We were staying within walking distance of this location so we decided to come here for breakfast instead of the hotel breakfast. First off, both Google and Yelp said they open at 7:00 am, but this is incorrect - it's 7:30 am. Not a huge deal but we were there at 7, and had to walk around for 30 minutes to kill time. Locals probably know it's a 7:30 opening time, but it should be kept up to date for those of us out of town. We walked back at 7:32 am and they had just opened thankfully. We ordered at the counter when you first come in and the cashier/server was friendly. I got the Bronco Burrito and my husband got the Haus Burrito, minus onions and mayo. We were pleased with both orders, but maybe I was happier with mine than my husband was with his. We both noticed that different things, like cheese or bacon, seemed missing when we started eating, but then both showed up the further we got into it, so the ingredients weren't spread throughout. I was jazzed to see that this place offer non-meat option as I am going through a pescatarian phase. I've never had "Impossible meat" so this was a nice chance to try. They have their Haus Burrito that is made with impossible sausage instead of regular sausage. I got my egg sunny side up. I ordered ahead for pick up and was told 15 minutes. Once I got there - at the stated time, I waited about 5 more minutes. So pretty accurate and they had a lot of people picking up on a Tuesday morning. The egg was cooked nicely to have the yolk - you can get scrambled if that's not your thing. The impossible sausage tasted like sausage so that was interesting. And the hash brown instead was crispy which added a good texture to the burrito. I love that they give you Cholula. There is very light chipotle Mayo inside and they give you some on the side which is nice that they don't smother it with it. I got my fiancé one and he ate the whole thing quickly. One was big enough for me to get full in half. We'll be back to try other things. read more

When I arrived to get my takeout order, I walked into an almost empty restaurant and was directed by signs to pick up my food at the bar. I did so and found myself waiting several minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge me. He just kept chatting with the one and only other patron sitting there. This continued for an awkwardly long time. I finally had to interrupt his conversation and ask for my food (sitting in a clearly marked bag behind the bar, literally 6 feet away). There was nothing more than a drip of green chile. I requested it SMOTHERED, and I got a drip. I am not sure why there's so many bad reviews. I think the burritos stand up to their name, they are pretty badass. I ordered a dozen for a work breakfast and everyone was so excited. I loved that they put crispy tator tots in their burritos and not filler like other places do. The wurst burrito was excellent. They offer lots of different combinations and even have Impossible or Beyond vegan meat. Literally a burrito for everyone. My only complaint is that the delivery was about 15 minutes late, but altogether I am very happy with my decision to order from here and would def order again. There is hardly any egg on the bronco burrito, small pieces of avocado, just the right amount of jalapeños for me, and a lot of yummy crunchy bacon. The ingredients were not well distributed at all. Lots of tortilla not a lot of filling. I wished I ordered two though. That being said, the food is tasty. The tater tots are really good. My husband ordered the Cajun burrito same problems. We ordered through an online delivery platform and the food took a while to be ready and was delivered late, despite the driver having waited there for quite a while. We ordered 2 burritos - a bratwurst (german-esque) burrito and the bronco. The side sauce they provided did not go with the burrito at all so we didn't use them. The burrito overall was super sweet and there was just something off with the taste. Size wise it was filling, but it was lacking in my opinion. After spending 60.00 bucks, taking the time to drive to Bad Ass Burritos, and calling to speak with someone about their mistakes only to have a recording telling me the voice mail is full, I am more than a little frustrated. I have a large family with many dietary restrictions and preferences. I understand it requires one to pay attention and care enough to double check what was ordered to make sure we get what we have ordered, well that didn't happen. They have a unique breakfast burrito for the Denver area. Wouldn't compare this to breakfast burritos you get anywhere else. They are I'm a category of there own with there breakfast burritos. Honestly, the breakfast burritos when made properly as ordered are absolutely fucking amazing. However I am 1 for 5 for the last few visits. They get the order wrong almost every. single. time. Once a few months back I went into this place to order breakfast burritos, and they charged me, I waited 20 minutes, only to be told that no one in the back knew how to make them and they were refunding my money. The last 4 times I've went they have messed up my order every time. They didn't add avocodos, one time the burritos didn't have any eggs, they put the spicy mayo all the way in the bottom of the burrito so i had to eat dry burritos up until the last 2-3 bites. Other reviewers have mentioned not to use food delivery services such as uber eats or grub hub, etc., and I can also confirm this is bad. Not only will your food be wrong, but it will "be stolen from the counter", requiring longer delivery times. Overall, this place has massive potential but they need to hire quality employees who are committed to excellence and customer service. Okay, so their marketing is awful because this is actually a part of Dog Haus but their locations don't mention that unless you go inside and look at the menu or speak to someone. Basically, when you drive up and park, all you see is DOG HAUS.... nothing about Bad Ass Burritos. The burritos are very delicious and they're a large portion. I've eaten the "Borracho Burrito." I honestly believe that paying 10 dollars for a burrito of this quality is an absolute bargain. I will definitely be returning here when I have business in the Denver area. One MAJOR snafu is that the address on Yelp is completely inaccurate. This place is actually located inside of a restaurant called Dog Haus. This place has great breakfast burritos. Amazing actually when you get what you order. I would only recommend this place if you are going to said location. I have had my last draw with this place today after receiving the wrong order yet again... this is the 4th time in a row that this has happened. This will also be the very last time I order out from them ever. I had three orders in a row get messed up, and then I have to deal with customer service for this delivery companies and its very painful . The problem is this shop, they get things mixed up, or straight up don't make the requested changes to the order. The third mess up of my order was I got a wet burrito with a lot of meat and tots in it, When it was delivered it was scrambled eggs and a avocado, not even close to what I ordered. Needless to say it was pulling teeth with door dash trying to get my money back. After that hat trick I didn't order for about 6 months.... well today I wanted to try it again, and see what happens. Just wow. Found out about Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos through a Denver food IG page. I am so glad I did, because I had the best freaking breakfast burrito of my life. They just dethroned the breakfast burrito I had years ago in San Jose, Ca. I shared a Chachi and somewhat regret it because I wanted more! It was super flavorful with the sausage and the spicy Mayo/hot sauce. Then there was a nice crunchy texture that just elevated it even more. I'll definitely make this a must-visit whenever I'm in Denver! Hopefully other DogHaus (I'm looking at you Chicago) can bring it to their stores! Tldr; the Chachi was amazing.
