroni. Another issue I ran into was the seating has a plethora of flies around. A few is tolerable, but I found myself swatting at flies during my entire meal. Went to Aunty Pat's for breakfast with a friend and got 2 omelettes with fried rice. Both dishes were the exact same. The eggs themselves were slightly under cooked as there was still clear egg white inside. Also, both clamshell containers were dressed and finished differently. Mine was absent green onion garnish where as the one I gave to my friend had the green onions. This is really an "attention to detail" issue. read more

Excellent food, excellent service. I'd seen some bad reviews yesterday and after eating here I heartily disagree. I had the teriyaki beef plate and a friend had the garlic shrimp plate. The beef was tender and flavorful and the shrimp was fantastic, even the Mac salad was flavorful- better than any mainland Hawaiian Mac I've tried. As an added bonus- we left a soda bottle at the check stand and then later not one but two different employees had put aside a soda before we said anything to make sure we'd gotten what we paid for. Our tour bus dropped us off at the ranch for lunch. Good results. Cookies - Get a few. These were the best cookies in a long time. Choc. Chip or Macadamia Nut. Burgers - 1/2 pound, cooked well done to our liking, good bacon. A really solid burger. Fries - Worthy...thicker, hot and crisp. Buffet : Did not eat. Kind of a hit and miss. Ribs looked ok, but chicken was dark meat. Flies - Yes, it's a ranch, but the flies are even dining with you on the inside. Streamed Rice - side dish..taste of the Islands. Perfect bowl of rice. Not too shabby! I'd heard it was really good from a co-worker, but also figured tourist restaurant couldn't be all that great either. My aunt and I stopped by after volunteering at the Kualoa Educational Center so that we could try some of the Kualoa farm-raised shrimp. We got it spicy style, which was kind of like a Gochujang and lemongrass. Very tasty. The shrimp was served with rice and coleslaw. At $15 a plate, much closer than North Shore and no wait, this will be my go to spot for local shrimp. They also sell it raw and you must order it 24 hours to buy.
