Bafang overall is pretty good. They're fast, clean, and you can order ahead of time online. I've had their dumplings, corn soup, dry noodles, beef noodle soup, and frozen dumplings before. Their beef noodle soup is reasonably portioned and taste is more Taiwanese and pretty good. You don't feel like you've slurped down a ton of chemicals and oils. It's hard to come by a beef noodle soup that is better than mediocre nowadays. read more

Their location is nestled in the middle of the Brea Mall food court with plenty of seating to eat your meal after you're done with your shopping! The menu is fairly straightforward and offers a variety of different combos. I chose Combo 2 which came with their Signature Potstickers and Signature Noodles. The total was about $13 which is reasonable given the amount of food you get. It took 5-10 minutes to get my food since the noodles seem to be made fresh. I was very satisfied with my meal -- the potstickers were nice and crispy while the noodles had a peanut butter base with a savory taste. Will definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings! The best food court food ever!! Honestly a must try. So glad I waited in line for this spot. They are a Taiwanese dumpling company and the dumplings are top tier. I grew up eating Taiwanese Dumplings and these are not only authentic, they have fresh noodles and pork tender/juicy pork chops. The signature dumplings and pot stickers were perfectly cooked and super juicy. You can also just taste the freshness and it feels super healthy- not greasy or heavy. My friend and I shared the #2, there's 3 combos I believe. We paid $14 to share dumplings and noodles which are decent size, but not filling if you're sharing. We were so surprised by the quality of the food. The noodles are sesame noodles and you can tell they're hand-pulled. The dumplings were pan fried but so soft at the same time. I've been looking forward to trying bafang and it did not disappoint! For $13 you can get 6 potstickers and a nice sized bowl of noodles! Although none of the food blew me away I thought everything I had was tasty and was great quality for mall food (especially for the price). The potstickers had good flavor and went well with their sauces but they could be a bit more crispy. The noodles were really nice and chewy and had great sauces! Service was quick and we got our food in about 10 minutes. The worker was nice and explained their menu to us when we asked. Good noodles and delicious dumplings. I got the original noodles, I liked them. But the pork and kimchi dumplings were amazing! I want to get a bigger order next time and try all the rest. I enjoy spicy and they had a tiny kick, nothing crazy. Oyster sauce was also good. The people were really nice as well. I first tried it close to Christmas on their opening day. And I like how the place looks as well. It's been empty for as long as I can remember, I'm glad it was like another burger place or something and I'm glad they went with noodles. If you like dan dan noodles then you will like this dish because it has a similar flavor profile. I also got the signature dumplings with pork and cabbage in them but those were ok. Went there for lunch, ordered a mini wonton soup and signature dumpling; there was only 2 customers in front of me and I had to wait over 15 mins for my food... The most unbelievable thing is what I saw during the wait. There was a Chinese lady who came out from the kitchen, without gloves and used her BARE hand grabbed the frozen dumplings into the pot for cooking. Food wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing, I got the potstickers and the pork chop for $14 and some change. Not terrible pricing but I could get a lot more food and cheaper at the teriyaki place across. The potstickers tasted like frozen ones and not freshly made, the pork chop was fry fresh to order so I waited about 15 min for the food. Overall if you happened to be at the mall and craving dumplings then give it a try but don't expect anything to be special. read more
