Love to come here for some delicious Taiwanese food + Beer. My favorite is always their Popcorn Chicken and Melon with Salted Egg - it is SO good. They're not as crowded as they used to pre-covid days, but that's always a plus on my end as a customer due to not having to wait for a table. I can describe them as a Hole-In-The-Wall kind of bar as they are definitely not trendy and updated (Think: Christmas decorations all year round). They have Bogo deals on their beer and you get to save any un-redeemed pitcher for your next visit. I was looking forward to visiting but was let down, mostly by the service. We went a little later on a Wednesday night and there were only a few other parties seated. During our stay we were never checked up on, not even to place our order. We tried to flag them down multiple times because we had waited so long, and even went up and waited at the counter a few times to try to place our order, but were ignored. It was even more frustrating watching them do other things that seemed lower priority as a server to us while we were trying hard to get their attention. Eventually we did place our order at the register. As you can imagine, we also had to go up to get our check and pay because we were ignored the rest of our time here. To their credit, food and drink came out fast. However, we had to ask for water, which seemed strange to us especially at a drinking spot. I wish they had more alcohol because the selection is pretty small for a bar. I felt that the food is pretty expensive for what you get, but it was pretty decent. The chicken cartilage was the standout for sure, but not all the pieces of chicken had cartilage. Overall, I would not come back. read more

B2O has become my family's new go-to weekend restaurant. Great service with complimentary pickled cabbage and marinated boiled peanuts which are to die for. Beer is also BOGO per pitcher, which is great because you get a voucher if you don't immediately want to redeem the second pitcher of beer. The B2O fried chicken is a must try. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and juicy. Another favorite is their 3 cup tofu and basil eggplant dish. Their music choice is kind of weird, but it's not too big of a deal (same short-ish playlist on repeat, including the gummy bear song). At least they don't blast it like some restaurants do. This was one my fav restaurant. They offers authentic Taiwanese food with incredible flavors and high-quality ingredients. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu had a great selection of classic Taiwanese dishes. The braised pork rice (滷肉飯) was rich and flavorful, and the beef noodle soup (牛肉麵) had the perfect balance of tender beef and fragrant broth. We also loved the House special chicken wing(招牌雞翅)--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Man, ouch there are a lot of reviews that criticize the look of this place but honestly to me I kind of like it. It's been here forever and the owner is still the same owner serving up some tasty Taiwan food dishes. It is a bar and it feels like home to me in some way. I don't know what it is but I do like sitting here and drinking some alcohol while eating some Asian dishes. They serve beer and also have soju which most of my friends ordered pitchers of beer while I was downing the soju. Overall I feel like if you want a chill vibe where you won't be bothered by people this is the place to be. This place used to be a good place to hang out after the gym. We'd get the stinky fried tofu, skewers, ribs, soup, and a variety of food. It's a good place to get some food and beer. I prefer to get the tofu crispy. It does not stink at all if fried extra crispy. Service is slow and it's always crowded. They usually only have one or two people attending to 7/8 tables. So be patient. I ordered a stinky tofu Togo, but apparently it wasn't as good as if I ate there. It was dry and bland. And the portion was much smaller for $18. Not worth it anymore. If you want to try and eat in, I'd recommend it. But seems like there was a decrease quality and quantity. read more

It's open later than most Taiwanese/Chinese restaurants with similar dishes which is very convenient for those late night cravings. My favorite items: -salt + pepper spare ribs -hot + sour soup -fish fillet -house special fried rice -honey walnut shrimp -fried pork intestines (extra crispyyyyy) Everything comes in a good portion whether you are dining in or taking out. They also have a wide selection of veggies sautéed with garlic, so yummy! What's a good meal without some veggies? I do have to say though this place is pretty small, so if you plan on dining in, go early or be prepared to wait or you'd probably end up going down the street to get something else. I believe they have somewhere around 8-10 tables, but once in a while they'll get a big party in there that takes up most of the room. They have a small selection of beers (no good domestic beers though :/ ) and they also do serve soju and soju cocktails that are super tasty! Place may look worn down and kind of sketchy but don't let that fool you; their skewers are really good and at a very reasonable price. They have a very wide range of options for skewers. Good selection of beers and alcohol as well. I love that it's open relatively later than other places so this is great for a late night food run. I've been coming to this place for the past 3 years. Has always been my go to place to drink and eat every weekend for those whole 3 years and has made great memories in this place. Ever since the male owner took over this place, it has always been disappointing. The food is good but not for the price they are charging. They used to charge $9-$12 for every dish, but now, they increase the price to $15-18 for almost every dish. A whole $3 up charge! No other restaurant ever does that. They used to give free pitcher of beer for ever pitcher we ordered, but now, we have to order 4 entrees to be eligible for the free pitcher. Ever since the male owner took over, the business practices has been bad, the lady before was always super nice to us and recognizes us by name. I hope they change who runs the place. Just a few days ago, we came in for a drink, they immediately ask us if we were gonna order food when we sat down and we sat no, and when we try to order pitchers of beer, they immediately tell us that we won't be able to get free pitchers unless we get food. Who are you to tell us customers if we have to order food or not. In the end, we only ordered pitchers and after paying, the male owner had the audacity to come out to us to ask for tips when you only serve us beer and didn't give us a good service. If you give us a bad service, no matter who you are, you are not getting tips. I am sorry to the waiter, but it is your owners fault. Absolutely left a bad taste in our mouth. Never coming back here again. Who ever is coming here for the first time or a regular customer, please take your business somewhere so that they learn their mistake. What I normally get - the Spicy lamb ribs. If you've never had, run!!! don't walk to try them. It's so flavorful, garlicky, and spicy and the perfect compliment to the beer. The fried bean curd (a hard tofu) and stinky tofu are pretty decent. I've been a little meh on their three cup anything, but that's just IMO. Did I mention, BOGO (buy one get one) free pitchers of beer? AND it's on tap? Downside? Only Bud Light and Amber Bock. :( Parking is a lot in the back or street parking. Be careful of loitering and have a DD - there's a sheriff's office across the street. B2O is a good spot for group of friends who needs a late night drinking spot with some food to much on. But there are few downsides to this place. Here's my breakdown: +Open til 2AM on Fri and Sat. +Buy 1 pitcher get 1 pitcher free deal. +Nice owner. If he thinks your group can't finish the pitcher that was placed in order or they're almost closing, he'll give you a card instead so you can redeem your pitcher of beer next time you visit. +Parking available behind the restaurant. -Old Chinese people hangout here. Sometimes they get so trashed and they start picking a fight with each other. Last time I was there, some dude got so pist he started yelling at his friend so loud and broke one of the beer glasses. So trashy. -Food is okay. They need to bring back the spicy lamb ribs. Everyone used to come here for that. Then they changed it to pork ribs, which tasted similar enough but a bit off. Now the flavor of the spicy pork ribs is completely different from the flavor of the original spicy lamb ribs. It's like they changed chefs of lost the recipe or something.
