It's been 7 years since I wrote my last review here and B-Man's has stayed consistent. The restaurant has not changed at all and menu items are the same. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl with brown rice. Service is super efficient and you get your food right away. The portions are hefty too, but I still think there is way too much rice (I end up wasting it). I love their teriyaki sauce and everything tasted yummy.

Fantastic quick & casual spot. Crossover of a charbroiler and bowl spot. The teriyaki burger is great as well as all the different fry variations. I really love the meat and rice bowl/plates. You get a ton of food for the cost and the proteins are packed with flavor and that grill taste. It makes going to one of the chain bowl spots pointless. Grab this for a lunch and some leftovers or a quick weeknight dinner.

My girlfriend brought me here to grab some sandwiches to go. We had just finished breakfast so we weren't ready for lunch but since we were close she brought me to B-Man's Teriyaki to get a couple of sandwiches to take home and eat later. She recommended the chicken Teriyaki as her favorite and their specialty so that's what we ordered. I added avocado and American cheese, she added avocado as well. We ate an order of fries in the car while they were fresh and hot. Good krinkle cut fries with perfect salt. Ordered and paid at the counter, given cups for drinks. Also received a puck that would light up and vibrate when our order was ready. Nice clean, well lit dining area. Sat and enjoyed my drink while we waited for the sandwiches and fries. Everything was done in less than 10 minutes and we were heading home. We ate the sandwiches for dinner and they were very good. Nice chicken. We asked for the sauce on the side since we were going to eat later and that kept the rolls from getting soggy. We enjoyed our sandwiches, id give mine a 4.5 out of 5, it would have almost certainly been a 5 if we'd eaten them at B-Man's hot and fresh. Id definitely return and next time eat there for the freshest experience.

It's been a long time since I've eaten here, and was recently passing by and decided to stop in with the family. From what I remember, this place was amazing, but not today. Staff was friendly enough, We ordered so many things on the menu and the only thing that tasted good was the frozen thawed out French fries. The chicken curry tasted very weird., teriyaki chicken all breast with only coleslaw not sure if it was the chicken or the teriyaki sauce that had a foul smell. ABC Burger was OK., chicken skewers were let down, and Korean short ribs didn't have much flavor to them. Even the dumplings did not taste good at all. None of us finished our food, and we all complained about the food having a weird smell. I'm not willing to give this place Another chance, it was that bad. Better luck to those who are braver than I.

I've been a loyal customer before B'Mans opened when his Dad owned Spikes Teriyaki Bowl across the street from Gabrielino High School. The teriyaki and Curry bowls were my fav. Then B'Mans opened and introduced my to Kalbi Korean Beef rib bowl. Not long ago i was disappointed with the tiny beef rib portions and I almost gave up. Tonight i decided to give it another try and wow, the ribs are larger the quality is still amazing, online ordering was very easy and I'm happy to say that, Thank you B'Mans for listening and I can't wait to go back for more. Thanks again. David

Consistently great food and service. Items of choice ABC burger, Teri Fries, Curry Bowl, Teriyaki Bowl. Highly recommend this location. So sad to see the Duarte location disappear. Extra points to the staff who decorated for Halloween. Shows a lot of thought and effort went into it. Great job!!!

I was getting bob at Half and Half next door and knew wanted to try out B-Man's Teriyaki. I liked the huge menu and options for everybody. Ordered at the counter a ABC burger and chili fries small. The food came out quick and service was friendly. I liked the burger and the sauce made it better. The chili fries were different than your usual chili fries. The chili had a slight sweet curry taste to it. Next time, I would ask the fries to fried a bit crispier. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

This review is for some catering that I picked up from the restaurant. Not the chicken! I'm only rating for their service and prices. I did some shopping before I finally found B-man's. I had a work event with a budget. I ordered pans of rice and macaroni salad from their establishment. My order was ready on time and the rice and macaroni salad were a hit. I definitely will be coming back to check out their other food. But if you're looking for catering definitely check them out as their prices were the best in the El Monte/San Gabriel area! The guys worked with me and were helpful when it came to my questions. I really appreciated the service and patience!

What a great visit with the good old buddy today after visiting a sick friend in the hospital, we decided to make a pitstop. It was like going back in the time with the flavors The food is always good here and the service was great as well. No complaints. Food came out in a timely manner and the place was spotless. I only have one gripe... Gotta get better chairs . That being said, see you soon.... Thank you for the great lunch !

