Always a good place for lunch on a Sunday. The portions are always quite generous, whether I order a green curry teeming with chicken, bamboo, basil or any of their rice noodle dishes (their Pad Kee Mao is very tasty!), I usually have enough left over to take home. You can choose your level of spiciness: none, mild, medium, or hot. Thai milk tea with boba is pretty good! And they have quite the selection of vegetarian "meat" options. The service is quick, the staff is friendly but not pushy, and the place is very homey and peaceful-- good for groups or a one on one. read more

There used to be a really good Thai restaurant at this location. Sadly this replacement did not win me over. I ate here before when they just opened and I came out unsatisfied. A co-worker had ordered a mixed-veggie with chicken dish for lunch and it looked good! And swears by it. I thought I'd give them a try again and went there last night and ordered take-out. I ordered combination fried rice, beef panang, yellow curry chicken and mixed vegetables with chicken. I requested the level of spiciness for the curry and panang to be at mild since I have not tried how spicy their curry can get. I don't understand why the yellow curry came in a bigger styrofoam container than the beef panang which came in a much smaller container made of paper/cardboard. The beef panang was ok but it was much too oily. Is that even normal? The yellow curry was ok too but I was disappointed that it only contained a few bits of chicken and some veggies and chunks of potatoes. It was almost like having a soup because there was just too much of the coconut milk/cream. The curry also was too creamy tasting to my liking. The combination fried rice was just ok. I've had better fried rice, curry, and panang at other Thai places. In spite of this, I did enjoy the mixed-veggie w/chicken. I would go back if just for that. read more

I ordered from this place on eat24.com. All the food was delicious! 1. The Pineapple Fried Rice (with shrimp added) was delicious! 2. Pad Ka Paow Seafood = Yummy! The spice was just right. 3. Pad See Ew (with Beef) = Overall yummy. But, the beef was too tough for my taste. 4. Thai Iced Tea = Yummy! Even better than Kinnara in my opinion. 5. The delivery lady was friendly too. A loyal customer for over 5 years now. Great place - quiet, low-key atmosphere and friendly hospitality. The lunch special is $5 dollars (entree, rice, and soup/salad). I eat here about 3-5x a month during my work day (right near Kaiser). They have several other selections from the menu. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because they have fans instead of centralize a/c in the restaurant. And you know how it gets hot in 818. If you are looking for something the opposite of Sanam's (loud, it's a small world atmosphere, etc.) this is the place to go. read more

Came here after work. Had to wait a little for them to open. Not the best place to hang out outside. Ordered Pad See Ew and fried wontons to go. The staff was very friendly. Came home wanting so much to enjoy my meal, but alas, it wasn't what I expected. The wontons were good, crisp and tasty, but the Pad See Ew was a disappointment. It was a little dry and the broccoli was mainly the stems and some leaves that didn't taste good. I've had delicious broccoli in other Pad See Ews at different restaurants, and I was so hoping that this one would taste good, but it didn't. I would try other dishes here, but not that. read more

Excellent thai food! It is a little gem hidden in the valley. The curry is tasty, a bit more spicy than regular thai place. I love their bbq beef, especially the sauce! There are 3 Thai restaurants within a stone throw away here and this is a solid choice. I think the 4 star rating is accurate. We tried the Pad Thai lunch special, pineapple fried rice, and Rad Na. They were all pretty good. It's hard to screw up Pad Thai but many places do and I will say this place is above average. The only negative parts were that they use powder for their Taro smoothie and they didn't have boba when they opened at 11 am and they were rather slow when I was trying to pay so I had to walk up to their counter. Next time I plan to check out the place across the street so we shall see how that goes. read more

Tasty Thai food. I've been hooked on their food. My husband and I have been going at least once a week. They offer a soy fish that I get with my noodles. They have vegetarian options and non vegetarian options. I get the Pad see eww with soy fish, their coconut soup with shrimp and a jasmine tea. It's so good. They've been having a special for happy hour 20% off the entire order. Parking is good, they have a parking lot and there's also a lot of street parking.
