Seeing that I have had it multiple times I won't criticize it as much and chalk it up as a one off. Drinks: The Frosé is so refreshing. It's a cold slushie perfect for a warm summer day. The sample flight is also cool and a great way to taste all the drinks. The presentation is cute and it's a fun experience. (5 STARS) Ambiance: It's a cozy and comfortable vibe. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
