This restaurant has significant issues with its food quality. To start, I ordered the ceviche, which was not properly prepared. The chips that came with it were covered in an excessive amount of Tajín, completely overpowering the dish and making it unpleasant to eat. Our table also ordered the chilaquiles. In all my years of eating Mexican food, I have never seen chilaquiles made with nacho chips covered with Tajín. The combination was extremely unappetizing, and I could not eat them. Next, we ordered a pizza that seemed to be made on pita bread or a similar flatbread. It was very dry and lacked flavor. We then tried the hummus with lamb. The hummus had a grainy texture, as if it was not fresh, and the lamb was so greasy that it resembled chorizo. Unfortunately, the flavor was disappointing as well. We barely ate any of the food. Most of the dishes were sampled once and left unfinished. The chilaquiles were so unappealing that I could not even get through a bite. As a final attempt, we ordered the pudding, which turned out to be another disappointment. The presentation and texture were not appealing and reminded me more of a bowl of soggy cereal than a properly prepared dessert. The one positive aspect of our experience was the service. The waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food was among the worst I have experienced at a restaurant. The service was top notch and the interior design of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The small plates are a nice idea and great for sharing, but there was not one item that really jumped out as being delicious or craveable. The drinks we're good, but overpriced, and the valet parking was a complete rip-off. The roof deck is nice but doesn't have enough shade to make it truly enjoyable. Had the best experience at Bacari this past weekend on 8/30. Everything from the food, to the service to the ambiance was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I got to try a few different plates but the stand out for me was the lamb hummus. Even my boyfriend who isn't the biggest fan of hummus said it was his favorite. We also got to try their date cake with ice cream for dessert, again so good with the salty sweet combination. I am a Naples local and miss our beloved Michaels. However, we had hoped for a similar replacement in Bacari. I wanted to like Bacari. It's LOUD, with all ages of guests that are not locals. The food is supposed to be Mediterranean but ceviche & chiliquilles are simply Mexican cuisine. The ceviche had whole shrimp with half cut tomatoes? It was gross and we sent it back. The Shawarma tacos were dry. The drinks were tasty, a bit too sweet and definitely too small for their $20 price tag. This is not an upscale local hang out & shouldn't be located in Naples, it should be Belmont Shore! People come to get trashed in 90 minutes only to jump in their car intoxicated and drive out of Long Beach. The food like avocado toast and chicken wings are not Mediterranean at all! They are average tapas to appease the masses. More outsiders will continue to come for cheap drinks and average tapas, but we won't be back. read more

This made 'Tips' a little confusing. Overall, our Ticket was reasonable. A party of 2 was kept under $250. In the end. Im torn between Thumbs up or Down on Bacari LB. Bacari did deliver on its youth, energy & space. But lacks a bit of substance. A few kinks are to be expected. But, We had fun. Parking was close. The upstairs seating was exciting. We were so excited to hear they were opening a location near our house, and it did not disappoint! We went with five friends last night and had an incredible experience. I highly recommend ordering as much as you can and sharing--everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We also did the bottomless sangria for $35 per person, and it was totally worth it. We had a great experience! Since we were a party of six, we made a reservation for the roof two days before, even though it was a Monday. The ambience was unique and was perfect for feeling special for a birthday - busy and summery. Everything we got was delicious, especially the mac and cheese, watermelon salad, and date cake with ice cream. Our server Hilary was amazing and made my husband's birthday feel extra special. Lastly, we brought our 15 month old and she loved the food! While the space doesn't look like it's meant for children, they still had a children's menu and crayons and welcomed her. If you are looking for more a festive party could be your gig. 3) drinks are 5 star which helped this rating. Menu was great, food was just good. Nothing to make me run back. Server was attentive. Came here for a party of 7 and our experience was so lovely and fun! Although we had to wait 20 minutes for our reservation, our servers Terel, Perla, and Justin were bantering back and forth with us, made us laugh so much, and made sure we were taken care of. We got so many different things that honestly were all 4 or 5 out of 5s - watermelon salad, lamb kebabs, oyster mushrooms, cauliflower, etc. Cocktails were also so well balanced and tasty. This restaurant has been on my list for some time and was very lucky to see a location opening near me in Long Beach! I lucked out and got a reservation the first week, so I had my 50th birthday celebration here this last Saturday night. We were a lively group of 5, full of foodies, a former executive chef, and people who love to have a good time. I think we ate nearly everything on the menu, except the Lamb Cigars and the Chicken Schnitzel which sold out before we could order these (our reservation was for 6:45pm). There was only one dish we didn't love, the pork belly, it tasted burnt but they were kind enough to remove this from our bill. I think the brussel sprouts were mid, but the broccolini was phenomenal, I don't know what sauce they put on that plate but it was delicious. For as much as we ate and drank, the bill was actually quite reasonable. The drinks were fantastic. Everything we ate was delicious. We were there for 5 hours and ended up shutting down the bar. We will definitely be back!!! One thing that was a little confusing was the roving waiters. We had one girl take our order and then never saw her again, she had left for the night and then it was not clear who we were to order food or drinks from for our next round. Thankfullly, the staff and management on site was very accommodating and explained that literally anyone can take our order, but it was a bit awkward to have to flag down different staff member each time. I think that was more of a learning curve for us being our first time visiting, and could have been made more clear by our first waitress. Justin walked us through the menu, made some absolutely excellent suggestions, and treated us with so much friendliness and professionalism.
