Customer service. I went in to get a coolant hose. Showed the guy a picture and asked if he maybe knew what the piece was . But he then proceeded to tell me to take the hose off my car so I can bring it in. Note , I had just stopped driving so my coolant would be hot to touch. I'm not a mechanic , so I have questions and would appreciate help. Not because I'm lazy. The guy then started having a conversation with another customer and rambled on about how people are so lazy these days and expect them to do everything for them. Very disappointing experience. I come in to get an alternator replaced under warranty for my old muscle car. After looking in his parts shelves, the "assistant manager" comes back and tells me they don't have it but a store 25 miles away has it. I asked if that store could hold it for me until I get there to which he replied, I don't know. You'd have to call them. Really??? That's your response? I head straight for that other store and lo and behold, they don't have the alternator in stock either. I asked them if they had sold it in the last 30 minutes and they said no, we haven't had that alternator in stock for a while. At least this store offered to order it for me, a concept that must have been foreign to this guy. Here's a little advice from someone who is a manager: you're supposed to be a problem solver and you failed. You'll never make full manager with that kind of attitude. You didn't want to deal with my problem so you passed me along to another store. They handled it perfectly. The young kid who helped me wasn't a manager or assistant manager either. You could learn something him. read more

Went in this morning (7/26, 9:30am) to get a new battery. I think the associate that helped me was named Ryan? I can't remember I hope I got it right tho cause he was super on it. I was in and out in 20 mins in a store full of people. I was able to get my old battery checked, buy a new one and get it put on. Great experience. read more

Don't buy your car battery here. I bought my car battery two years ago and it's under three-year warranty and the battery died. Although they installed it two years ago they said they won't install a new one because my car takes 60 minutes for them to install a battery based off what their system says, and they only install batteries where it takes less than 30 minutes according to their system. 2 years ago they did install it in just a few minutes. They should honor the fact that they installed it last time. They did say they can swap the battery if I bring it there but I've never uninstalled a car battery myself getting over there and back without a working car would be a big inconvenience. You think there would be a way they could honor their previous installation instead of going by whatever their system tells them, even though their system is wrong at the install time. Also maybe they could just charge an additional fee if it takes longer than 30 minutes instead of refusing the work overall. Though they probably do that on purpose so they can avoid honoring their warranties. What a scam. Update: I just had another company replace my battery and it took them 12 minutes. That company's warranty will cover them driving out to replace it too. Never going to Autozone again that's for sure. read more

Outstanding service today as I stopped there to get a headlight lamp replaced on the Taurus and a quart of oil for it. The guy who waited on my not only found the part, did the purchase for me, but also came outside, installed the new headlight bulb and helped me check the oil and add the bottle I bought in. This place is amazing. My Lexus battery died. They tested it for free and instead of trying to sell me a battery alerted me that my Lexus battery was likely under warranty. I called Lexus and it was. Okay as we all know, we can barely take the heat. Apparently our cars can't either. My car battery was fried, like acid spilling out fried. So I needed a quick inexpensive remedy with good customer service. I found it here. Interesting fact: AutoZone will test your battery to see how much juice is left. Too bad I cannot give negative stars, cause this place was horrible. Walked into the store after having called first to make sure they had what we wanted. As we walk in NOBODY was wearing a mask, no one even greeted us. Once we got someone's attention they acted as if they could've cared less to help us. Finally found the guy we talked to on the home and was just as disappointed in his service as well. The employees here are knowledgeable and helpful. I like this particular location due to the proximity to Starbucks. This location gets crazy busy and you may have to wait, but the employees give everyone great service, so that takes time. They will go out of their way to help even the least mechanically inclined customer. Good to know if dh is ever out of town and I have a car issue! This store is like the older Autozones. Tight and compact. It seems overcrowded when it has a few people inside. read more

I had a windshield wiper that was on its last legs when I pulled into this location. Although there as a bit of a wait to get a hold of someone, they came out to my car to make sure exactly what I needed and looked up the replacement wipers I needed. He hooked up his diagnostic tester to my car and found that a leak in my emissions was causing the light to come on. I've been to this Autozone a few times throughout the years. The staff is friendly enough. They seem to know what you need them to know too. I haven't had any MAJOR issues with my car though, so I don't think I've ever really put them to the test with my "I need new wiper blades" type requests. Still, they seem pretty knowledgeable.... Today I purchased some new bulbs for my headlights. Autozone had exactly what I needed. There are also some "mystery" lights in my headlight casing that are neither in the Owner's Manual nor in Autozone's computer system...but are clearly on my car, and burnt out. The associate Robert was cool enough to take a walk out and look at the bulbs, and he found me replacements for those too. He even walked back out again and installed them with me (props to Robert!). If this is your local Autozone, like it is mine, give them a shot. I seem to always leave satisfied. Good service! read more

I walked into this Autozone today July 2, 2017 at 10:30am. There was one rep and one customer that was being helped. I was not greeted and waited in line until "Jimmie E." was done helping the customer. By that time, another customer came in and stood behind me. As I was waiting, looking down at my key (what I needed a battery for) the rep says, "how I can help you" I look up & proceed to move forward but noticed he was not talking to me nor the person standing behind me. He was talking to a gentleman who not even got through the door fully. He proceeded to help the customer and I say, "was I not in line?" He then tells the customer what aisle to find his needs on & goes, "what do you need" I then begin to tell him about me key, he's having trouble opening it, he grabs a screwdriver to pry it open and it falls until 3 pieces. He looks at the battery & throws it on the counter, grabs a new one and says, "pay down here" leaving the 3 pieces on the counter. Tells me my total & then proceeds to walk away... by this time, my gears are more than grinded & I tell him to put the key back together. He does but it is loose because he broke it, and then tells me to, "have a nice frickin day". Now, he either doesn't care for people other than the Caucasian race or did not want to be at work today..... Nonetheless, Jimmie E., whose pants were 4 times too big & hanging off his behind. You are THE WORST and I will make sure upper management knows. I hope no one else experiences your HORRIBLE customer service! read more

So if a person were to overcharge me or tell me this or that it's hard to not take their word unless it seems fishy, but thank god the crew at auto zone were friendly and fast to my needs. Don't bother. Went to get help w bleeding brakes. They sold me a mityvac said it was great and would do the job. Product didn't work and all on line reviews warned against the product. Autozone sales people know nothing about what they sell and carry creep crap products. Your better off finding a real auto parts shop.......walmart would be better than this.
