Hopefully this will help someone in the future that is experiencing the same issue I had.

Personally, it's hard for me to leave a bad review but the service I experienced here was very unprofessional. My car battery died in the parking lot right next door and lo and behold I see a "Autozone". As I walk in all I here is laughs and loud talking from the back and it took me some time to find someone to speak with. I asked the young lady if they could help me Jumpstart my car or charge my battery and after she relayed my question to the other workers in the back all I hear was "oh haha no we're not aloud to do that. We can't help him". This all took place an hour or so before closing time, maybe that had a lot to do with it? Unfortunately, I had to purchase jumper cables from this store and I asked the workers from dominos next door for help jump starting my car and every single worker there was more than willing to help me. So, if you're having car trouble just go to dominos.

These are not for fog lights only. I looked them up first

So I hate AutoZone but needed a parts store and AutoZone was close. I did not want to go and they did not disappoint again and how bad they are. I need a WD-40 and was going to pick up some LED lights for my car. The headlights are 100 bucks while I was here, they told me they only sell LED fog lights, but in the aisle they had LED lights for fog light use only in the same brand they had LED lights in my light bulb size and then when I came up there like these aren't refundable and I was like why won't you guys just let me fucking buy something so I just left they don't know if they have they don't even know if they're doing they're not helpful and their warranties don't work because their system Has malfunctions and resets everybody's warranties. It's just a really bad company. I only use O'Reillys but like I said this was the only one out here so I had to go to AutoZone. I'll just live with the issue my bike's making till I get home.

The worker there, Anthony, helped me figure out the problem with my headlight and made sure I got the one I needed.

To my surprise, my Suzuki recently failed California's smog test. It's getting harder to find a garage that is willing to service that Hitachi ECM carburetor. I previously had bought some products from Petrol Works and was happy with what they recommended and provided. In late 2025 while towing the Samurai through West Texas its transmission failed and locked up despite my following the owners manual instructions carefully. I took it to Petro Works and had them replace the transmission, install a driveshaft disconnect system, and an old man emu set of springs. I was delighted with how the Samurai handled after that. So after the smog test failure I decided to return to Petro Works even though it meant 1000 mile round-trip from my house in Northern California. They rebuilt the carburetor, including new, micro switches and rebuilt the mixture control solenoid. The Samurai now runs, performs and handles better than it ever has in the 10 years that I have owned it. I feel that it was certainly worth my time and money to have my RV Toad in the hands of honest, experienced technicians.

I special ordered a torque converter and waited until the following day for it to come in. When I went to install it, I noticed that one of the studs for the flywheel was not attached and would not allow for it to be mounted. When I returned it to the O'Reilly in Temecula, I was told that the soonest they could get me a replacement was 5 PM. While this might seem as though it is a reasonable response one must have taken to account that my vehicle is in pieces in the garage and undrivable. I asked for the manager to call and make arrangements for somebody to meet the a delivery driver and get my replacement part sooner. After speaking to the store manager, Lorraine, and requesting a callback from the district manager, Bryan, I was left more frustrated than that when I started. Neither of them took accountability for the fact that my truck is not drivable and in parts in the garage. I ordered a part that I expected to be usable and had arrangements to have it reinstalled. Lorraine told me that she called the district manager Bryan at my request and asked him to give him me a call to discuss a quicker replacement. After more than an hour and a half and no call I called back and Lorraine called Bryan again. When Bryan called me, he told me that he was only just now being brought to his attention. The problem is the district manager pointed fingers at the store manager, saying that she did not call when she told me she Did, but I don't truly believe that that is the case. I believed he did not want to call me back and therefore wished that I would just go away. I'm telling you all. You have choices when it comes to buy an auto parts. This was an unexpected repair and I needed the part urgently otherwise I would've taken advantage of buying it online. But if you are in an emergency situation like I was do not go to O'Reilly as they do not care about their customers and do not think outside the box for ways to make situations better when they've sold a faulty part and caused unnecessary delay. To make matters worse, Bryan spoke to me like I was some kind of an idiot. He tried to justify the fact that it was not "safe "for an employee to go to the distribution center because it was a "hardhat facility ". When I pointed out that that was an excuse and not a reason, he had no response. I shared with him that clearly the delivery drivers figured out a way to make a safe exchange of the parts they were going to deliver and that his excuse made no sense. I am currently waiting for a callback from the regional manager, whose name I'm told is Pedro. My hope is that maybe he could do better as far as thinking outside the box.

I wish they had more Hotwheels and M2s. I came inside specifically for those, but thats okay.read more
