Bacio boasts a wide variety of gelato flavors and they have a very nice presentation. The employees were very welcoming and they offer free samples to taste the flavors before you buy. The pricing is normal for LA around $8 or so. Scoop size is average as well and I like that they allow you to split the scoop with 2 flavors without charging extra. I got the Raspberry Sorbet and one of their Chocolate flavors. Perfect mix of sweet and tart! read more

Oh my gosh this is the BEST gelato I have ever had. The texture was perfect and it was rich / full of flavor. I got tiramisu on a cone and it did not disappoint. Price was normal for anything like this in Los Angeles. I also sampled a bunch of flavors which I felt bad about, but the staff was so pleasant and welcoming. We chatted for a bit about this shop and what their personal favorites were. The enviornment was extremely clean and relaxing. I could not get over how beautiful and aesthetic this spot is. Perfect place to have some gelato and do some work. There was a ton of natural lighting coming in as well. read more

Super creamy and milky flavors. A bit too sweet for my taste but the ice cream tastes very high quality. I got the buttercream pretzel and strawberry cheesecake. The small cups are the perfect size to choose 2 flavors. The buttercream pretzel was a well balanced sweet butterscotch balanced well with the salty crunchy pretzels bits. The strawberry cheesecake flavor had swirls of fresh strawberry jam that gave the milky cheesecake flavor a tart zing. I would enjoy both flavors separate next time but you can't go wrong with any of their unique flavors. read more

This place was busy but I received great service. There was a bit of a wait but the small cafe is clean and bright. I ordered the matcha affogato with one scoop of coconut and one scoop of pistachio. My friend was raving a lot about how this spot was one of her favorite gelato places. They have many pistachio flavors which is her favorite so it makes sense. I tried a few flavors I thought I would like but didn't end up liking as much as though like cherry yogurt and maple butter something. I like that it doesn't melt very quickly the consistency is very creamy and evenly textured. I think pistachio and chocolate flavors are good here but everything else just seems okay or tastes different from my expectation. read more

Omg, I have a new favorite gelato spot! Upon walking into this chic and upscale Italian inspired shop, you notice people smiling and laughing while beautiful tubs of gelato are elegantly presented in front of you. Kudos to the excellent team here, the shop was busy and they let me try a few flavors as I was shopping for the perfect pint to take home while not rushing me in any way. The flavors are insane, all very rich and indulgent. The hardest challenge was only being able to take one pint home, but ultimately decided on the Buttercream pretzel which they hand scooped into a to-go pint for me. The location on Larchmont provided easy parking at night, cute benches outside to sit on, and great customer service with an awesome product. This is my absolute favorite ice cream shop. During my last visit, one of the female staff members was especially kind and thoughtful. I had my hands full and had forgotten to bring a bag, so I was struggling a bit. She noticed right away and kindly provided me with a bag, which I truly appreciated--it really made my day. As for the ice cream, it goes without saying that it's consistently delicious. My personal favorites are the cherry yogurt and pistachio flavors. Delicious gelato!! So difficult to pick the flavors, but happy that they give samples of whatever you want to try. Very friendly service, but they can do better on how they scoop the gelato and hand it to you. The waffle cone was honestly passable, and I regret the extra price I paid on it given that it tasted stale and didn't have the crunch you'd expect from a waffle cone. The ice cream itself is also on the pricey-side at $8 a scoop, and unfortunately starts to melt as they are scooping. You can tell the ingredients are quality. I loved the strawberry cheesecake and buttercream pretzel. I also loved the modern, charming, and chic aesthetic of the shop. They also have pints to go if that interests you, but honestly not sure if they'd make it home solid haha... Parking around here can get a bit tricky if you don't find a free meter, but it's worth walking around the square. read more

A staff member with glasses argued with us when we asked for one regular cup with three flavors, insisting on using the term scoops. We explained that we wanted two scoops of the same chocolate flavor and one scoop of strawberry sorbet. Even after we explained ourselves clearly in two different ways--using both scoop terminology and simple math--the staff member continued to correct us in a condescending manner. Meanwhile, the group of three customers in front of us sampled four to five flavors per person, which took significantly longer, yet the staff seemed more bothered by our simple order. This made the experience quite unpleasant. We like this location, and the gelato itself was delicious, but we have encountered soulless or rude staff here on several occasions. read more

First time at this location. It's a bit smaller and not enough seating indoors or outdoors but the gelato is still divine. Variety of flavors of gelato and smoothies. My most favorite is still the hazelnut chocolate and the mint chocolate. Some flavors are sweeter than others but overall a great balanced gelato is being made here. The store is clean and has great decor. Makes you get in the mood for eating gelato. Gives Italian vibes. Customer service was friendly and fast. Must check out when in the area. Bacio di Latte on Larchmont is all about surprising flavors done right. The gelato is rich and creamy, and while the waffle cone smell pulls you in, the flavors are what matter. The guava is my go to. It sounds odd, but it is bright, smooth, and way better than you expect. There is sometimes a line, but it is worth it. Even with Jeni's nearby, Bacio di Latte has its own thing going and it stands out. Definitely a must stop if you are on Larchmont. read more

