I also preferred a local installer in Northern Virginia, and Sky NRG fit that requirement perfectly. We signed the contract on July 26, and the panels were installed on September 10. Megan handled the HOA permissions, and the installation was completed ahead of schedule when Sky NRG found an opening that suited me. Juan and his team managed the installation with careful attention to the aesthetics of the panel placement. Robert, Sky NRG's CEO, was present during the installation, underscoring their commitment to customer satisfaction. We discovered issues with my existing electrical panel during the process, and Robert recommended replacing it. Based on the quality of work by Juan and the overall experience with Sky NRG, I opted to have them handle the panel replacement rather than seeking other bids. Juan completed the job, and I'm pleased with the result. After said repairs were done, it still leaked. was advised that it was the water pump and that they were not interested in doing the repairs. They put stop leak in it to temporarily seal the leak. Dumb move as that process only causes more issues. clogged water jackets internally, clogged heater core and radiator. although I drove the car to the shop I was unable to drive it home. broke down twice do to water pouring out. Picture is what it looked like as I finally made it to my parking spot. 780.00 dollars for what? Replaced water pump myself as the car was now totally broke down and had to replace a clogged up radiator. I am sure more damage due to stop leak installed by shop is yet to come.

Beware of Shady Practices - State Inspection Concerns…read more I took my car to this Liberty station for a Maryland State Inspection on September 11th, 2024, and unfortunately, I had a very questionable experience. Before handing over my car, I thoroughly checked everything myself and was confident that the car was in great condition. However, after the inspection, I received a call from the station manager telling me that my 3rd brake light (the center light) was out and that there was a leak with one of the rods. I was shocked because I had just checked all the lights, and everything was working fine. When I asked about the cost to fix the alleged leak, I was told it would be over $900. I decided not to go through with the repairs and picked up my car. A few days later, I took it to another nearby station for a second opinion. Before dropping the car off, I checked the brake light again and discovered that the 3rd brake light had been pulled out of its housing and clipped. I couldn't fix it immediately due to a fractured hand and informed the second station about it during the dropoff. My car had actually failed the inspection only because of the brake light--nothing else was wrong with the car, and there were no leaks. After fixing the brake light, I returned to the second station and my car passed the inspection without issue. The whole experience from the Liberty station felt extremely shady. I'm concerned that they were trying to overcharge me for repairs that weren't necessary and even fabricated the issue with the brake light. ***Like I said earlier, I checked the car out before dropping the car off. For anyone who isn't mechanically inclined, I would strongly recommend being cautious when dealing with this station. I don't know if this is a common practice here, but it's certainly left me with serious doubts about their honesty.
