Found this place on a lucky whim - open on Sunday and waited about 30 minutes before we were able to be helped without an appointment. Sheer luck! We needed a repair on one of the pipes to a muffler and with a quick inspection, Daniel and another fellow were able to get it done in 45 minutes. Reasonable prices upfront and direct communication prior to conducting services and smooth delivery afterwards. Entry and exit was a bit difficult since it's in downtown but easy to locate. There was also a nice Mexican food truck right next to the shop so we were able to munch on churros while we waited. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. I visited this shop to inquire about installing a valvetronic muffler and a downpipe. The person I spoke with recommended that I order through them as they could get better dealer pricing. He quoted $1750 for the entire job, including a universal valvetronic muffler, and assured me it would come with a 1-year warranty. However, on the day of installation, I noticed the muffler being installed was a cheap $200 product from Amazon--not the universal valvetronic one we discussed. When I questioned it, he claimed "any exhaust with valves is valvetronic," which felt very misleading. At that point, my OEM exhaust had already been cut, and I felt stuck. He again assured me everything was covered under warranty and the car would not throw any codes. Additionally, we discussed two options for the downpipe--MagnaFlow or high-flow catless--but instead, they installed an unknown downpipe and simply removed the catalytic converter. The real problem occurred the next day. After driving a few hundred miles, my car suddenly lost power on the freeway and threw a code instructing me to visit the service center. When I called him, he admitted he expected the code to show up. When I reminded him that he promised no codes would appear, he said he's only responsible for engine check lights--anything else isn't his problem. Now, my car doesn't run properly and struggles to accelerate. I reached out asking for a refund for the parts only (not even labor), and he refused, spoke rudely, and only offered a partial refund for labor. It's extremely frustrating to pay for quality parts and receive low-grade components that ultimately damage your vehicle. I now have a non-functional car in my garage, and the dealership quoted me a high amount to restore the OEM exhaust. Advice: Even if you choose this place for installation, bring your own parts. Had them install a bolt on dinan midpipe on my bmw but they ended up welding it. I mentioned multiple times it was a bolt on but even if i didn't it should have been obvious based on the fact that it came with clamps. I specifically bought the dinan midpipe because of the resale value, but now it has basically none so im down $400-500. read more

First of all, I like to mention that I'm very familiar with this neighborhood that I lived here for about 15 years and recognize a new business and recognized this shop use to be a tire shop in the recent year, I like to help start up business that really above and beyond as far as explaining, craftsmanship, pricing & professionalism. I came here and I was quoted $700 to clean and re-weld an exhaust leak coming from catalytic converter. I wasn't sure how much with the normal rate for a typical job like that would be. Want to explore a little bit more and see if I could possibly find a better value deal. The owner kept insisting for me to leave my vehicle, I tried to pull lightly politely. Tell him that I wasn't prepared and I was just inquiring and that i may return tomorrow, he tells me he's busy the following day again told me I should've leave my vehicle. I didn't responded and told him I had my dog with me in the vehicle & was not prepared. So I went to another local muffler shop that had HUNDREDS of POSTIVE reviews and was a 4 1/2 or 5 star business. I was quoted 580. The guy was very professional and polite wasn't pushy and was more busier than the other shop overall I got a great vibe with the guy. So the following day I wanted to possibly give this business an opportunity to gain my business and possibly a great review and the owner answered, and I told him who I was and if he remembered me and he said I remember you and told him I went to another local muffler shop and was quoted slightly below and if he was willing to match the other shop price? rather than gain business and possibly start establishing enough positive reviews to make you feel more confident to proceed with which business. I never even told him how much were you never even asked instantly got defensive and started saying how he would do a better job and the other guys were not like his guys(workers) And that I was getting quality work if I did with him. I politely try to calm him down and tell him to relax. It was just a question. He repeated himself all over again and I had to tell him again to calm down. It was just a question. My best advice to you Ray gain some good positive feedback first so a person doesn't question themselves hmmmmm do I go with the shop save me almost $200, has hundreds of great positive feedback on their yelp reviews vs ZER0 reviews, pushy he needs to humble yourself more Ray.