I love everything they represent by prioritizing high-quality natural ingredients. As I stepped inside the building, I was impressed by the interior with its bright lights and clean, glossy white walls. The ambiance was just right and the smell of waffles filled the air. Service was pleasant as I requested several samples before choosing my selections. What I ordered: GRANDE GELATO (Strawberry, Vanilla, Pistachio, and Coffee)--This size allows me to order up to four flavors. Verdict: SUPER CREAMY, TASTY, and flavors were, ironically, mouth-watering. This ice cream took me to Heaven and back. After trying their ice cream, I became their follower. Bacio di Latte recently opened in Larchmont, and the store prides itself in using fresh, natural ingredients sourced from Italy. My partner and I stopped by and we each ordered a piccolo cup (two flavors max): my partner opted for nocciola (hazelnut) and yogurt/amarena (cherries) and I got pistachio and buonissimo (chocolate peanut butter crunch). Cups are pricey at $6.75 each, which for the small amount of gelato is a bit excessive. Any case, the gelati themselves are very rich and intense in flavor. I especially loved the pistachio, as it really tasted like eating ground-up pistachios! The buonissimo tasted like a Reese's peanut butter cup, which I enjoyed, but it was on the thinner side-- wished it was a bit thicker. I also had a bite of my partner's gelati: the yogurt/amarena reminded me of a cherry Yoplait yogurt, which was funny, but I'm not the hugest fan of Yoplait yogurt, ergo I found that gelato flavor just-okay (haha). Strangely, I didn't taste much of the hazelnut flavor in the nocciola, as I'd expected a strong, almost Nutella-like taste to it. Guess not. Overall, the quality of the gelati are a solid A-plus, even though I didn't like all of the flavors. It's on the pricey side, but Bacio di Latte is worth at least a try, especially while in the area and looking for a treat. read more

They have chairs and tables for you to hang out and eat/drink what you purchased. There's also just benches if you wanna lounge. I've seen people here working on their laptop and groups of people around one table so the vibe is chill and friendly. It also depends on what time of day you come. Weekends usually get packed. As for the drinks and food. What we've had here has always been good. Best to eat their Croffle and baked goods there. Although Matcha is not for my liking, I'm more for their Taro Drink. B says the Matcha here is one of the better ones she's had. I have to agree even their Matcha Ice Cream is good. We get is the Matcha Croffle + Ice Cream, Matcha Einspanner, Taro Einspanner, and their cakes. Only thing I knocked down a star is because Not all the workers know the answers to your questions of what is in what food item or if you can substitute the milks. So that's something Cafe Upper should train all staff. Especially if people have food allergies.

The vibe outside on the patio was great. Lots of people working on laptops, plenty of room to settle in, and it felt more like a co-working space than a typical coffee shop. The gelato itself was absolutely off the charts -- truly some of the best Italian gelato I've ever had outside of Italy. My spouse and I stumbled upon Freddo on our way home from dinner and decided to stop by for a little treat. Service was nice and allowed us to sample as many gelato flavors as we liked. My go-to flavor in Freddo Argentina is pistachio (the best flavor), but sadly, the Freddo here did not serve it. I opted for a standard dulce de leche instead, which still hit the spot. I also noticed that Freddo in the US has more creative flavors than in Argentina, as my spouse got dulce de leche with Oreos and a Patagonic white chocolate (which tasted like a Cherry Garcia). All were yummy, but if I had to be picky, it was just a tad on the icy side, compared to the soft creaminess I've had abroad. All the same, I'm so glad Freddo is here in LA. Now, I don't have to go all the way to Argentina to have it!

Pretty good ice cream in Ktown…read more Walked here for some after dinner dessert on the weekend. Was pretty quiet when we walked in. There's a few tables on the first and second floor to hang out. The place's menu has mainly coffee and ice cream. They have a couple sorbets, but opted for the tiramisu and pistachio ice cream flavors. They do split scoops which is helpful. The tiramisu flavor was really good - almost seemed like you were eating actual tiramisu. The pistachio hits well also. Would def recommend!

I got the honey affogato. It was ok, nothing special. Tasted like nothing. The coffee tasted like water. The ice cream was typical icecream. I'm giving it 4 stars since the staff is great and the ice cream is "ok."

We were able to sample and David knew exactly the flavors our palates would enjoy. I settled on one generous scoop of cappuccino in a waffle cone. So delicious! I definitely will be back to try more and their Turkish coffee! Support your local Gelato :) Random Fact: The word "gelato" means "frozen" or "to freeze" in Italian.

They had a huge selection of dairy-based flavors BUT they did have one vegan gelato. And it was DELICIOUS. I was not even sad I didn't have the same huge selection my non-vegan family members got to choose from because I can't imagine I would want anything other than this Spirulina/coconut-based flavor. My family said their flavors (cherry and dulce de leche) were delicious, as well. The server was nice, too. The reason for 4/5 stars is because seeing how well they were able to create one awesome vegan flavor makes me wish they had a few more. Also, it was pricey. Regardless, we will definitely go back again!

They offered sandwiches, Cookies, some more sweets and options of drinks. I first knew the place from looking at someone posting it on Instagram talking about their cookies. Being a cookie addict, I obviously went and gave it a try. Unfortunately, they're out of the pistachio cookie so I ended up with the salted caramel Biscoff cheesecake cookie. It was a pretty huge one and served warm with melted salted caramel on top. The cookie was tad too cakey for me who preferred the gooey one, but I liked the creative idea having the combo of cookie and cheesecake. I got their salted caramel latte and I liked the housemade salted caramel syrup, also the price was reasonable for the size. Would recommend go for less sweet for best taste.
