    Impossible Haus Burrito
    Mai L.

I was jazzed to see that this place offer non-meat option as I am going through a pescatarian phase. I've never had "Impossible meat" so this was a nice chance to try. They have their Haus Burrito that is made with impossible sausage instead of regular sausage. I got my egg sunny side up. I ordered ahead for pick up and was told 15 minutes. Once I got there - at the stated time, I waited about 5 more minutes. So pretty accurate and they had a lot of people picking up on a Tuesday morning. The egg was cooked nicely to have the yolk - you can get scrambled if that's not your thing. The impossible sausage tasted like sausage so that was interesting. And the hash brown instead was crispy which added a good texture to the burrito. I love that they give you Cholula. There is very light chipotle Mayo inside and they give you some on the side which is nice that they don't smother it with it. I got my fiancé one and he ate the whole thing quickly. One was big enough for me to get full in half. We'll be back to try other things.

    Cajun Burrito

$12 dollar "bad ass" breakfast burrito in all of its glory...advertised as having three fresh scrambled eggs. It barely had one. Dry in every bite as it was mostly tortilla. What a shame. First time we had it a year ago it was actually great.

This is the bronco burrito. Small in size, lots of tortilla little bit of everything else. Still it tasted good.

I ordered for the first time and had it delivered Uber. First it isn't a badass burrito, I'd say it is a burrito that needs to hit the gym a little harder. There is hardly any egg on the bronco burrito, small pieces of avocado, just the right amount of jalapeños for me, and a lot of yummy crunchy bacon. The ingredients were not well distributed at all. Lots of tortilla not a lot of filling. I wished I ordered two though. That being said, the food is tasty. The tater tots are really good. My husband ordered the Cajun burrito same problems. The Cajun did have a lot of sausage on it. I would recommend and eat from here again, maybe.

I really wanted to be a fan of this, but it did not work out. We ordered through an online delivery platform and the food took a while to be ready and was delivered late, despite the driver having waited there for quite a while. We ordered 2 burritos - a bratwurst (german-esque) burrito and the bronco. The side sauce they provided did not go with the burrito at all so we didn't use them. The burrito overall was super sweet and there was just something off with the taste. Size wise it was filling, but it was lacking in my opinion. I wouldn't come back here for the burritos - I'll stick with their night gig of being a hot dog place!

He nailed our orders and the food came out pretty quick. I hadn't had bison brisket before, super tender and juicy, full of flavor. The sprouts were great and the broccoli was creamy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were puréed to perfection and the gravy was the perfect finishing touch. It was really busy for a Tuesday but we only waited about 20min. Totally worth the wait! Adding Ted's to my list of must visits in the Denver area. Highly recommend!!

You can tell there's real attention to detail in every dish, and nothing felt overly complicated just for the sake of it. We ended with the pecan tart and espresso martini. It was just the two of us and we were stuffed when we left. They sat us in their outdoor space and it was so, so nice. We LOVED it. Cons for this paragraph is the wait for the food is ridiculous. Why 45 min at least for any dishes. If you're ordering multiple. They're not coming out all at once. The appetizer orecchiette we got was tasty in regard to the texture. Nicely al dente. But it was extremely salted and extremely sour. Unsure of what flavor profile they want to have. Our server recommended the roasted chicken to be the most seasoned dish. I'm not sure whatever they marinated actually puncture the meat. It was cook well but virtually no flavor. Not any difference if you just boil chicken breast by itself. Everything was really pricey for no reason. Sure it was a good size? But if you compare it to restaurants located in downtown, a similar dish is at least 8-10$ cheaper. $14 for a basket of shoes string fries, $41 for roasted chicken and $43 for steak? On par with coors field at least. My assumption is that any new coming restaurants at the Stanley market is just a test run with a safety net to see if the restaurant actually performs well if it was a stand alone business.

SPACE: Located in an outdoor mall area, the space is easy to spot with ample parking. The interior is cozy with dim lighting and oak accents, while offering a variety of seating for parties of all sizes. A spacious outdoor patio is also available - perfect for the summertime! We were seating in the middle of the dining room, which was fine with us. The vibe is def cozy chic, which we found welcoming . SERVICE: I had booked reservations in advance, as Happy Hour here is a major hit. The friendly hostess seated us and our server followed shortly behind her. She was friendly, attentive, provided some good recommendations and was pleasant all around! SIPS: While our friend opted for a glass of wine, my husband stuck with water, while I looked at their mocktail menu. The options are limited, but available for a fun treat. I opted to try the "Little Kiss" which was a mixture of grapefruit, sparkling soda, and cranberry. The flavors were on point for the holiday season and tasted refreshing. I will admit, the glass it came in was a turn off. It was like a normal draft size class, which made me feel like I was about 9 years old. Bummer. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for drinkers alike - beer, wine, cocktails, you name it, they have it! SUSTENANCE: The food!! This spot is known for their rustic Italian and woodfired creations - and the menu is fire. I asked for some bread and oil to start - because that sounded divine. It came out quickly and was a nice intro to the meal. My friend opted for the Pasticcio - aka meatballs, three cheese tortellini, slow braised Bolognese, herby pomodoro, bechamel and parm brulee - which he found to be fantastic! It came with more bread, which was perfect for dipping. My friend got a kick out of the presentation as well - in a cast little iron cauldron! I chose the Seafood Pasta - a special of the night. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed in my meal - as it was a mixture of squid, shrimp, scallops and other - in a red sauce. Not what I was expecting with seafood, but always down to try new things. The seafood flavor overpowered the dish - which made it hard to finish. I opted not to take it home. My husband noshed on the Brasato - Barolo wine slow braised angus short rip, creamy polenta and gremolata - which was DIVINE. The meat was SO tender, delicious and took on the rich wine flavor, perfect over potatoes! YUM! The pizza stood out to me as well, but considering Cattivella is classy, I opted for other. The whole atmosphere here is very family-friendly. There's a large open outdoor area where kids were running around and playing, and being right next to a soft serve spot makes it even better for families. Inside, it had a great sports bar vibe without feeling overwhelming. They had all the NBA and NHL playoff games on, and I could easily see myself coming back here to catch a game and grab food with friends. The beer selection was also solid, with a nice variety of local breweries and ciders. For food, we started with the roni rolls, which were really good. The portion isn't huge, but it's perfect for sharing between 2-4 people. The menu mentions allowing extra time for them to come out, but ours arrived surprisingly quickly. We also split a half Caesar salad, which was pretty standard but worked well as a lighter course between appetizers and pizza. The highlight was definitely the Catapult pizza -- really flavorful and absolutely worth ordering. Would definitely recommend the pizzas here overall. For dessert, we went with the brownie skillet sundae based on our waiter's recommendation. It's basically like a smaller brownie version of a pizookie. The edges were a little overdone from the hot skillet, but overall it was still really good. If you're a brownie fan or just have a sweet tooth, it's definitely worth trying. Great energy, great setup for families and sports fans alike, and a place I'd happily come back to.
