I visited their brick and mortar spot located inside Lyric. They offer 4 spice levels to their chicken. I got mild because I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food . I ordered the loaded fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, fried wings and drumsticks. Everything was prepared fresh and steaming hot! Even though I ordered my food mild there was still a bit of a kick to the chicken tenders but everything had a good flavor overall. The portion sizes were huge! This food truck chain has three locations in Texas from which they sling Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, and fixings. I had passed it probably a hundred times, so one hungry evening I decided to give it a go. The employee working that night was remarkably friendly and helpful. When asked about spice level, he candidly offered that he didn't find the "Lava" tier to be enjoyable at all and recommended the next spiciest level. I took him at his word and ordered a "Hot" Cheesy CHX sandwich. Outside of it being quite sizeable, the buns were lovely and soft, the thick slab of chicken was juicy and well-cooked, and the gooey American cheese was a surprisingly tasty upgrade. It was topped up with some creamy sauce, pickles, and coleslaw. I liked that the chicken wasn't overly breaded or fried. My one knock is that the seasoning, which was more of a dry rub with brown sugar, wasn't particularly spicy and I was hoping for at least a little bit of pain.
