The chicken was perfectly cooked and came with some macaroni salad and steamed veggies. Spam musubi: they added their teriyaki sauce with a generous amount of rice, so the spam wasn't too salty when eaten together. The double ABC burger was messy and satisfying. However the beef had a bit of gamey flavor, like some cuts of flank or skirt. The spam musubi was everything you want and expect in that bite and the macaroni salad and slaw was pretty good and flavorful. Been wanting to try this place for the longest time. Every time I go to pick up my latte @Klatch, I wanna just go in and order their ABC burger. However, I ended driving away because I already ate or it wasn't opened yet. Today, I finally decided to place my order and I wanted to order like everything lol but I opted for the ABC burger and the short ribs bowl. Burger was alright. It looked neat lol but when I sliced in half and picked one side up, part of the bottom bread was so wet that it disappeared. I suggest to not cut it in half. Just hold the burger with the wrap to eat the burger. The avo was fresh and all but not sure why it didn't really hit the spot. Meat wasn't juicy enough? hehhe The short rib wasn't tender enough. I haven't been to B-man in years so I finally went to pick up for dinner on a Wednesday night in February. I went inside and greeted by the cashier behind the plexi glass. I ordered chicken teriyaki plate with rice, cabbage, macaroni salad. My wait was 10 min which was fast. I got home and the teriyaki sauce was kinda sweet but it taste good with rice and chicken bites. The cabbage and macaroni salad takes away the sweetness of the sauce so it has a good balance. It's kind of a more niche fast food joint ( the shark tales of animation movies really) but they have fun dishes! I especially love their curry fries! And best of all, it's a lot of good food for the price you pay. The teriyaki chicken is good. It has a charred flavor you're looking for and the meat is always good quality and juicy. In my opinion they give too much sauce (not sure if that's a bad thing) but that's because I like a good ratio so I always ask for it on the side. The beef is ok. But I would recommend chicken over beef any day here. The Mac salad is good and the cabbage slaw is too salty for my taste but I think the food complements each other. Bae has been trying to get me to try B-Man's since we started dating four years ago. I'm just not really a burger kinda gal, and he swears that's the best thing here. Well, four years after we meet I finally get that super rare craving for a burger and he couldn't pack me into the car fast enough! What I tried: Double ABC Burger - this was AMAZING. 2 Pattie's, Swiss and cheddar cheese, lightly grilled onions, avocado, and yummy yummy teriyaki sauce. I couldn't believe how good this was! We got one to share and I have never regretted a decision more on my life! Chili Cheese Fries - We got a large and it came out to $9.88. For $9.88, I'd much rather have The Hat (my gold standard for CCF) The portion here is half the size of The Hat for about the same price, the crinkle cut fries are mushy, the chili is sweet with chunks of tomato and beans everywhere. I just wasn't a fan of this AT ALL. Also, how was I only given 3 chilis for a whole large container of fries. Sad face! Sprite - I normally don't have an opinion on regular soda fountains but I did want to mention that the sprite out of this fountain tasted a bit odd. Like the machines are old and not cleaned properly. Also, the large is way too big to fit into a regular car cup holder so I had to hold it all the way home. Especially the Door Dash guy and the woman complaining about not giving free food to homeless people. Health Code Violation.... I was eating dinner here, saw multiple food delivery drivers preparing the order. I don't think any of them have taken a course in food preparation, or have washed her hands, but yet they're given a cup to prepare drinks for their orders. None of them washed their hands prior to getting drinks, some even held the cups with their fingers inside. I would think twice about ordering to go from here.