The first time I came to B-Man's, this place gave me a sense of confusion. The menu in particular seemed like a random concoction of unrelated food...teriyaki chicken, Chinese chicken salad, burgers and chili?!? Oooookaaaaay? Man, was I wrong! This place is so good I've literally stopped here every of the 20 times I took a road trip in the past year. What's great about B-Man's IS the menu diversity and the fact that you just can't go wrong with anything on the menu. To date, I've tried everything on the menu and it's all awesome. My particular favorites are the chicken chili and katsu curry with the chili being particularly life changing. The only issue here is the parking. Because the parking lot is shared with Trader Joe's, there is pretty much never any parking. I have historically gotten "lucky" 18/20 times by just entering from the driveway next to B-Man's and hooking a sharp turn towards the spaces directly across from the store front. *Bonus tip* Turns out, the geographical location is perfect to cut around some traffic going through Pasadena when driving from IE to the grapevine.

You can order at the kiosk and its super easy. This recent time I got the pandan flavoured ice with 3 toppings: boba, oatmeal, rainbow jelly, condensed milk. The pandan flavoring was really, really light. If you ate it on its own then you can taste it but with any of the toppings, it washes out and you get a weird bitter aftertaste. Needs way more intensity of the Pandan for it to shine through. The boba was sadly unevenly cooked. Some balls were undercooked with a little firm center, others were completely mushy. Rainbow jelly is the usual one you can get anywhere, nothing special to comment on. Free parking lot out front but can get busy. You can find street parking in the nearby areas too. Inside the place is small with a few tables you can sit at, clean and comfortable enough. People are nice I suppose but there was minimal interaction since you order and pay at the kiosk. Pricing was reasonable, not cheap, not overly expensive. They open really late, which is a perk. Overall 4/5 I think is fair. Ive had better items from them in the past, but this time 3.5/5 for quality of their product.

This time I went I wanted to add sesame balls. I didn't check because why would I need to open the container and stir around to see if it's in there? I got home and there was no sesame balls or the other toppings I added. Each topping is $1-1.25 each. Sure that's not expensive by itself. But with each order it adds up. Hard to want to enjoy something from what use to be your favorite spot when they keep messing up and don't bother to care when you bring up a complaint to them. My suggestion is to go to another location or stop supporting this place altogether. The store owner is too cheap to get the amount of attention they do.

*** Credit cards accepted over $30 ***…read more Sinbala is one of the most iconic and long-established Taiwanese restaurants in Los Angeles and the flagship restaurant has been around for 20+ years. This is my go-to place if I ever crave actual authentic Taiwanese comfort food. Although the restaurant closed its secondary location in Rowland Heights and had a rumored change of ownership right before COVID, this flagship location is still here to stay. The original founder Linda used to work at Wan Chun Taiwanese Food before opening Sinbala. [Parking]: The parking lot can be packed during busy hours, but I had no issue finding an available spot on Sunday at 5:30 PM. [Atmosphere]: Casual dine-in setup and you are not exactly coming here to vibe but rather to enjoy good Taiwanese comfort food. [Menu]: The signature dish to order here for 1st timer is definition #1 Sausage Rice as their Taiwanese sausage is their claim to fame item. While Yelp's top highlighted items include #36 Popcorn Chicken and #2 Fried Pork Chop (all solid picks), I am a sucker on their noodle bowls such as #24 Beef Noodle Soup and #18 Pork Stew Noodle Soup. As a general rule of thumb, The general rule of thumb is their menu has picture of featured items and those are the one to get. The flavor profile really hit the spot and reminded me of the same stew noodle soup I had from Taiwan street vendors. *** This still remains one of my top Taiwanese restaurants in Southern California as there are fewer and fewer legit Taiwanese restaurants in Los Angeles / Orange County now.

SinBala - Arcadia…read more SinBala is one of the rare Taiwanese restaurants that has stood the test of time. I grew up eating here. There used to be several locations across Southern California, and I'm glad the Arcadia location is still here. Every visit brings back memories. I come for the Taiwanese classics that are becoming harder to find. The popcorn chicken is still one of my favorites--crispy, fragrant, and seasoned the way Taiwanese street vendors do it. The Taiwanese meatball soup is comforting, and the Taiwanese sausage always reminds me of night markets back home. What I appreciate most is that SinBala doesn't just serve street food. It brings those familiar flavors into a warm, home-style setting. It's nostalgic without trying too hard. Before you leave, save room for dessert. Their shaved ice is a must. I always recommend the brown sugar shaved ice topped with five mochi or boba. It's refreshing, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to a meal. Taiwanese food is often overshadowed by other regional Chinese cuisines, but places like SinBala remind me how unique it really is. Simple, comforting, and full of character. I'm grateful this little piece of Taiwan is still here.
