This past time however was pretty unpleasant. car was dropped off on a Thursday and due to be finished on that coming Wednesday for a camshaft replacement, I didn't end up getting the ok to pick it up until Friday where they tried giving it back to me with a check engine light that wasn't there before and the engine wouldn't even stay on for more than 5 seconds at a time before sputtering out and dying, so they kept it for another day so they could mess with it some more. they eventually got it to be able to run but still sent me home with a check engine light, which come to find out is because they somehow didn't notice an extremely obvious wiring issue that I noticed about 5 minutes into just looking around the sensors. On top of the already pretty unacceptable experience my leather drivers seat also had a brand new rip in it and the paint on my fenders was cracked due to them forcing my hood open because they somehow managed to get it stuck closed. I was promised updates and didn't get a single one throughout the entire process unless I called the owner directly. They also heavily rounded my drain plug when changing the oil. Needless to say Im looking for a new shop now.

Don't be silly. And, my two-seater sports car is none other than America's sports car. (And yes, there is only ONE America's sports car. You can figure it out.) None of those fancy Italian or German roadsters for me. And when it's time for service, I take my hot rod to Ray Huffines Chevrolet in Plano. No, I didn't buy my speedster at Huffines. Actually, I bought it in New Jersey, so I had to figure out a local Chevrolet dealer for my continuing service needs. After several service runs to other dealerships shortly after buying it that were less than satisfactory, I settled on Huffines. Why? Well, let me count the ways. This is my fourth America's Sports Car over the past twenty years. Prior to this one, I took my cars to several other Chevy dealerships in the Dallas area. And getting service from most of them was like being staked to an ant hill on a broiling August day. Matter of fact, most of the time, I would have chosen the ant hill. But over my five or six visits to Huffines, my service advisors have been timely upon my arrival and pleasant to deal with. And their estimates of the service cost and time frame have always been spot on. The waiting area is typical for a Chevy dealership. No fancy expresso machines, complimentary champagne, and hors d'oeuvres that you might find at your Lamborghini dealership. Again, this is a CHEVROLET dealership. And while you might not drive America's sports car, I'd bet that Huffines would be good for your Chevy Malibu, or maybe even some other vehicle brands. But if you do drive a Lamborghini, I'd probably play it safe at the Lambo dealership, especially if they serve some of those fancy Canapés while you're sipping a nice vintage of Dom Perignon.

went in for a front end alignment.... jarrel at front was great. when hte alignment was done,…read morejarrel had left and another person (young guy) tried to ring up the sale. little to no english. finally got through it. go in truck and drove away. seemed better than it had been.. tough to tell on local rodes at 30 mph. noticed that my tpms was no longer registerintg any tire pressure. did not correct itself. drove it next day, highway speed. not working. front end not as i had hoped. still swaying and drifting on highway. called mavis and spoke with andy. primary focus was tpms not working.. "not our fault" .. proceeded to assure me that with his yiears of experience and knowledge there is no way that a front end alignment could affect the tpms system. i suggested that maybe a wire had come loose or gotten pinched. andy was adament this was not possible. said it must be the sensors (all 4?) went in on saturday. spoke with jarrell. again, very professional. explained the scenario. brought out one of the techs.. explained the whole scenario to the tech, only to find out he spoke little english. but he spoke enough to say it wasnt their fault. seems to be a common theme.. oh well... i'll tell two people who will tell two people who will tell two people. seriously, the quality of people working on your cars now a days is pretty horrible. no oversight. anyone who can turn a wrench is hireable... pep boys, firestone, even dealerships (richardson dodge is the worst) good luck... rob h. carrollton tx

They are also able to do a lot of other inspections on your vehicle with the equipment that they brought with them. My technician was great, he was very competent, quick and friendly and very thorough. This is my 4th Subaru that I have owned and I bought them all from this dealership. I'm a big Subaru fan, safest car on the road. I love the turbo engine, just watch your speed, it's been so fun to drive, zoom zoom.
