I was upset before coming in because I had a very long day and my car tail light was literally hanging thanks to the place who said the piece to my light " fell off " ( which I don't believe but that's neither here nor there) but I didn't go in with my frustrations . I went to autozone to get a new piece to my light and John approached me very politely . It was difficult trying to find the part and and take off the broken part to replace it but he was very patient and diligent. Not only did he find it he also put it on for me with no hesitation . Worst customer service ever. 90% of the time give you the wrong part. Bought a jack in California for my sons car when it had a flat. As I always I gave my phone number at the time of purchase. It was the wrong size for his car. I wanted him to have the right size so I went to this store to exchange. The brainiac working there first helped the person that came in behind me then said he couldn't find the purchase under my number. Asked if I had a receipt and I told him no. He then said he couldn't help me. I told him to keep the jack and this comedian told me it's mine. Nice. Bought some Bosche plugs for my Mercedes, we had to call back because we didn't know the spark plug gap. Some stupid girl answered. Couldn't tell us what the gap was because apparently she couldn't find it. She was very rude and condescending. If it were my business, I would have that girl replaced IMMEDIATELY. Shows what type of business they run. We called O'Reillys and they didn't have the plugs but they answered our question. Wish I could have given my money to O'Reillys instead of this dive. Thanks to Emmanuel for helping me out tonight. My battery died and they exchanged it for a new one at a diff location but the guys there weren't much help with what to do for my bolt that had snapped off the terminal from corrosion. They were out of stock of the one it said I needed but Emmanuel came to the rescue at skye pointe. I have been coming to this particular location for years for one reason in particular. There is an employee here named Jordan, he might be the manager I think. I have come for a battery replacement in the past & he provides all the details about all the products they offer and then came outside to help install it. I have also purchased other items like windshield wipers or car mats on different occasions and he is always helpful. I am writing this particular review because of my most recent experience purchasing snow chains for the tires on my vehicle. Jordan yet again helped, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of in regards to pricing or upwelling & I believe that is incredibly rare in an industry where the client generally knows very little on the product offerings of the business. I am not sure who is responsible for reviewing these kind of business reviews but it would be in the business owners best interest to make every effort to reward and retain these kind of employees. A+ service hands down. I actually purchased some Bosch wiper blades for my daily at a different location, and for some reason couldn't get the wiper to fit on the big one. After the most stressful 45 minutes, i sucked up my pride and went in for help. The gentleman came out laughing about how simple it was to put wiper blades on (in a playful way, I am pretty mechanically inclined but couldn't do the wiper). After 10 minutes of him trying to put it on and it not fitting, we returned back into the store. He let me know the blades I purchased, sometimes just don't fit properly, did an exchange and installed the new blade in 20 seconds. The check engine light came on of the BFs car so we came in for them to read the code. It's fairly simple, quick and free to do at Autozone. They read the code and then printed us out papers of what it means and items we might need and parts that they have/ can order and those that they cannot. This was way more painfree than asking your stealership to read your car and get hustled for a handful of things that they tell you the car needs. read more

My headlight has condensation in it. A lot of condensation. And when the dealership wants to charge you $300 for a new headlight assembly, and you can't find one in a pick-a-part for the life of you, there's only one thing a girl can do: stop caring and just change the bulb when it eventually goes out once a year. Enter my need for Autozone. I've always gone to them to fix it... three times before to be exact. And every time, they give me a shpiel about how I need to replace the whole thing or it's gonna keep happening. And then they replace my bulb for me. For free. And they're nice about it. It's never seemed hard. Tonight was my first time at this location, and they seemed... rush-y. I told my cashier (older, grey hair with glasses... I think he was a manager because he was in a grey button-up instead of red like the rest of them) what I needed, paid, and that seemed like the end of the transaction. I stood there for a second and said "...do you guys fix it for me, or...." He sighed and said "I can take a look." Ok Mr. Attitude... I should have known it was going to be bad right then, but he came out to my car, had me pop the hood, looked at it for literally one second and said "I can't get in there. You have to take it to a mechanic." A little perturbed, I said "Ok... is there a shop close by you could recommend?" He looked me dead in the eye and simply said "A mechanic." No shit Sherlock?! A mechanic. And that was it. He went back in the store and I drove away with my headlight still out. I called Firestone up the street the next day, and they wanted to charge me $80 to fix it. Lol no. So I asked my boyfriend, who is not a mechanic, to do it today on his day off... he fixed it in 10 minutes and said "That was really easy. That guy at Autozone was being a lazy asshole." I understand that this might seem like no big deal, or like I might be overreacting, but I would have been a lot more understanding if he would have just said "We're kind of busy right now, but come back tomorrow and we can fix it" or something similar... or just hadn't been rude? If I'm going to a chain for a specific reason, I expect the same results every time. That's why I went to Autozone in the first place... because I KNOW they can fix it. There's no need to treat me like an annoying, stupid girl who doesn't know dick about cars... even if I really don't. Long story short, I won't be back to this location. And I'll probably even reconsider Autozone as my primary choice for car care from now on. read more

The employees are pretty knowledgeable here and will assist you in installing batteries, windshield wipers, and other easy things that you can buy here if you need help with it. Asked for spark plugs and decided to answer with a backwards rebutle...."We ain't got no such animal hurrr...." Stopped in on a whim to try a quick fix. I was greeted immediately by a smiling employee who asked if I needed assistance. I informed him what was ailing my ride and he knew exactly the remedy I was in need of. He walked me over to section containing the magic potion and explained the protocol to follow. So far, so good. Of course my car wouldn't start when I have a trunk of groceries, my 5 year old daughter and this vegas heat (105 degrees to be exact).
